- The replacement of Vice President Kamala Harris for President Joe Biden at the top of the ticket has tilted the races for the White House and Congress in the direction of Democrats, though all three fights will be close, according to Decision Desk HQ/The Hill’s updated analysis of its election forecast. Harris has a 55% chance of defeating former President Donald Trump and winning the White House, a sharp turn up from Biden’s 44% chance of winning when he left the race and endorsed Harris on July 21.

I didn’t vote for Trump in 2016 but I could feel the energy in the air that he would win; it wasn’t a surprise for me like it was to other non-Trump voters. Likewise, I knew he would lose in 2020 bc I live in a ruby red state and heard lots of former Trump voters (educated white females) say they weren’t voting for him again - on many seperate occasions. And, he lost! This time, my gut is telling me Kamala is going to win, and there is going to be a major Blue 💙 upset around the country that polls didn’t capture and many underestimate - just like 2016 but in reverse. When are we going to finally get actual policies from Harris? I'm hearing a lot of crazy stuff about taxing unrealized capital gains and giving $25,000 to first-time homebuyers. There is no way in hell I would vote for someone proposing things like this.
So building new affordable homes isn’t a good thing? What about tax breaks for the middle class? Cutting our dependence on fossil fuels that are our planet? Giving free food to every child who attends public school? And giving money to people to buy houses who couldn’t otherwise should be universally supported. Find some empathy for someone other than yourself.

It's the consequences that everyone has to live with.
