Hughes seems kind of like the flaky rock star frontman with an ego , but if you speak to him you will find he is one of the nicest most down to earth cats you will meet . Especially for a guy with the resume and the respect that he has
I still see him in his twenties playing with Trapeze. I saw them in Arlington, TX when I was 20, front row. I was moved and inspired. How he can still sing this way after all he's been through, just gifted.
This is one of the best concert DVDs ever pressed on to a piece of plastic. I watch this almost weekly and it NEVER gets old. 4 awesome musicians just doin' their thang... BEAUTIFUL...
I can not begin to explain how deeply this song (above all other BCC songs) touches and moves me, by the time it ends I am always teary.... what a gift
I showed my friends some of bcc's songs and it turns out my dad was right, not many people my age would appreciate this music. My generation doesn't understand quality music.
The pure talent of those musicians and sound they put out mesmerizes me ! Glenn's vibe and vocals moves my soul deeply !!! SO glad for real music like this not some computer generated crap
WOW! Great band, great tune, I love everything about this tune. Glenn's vocal, Joe's guitar, Derek's keys and Jason's drums. Jason sounds very much like his Dad, which is a great thing in my opinion. Joe just keeps getting better and better! IMHO he's one of the greatest to ever pick up a guitar. Glenns' vocals take me to a place far away, I get the same effect from Maynard of TOOL, DIO, Tate of Queensryche, Plant (when he's on ) and Dane Warrel of Nevermore to mention a few. Love this!
just got the bluray version. exellent sound....have been playing it everyday since. the whole family like it...even my 7 years old boy...!!! thank's BCC....
It is not a lost cause...I am 53 and I have one 15yr old dtr...She grew up listening to me and her mom's music...She loves all the classic good music from the 70s and 80s...Led Zep, Stones, A-Smith, Who..etc...And since I am a big GHughes fan, SHE LOVES BCC...There is hope..with a little guidance...
I agree, Glenn Hughes has kept his voice even after his lost decade in the wilderness...Joe B. , Jason Bonham and Derek on Keyboard...Producer and studio wonderkin Kevin Shirley...I am in my 50s and this band brings all the sounds back, but with a freshness that I love...
+SuperXpress2 well, it goes something like this, make one or two albums and tours, call it quits. Queen made 4 albums before they had anything close to success. As good as these guys seem, as a band they werent willing to pay their dues.
Sorry for being a year late but.. did you like the same music as your parents? Every generation has 'their' music, from the Swing Bands in the 30's to rock and roll in the fifties to the 'classic' rock in the seventies to grunge in the nineties to what is popular today. We all stick with what we liked when we were fifteen, that will never change..
So few performers have the ability to sing live as they do in the recording studio. I can only think of a handful. Glenn Hughes now counts among them. What a vocal powerhouse!
He should be embraced by musicians and music lovers alike cause when he is gone they will say he was one of the greatest guitarist ever to have played....period
I hope they try and make they're way to Montreal,Canada..Met Jason back in '99..It was great talking to him about music, and he was thrilled that i was THE only one who didn't mention his dad until he himself brought it up..He thanked me for that, and bought me a shot of Jamieson whiskey !..LOL ! good times..
@ebealienhead indeed. i was there when the band formed, the first time they jammed together, just a trio, no keyboard at the house of blues in la. they sounded this good the first time they played together.
I did like some of their music, but couldn't admit it at the time. I wasn't a fan of some of my much older sister's music in the early 60's..the crooners and folk music, but I loved her Beatle & Stone's late 60's records...Glad you like real music, made by real musicians. Have a good one.
I have the Blu-Ray of this...KILLER...You gotta love Joe for taking a REAL 59 Les Paul Burst on the road..Like he says, they are meant to be played! You guys ROCK
for the dvd recordings the people film, plug directly into their soundboard, so they are getting they same signal that is coming through the speaker system to the audience.
Jason sounds amazing...got that Bonham snare sound...great riff here...bass player has Gary Moore's voice...Bonamassa is ripping...keep it coming guys!!!
Nice work Blica. A rock moment I'm sure you'll never forget, & well earned for your support & thoughtfulness. Wish they would also come 'down under' for this Aussie rocker to get a dose of B.C.C..
Where did these guys come from.Great FU__IN music./Good to hear ol school music again.Thought the spirit had died, thanks for keeping it alive guys AWESOME!!!!
It is amazing that Glenn has kept his voice. So many others did not and yet here he is still hitting all the notes at age 60.
Hughes seems kind of like the flaky rock star frontman with an ego , but if you speak to him you will find he is one of the nicest most down to earth cats you will meet . Especially for a guy with the resume and the respect that he has
The Chief Administrator absolutely
He's actually had a chat with me before be it Facebook Lol but thanked me for sharing his music. He enjoys what he does for sure

Modern day "Led Zeppelin" . They play with so much soul, my favorite band at this time.
The Best Rock Group of the last Century!!!
Great band. Joe's such a clean player, love his style.
I can not begin to explain how deeply this song (above all other BCC songs) touches and moves me, by the time it ends I am always teary.... what a gift

I can't believe how good this is.
GH Is and will ever remain unequaled ! A voice like this must come another planet somewhere in the galaxy...
1959 Gibson Les Paul sunburst plugged into a Marshall 100 watt plexi. Wow. . . still blows me away.
he’s not plugged into a plexi im pretty sure at the time of this show he was using new more modern marshalls
the crowd looks so lifeless!! i would be fuckin rockin for sure!!! great song
Glenn Hughes is an angel on earth. God he's amazing.
How the fucking hell didn't this band become one of the biggest rock bands ever?! (Too bad they're not playing anymore :'( )
+SuperXpress2 well, it goes something like this, make one or two albums and tours, call it quits. Queen made 4 albums before they had anything close to success. As good as these guys seem, as a band they werent willing to pay their dues.
Легендарная связь поколений!!!!Низкий поклон и восхищение!!!!

Glenn Hughes and some wicked vocals.

As far as this sounding like a studio recording, you can probably chalk that up to their records really having a live vibe to them.

I should be in this band, Bonamassa is his own man, although great lead break

Great band ! Thanks for posting, bccommunion .

Go back and listen to Trapeze's You are the Music album. Gives me chills. Don't stop the music, don't stop the band.
Also sounds like something by Free, or For Those About To Rock-era Ac/Dc! Great stuff, indeed

When Joe and a 59 Les Paul standard burst get together, beautiful things happen.
Not a 59'
Kinda sound's like BOC. But anyways, thank you BCC !! Rock is still alive & kickin'. Great fucking music ! Keep it coming.....
Textbook "left handed compliment".
Very Zep sounding.
4:13 Fucking hell! Rock proper, that!
