I loved that cute beginning. I am a Texan, born and raised near Austin. I have been a subscriber for a couple of years and enjoy all of your videos. Keep on Changing Lanes!!!
How you....three... Don't have 100k+ subscribers is beyond weird. Top 5 channels on TH-cam. The editing, the humor, the real life, the bike rides....and that goes back to the WONDERFUL editor.👍 I love how when you pass a sign, you pause the video out just long enough to take everyone on the trip with you. You guys truly are the best! 🏆🏆🏆
Thanks! We hope to get the the six digits! We've been SUPER happy with how far we've come in just over a year though... And our editor (Tara) says THANKS! 💙 😊
One hundred or so people at a meet up, how awesome. You both are so fun to watch. Very cool that you hung out with Stacy and Phil. We enjoy your videos a lot. Take care and be safe!
Got a great tech (video production) idea for you two: When you're filming in the cab of the truck at night, see if you can find some kind of LED soft glow lights that you could plug into your cigarette socket in the truck. You could place two sets in each floor board (or maybe the dash) and adjust your lighting for those low light conditions. The film American Graffiti used a similar technique and I think you guys might like that effect. Loving the channel!
We were in San Antonio three different times because we have three sons who are all Air Force and all graduated from boot camp there at Lackland AFB. Great city with lots to do. Texas! Great footage. Thanks
I love your videos....you guys compliment each other! Texas.....we lived there near Houston, it’s a totally different state....great country western dancing.
I love Waco. Been there every time we have traveled to Bossier to visit family. This time we RV'ED from WA. Love seeing the country from the ground this time. I always spend too much in Waco so missing it this time.
Dang if I had watched y’all before this video and known y’all were in town I would of stopped by. Hope u guys had a great visit and safe travels. Love the videos.
Swamp tour... what fun! Was in NOLA many years ago with my mom & brother for Christmas. Mom would never pack one suitcase when she could pack four and Mark & I would struggle to haul them around. We were rather pissed off when she pulled out of one of her suitcases a nearly 2’ tall Christmas tree. Dumpy hotel in French Quarter but we were close to where we wanted to be. Lotsa fun wandering the area & soaking up the atmosphere, jazz, food, & begniets. Especially loved Preservation Hall jazz club, Hurricanes, and Dukes of Dixieland riverboat dinner cruise on Mississippi. Great fun for a few days but had to relocate to hotel west of NOLA when FQ hotel had small fire & we thought it not safe to stay. Swamp tour around town & bayou was supposed to go into swamp but it started raining & guide cancelled that part of the tour. He felt bad about that & invited us to dinner/party at his FQ apartment. That was fun & we got to meet some of the locals. Live alligator in bathtub was a surprise, don’t recall story about that.
I visited The Alamo in ‘79, pretty much had the place to myself. Did part of the River Walk in a paddle boat. Partied like it was 1999 at the Magic Time Machine. Looks like ya’ll had a great time.
We stayed off the I35 too. We stayed at the I35 RV Resort. Was really clean and very nice! The awesome thing about them though they served breakfast for free... yes Continental breakfast! It wasn’t just cereal and bengals. You actually orders a hot meal and they cooked it right there in front of you. It was awesome!
Hi y’all! Being born & raised in Austin, you’re right on about ATX traffic. Don’t blame you for heading to other areas. There are some really great bike roads/day trips close by if you decide to come back.
We will be going to Texas this weekend for a few days for a family wedding. Flying into Austin and doing all the wedding things over the weekend and spend a couple days sight seeing. My wife will be taking me to see the Alamo, the river ride tour, and a few more things, cause I ain't never been to Texas. Really excited about going. Thanks for all the things you showed on here. Be careful & stay safe.
Hey, we were at Bayou Segnette same time you were! My DH Bryan had the British accent. Sorry you were not feeling well, and we totally agree with you about NOLA. Glad we did it, not sure we'd go back.
We were stationed in Fort Worth for 8 years, and during that time my eldest daughter Irish danced competatively, so we were always at feisanna in Austen, San Antonio, and Houston and loved it!!
so sorry we missed you. thankyou for the beautiful video! we live in San Antonio and love it, well, 'cept for the summer temps. ;-]hope to see you on the road next year.
