- REMOVING THE DODGE DAKOTA R/T ENGINE we take the engine out of the this dodge dakota pickup truck to make room for the 6.2L Supercharged HEMI Hellcat swap that will be going into this single cab pick up truck we go through the process of removing the engine

on the rear end question, you might want to look into Currie rear ends. they are one of the best on the market. and will build to fit the dakota.

The upper portion of the radiator support was bolted in or had to be cut or...?
Just bolts in 2 bolts per side

I dumped 19k into a durango rt once including the cost of the car (I sold it) but it dynoed 913hp to the wheels with the 5.9 magnum so kinda a waste of money on hellcat swap but it’s cool

Who is a good source for 5.2 / 5.9 Magnum performance parts and ECMs ?
There is several places online and one is hughsengines.
Don't buy anything except the AirGap intake from them. Shop elsewhere for other parts.
Easy part is done!

Hey John, do you know if the 5.9L share the same engine mounts with a Dak or Durango with a 4.7L?
They don't, the 3.9L 5.2L and 5.9L have different mounts on the block than the 3.7L and 4.7L.
