Are you kidding, schools are war zones where if you read, are good at math, or don't have 20/20; they're going to try to beat you into the ER, while the teachers, coaches, counselors, and principal s watch and laugh, and tell you it's your fault for not fitting in.
And of course, the business filth run their company the same way.

This was all planned. The destruction of the western family, male figure, female figure, and competent parenting. Gen Z was basically raised by a generation of materialistic, hedonistic, control freaks. Gen X doesn't want to give up power. And it shows in the way they hindered the next generation. If Gen Z is this bad, imagine how bad will be the generation raised by them. Society will collapse until we go back to our roots again, and start over. Humanity needs pain, right now.

I'm sure the parents are just trying to make sure the kids can move out of their basements

The report did not say 20% of Gen Z brought a parent to an interview. It said 20% of employers have reported that a Gen Z brought a parent to an interview. Its still ridiculous but those are completely different numeric outcomes.

As a 22 year old Gen Z-er myself. They SHOULD be laughing at this. I’ve worked many types of jobs and have had numerous interviews. I’m currently an Amazon delivery driver based out of Carle Place NY (Long Island) It never even crossed my mind that I should have a PARENT with me for the interview. That is pathetic!!

I mean, now is the time to rise above the trash. All those from Gen Z that can gather knowledge and amass money will rise above the rest, quite easily. Most people are lazy, incompetent and unmotivated nowadays, especially the younger people. There is a tremendous opportunity in the cloudy storm. Remember, the previous, more competent and useful generation is getting older and they can't work forever, and the ones who show up to it will take their place.

The problem is that in the U.S., people refer to college students “Kids” or “College kids” when they’re actually adults. Therefore, college students remain dependent on their parents even after reaching adulthood and lack a sense of responsibility and maturity.
Unfortunately, this attitude creates a potentially lifelong setback.

I got my first job when I was 14. I did not bring my mother. We were taught in school how to dress and act at an interview.

A GenZ in my class got an a in communication last semester and you could’ve fooled me. He literally covers his mouth every time he talks like he’s trying to eat his fist and zero iContact. The guy is very intelligent and has no disabilities.

Why shouldn't they have somebody on their side in the room. The business is going to have 3-4 (or more) people on the other side of the table being as pushy and agressive as possible.
As for 'dressing professionally?' Why would they, the way people in suits and ties treat people. They don't care about skill, intelligence, or ability; don't care how hard you work, or how effective you are: all they care about is trying to put their hands on you for not wearing the right colour tie, socks that don't match your tie, or for not 'fitting in'.
As for the garbage about eye contact, shaking hands, or holding the video on a call; all nothing but methods of threat, dominance, and intimidation. Similiar to the way the business trash see you if you read, are good at math, science, and computers, or don't have 20/20; they're going to try to hurt you badly, try to jump you from behind and beat and stomp you into a cripple.