Loved the video of Austen and San Antonio, come on back in Jan and early Feb to Ft. WORTH FOR the historic Fat Stock show and Rodeo. Very historic town and show, cattle drives through the old part of town and stock yards area daily. The hill country is also very beautiful and interesting. Palo Verde cannon in the panhandle is fantastic. Just remember by June the temp is in the high 90's and it does not cool off until late Sept.
People in the pool in February are what we call Canadians, eh. Magnolia? Were you inspired to cover your RV in shiplap? When I flew domestic, Austin was one of my favorite layovers. Really fun town, especially Sixth St. Mmmm, beer. When I was going through Navy pilot training a million years ago, San Antonio was Nirvana compared to the booming metropolis of Beeville. Fun to see y'all with Phil & Stacy. Pirates of the Caribbean--priceless. Great episode. Thanks. Trying to catch up on your shows after three weeks of no connectivity in Wyoming and Montana.
Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Houston pretty much most major cities in TEXAS traffic is horrid. It can be 4am on a weekday and the traffic will be back to back but so happy you guys visited, wish I'd known, I would of drove up from Dallas 😥🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱
Great video and it is weird that the Alamo is right in town, when we saw it it almost felt like a re-creation of it for tourist instead of the real thing!! Safe travels!!
Excellent music choice for the Alamo. Love watching you guys, we are toy haulers too and there’s nothing better than exploring new places on two wheels. Except when traffic SUCKS 😣
Indeed! Too many nice places to ride to deal with the bad ones.. We've really enjoyed the national parks this summer on Lucille! Thanks for watching! Side safe!
Another great video. Very interesting visit to Chip and Joanne’s in Waco..That is on your list to visit. You should give NO another try. We enjoyed our visit New Years 2018/19. Thank you .
Not sure if you mean one like ours (same model), or ours ours... Here's a tour of ours if you haven't seen it: th-cam.com/video/naBT6x14J2c/w-d-xo.html
It was fun to watch this video! We were in the same area at the same time. We almost were able to make the meet up but were about four days behind you guys coming into Austin! Maybe next winter!!!
Great & Funny video!!! Next time you all are in the Huston area go see the San Jacinto Monument. It’s where Texas won it’s independence from Mexico during the Texas Revolution. There is lots to see & a ton of history so plan on spending an entire day. Thanks for sharing & safe travels
I am a native Texan and welcome you two. We have a lot to see and do. If you are here in September Round Top antique market . Austins real name is Waterloo So you will see that a lot . The Bob Bullet Museum is a must see . Barton Springs in Zilger Park. The Gardens are also in Zilger Park. The list goes on Have fun
We love watching all of your videos!!! So sad yall we sick when you came through Louisiana. Next time you come through I would recommend going to Toledo Bend. A couple of years ago we did a ride around the complete lake which took us some time and it was beautiful! Such a great ride.
RBF: hilarious :) Been watching for a long time. You're the best, love your humor and how 'real' you keep everything! Lots of moments where my girlfriend and I crack up watching you both. Back at Bailey's Campground in Maine how annoyed you both were with all the traffic behind you when you were (attempting) to do your commentary was priceless! We're very close to Bailey's now ourselves and can totally relate! Keep doing what you do :) Thanks for all your videos
Yep, they are doing their part of Keep Austin Weird. I wished you would have taken some of our lovely traffic with you but since you didn't I think we'll just sale our house hook on to our Solitude and hit the road.
Hey guys, Another inspiring video. My wife and I just took our first trip trip in a fifth wheel (not ours we had to rent, kinda our trial run). We learned so much, and that is after watching most of your videos. One major lessen learned is make sure your tires are up for the trip. Coming home we blew out two tires within an hour apart. We had one spare, needless to say the second was very expensive. Could you do a video about tires? Thank you so much for your inspiring videos, we look forward to each one. Vern Gauthier
You didn't want to drive your truck in downtown Austin. I get it. For the last six months of my work career, I drove (and parked) my Dodge 3500 diesel dually in downtown Milwaukee. My last day of work, I promised her I'd never take her downtown again. I 💓 retirement!
I'm curious to how you plan your travels. Do you plan to drive a certain distance with your rig, say around 200 miles more or less? What's the average time you want to spend driving your rig? Is there a better time to arrive at a park to get a good spot if you couldn't make reservations?
Hey Texas huh. ! Well that's where I went to Basic Training Lackland AFB FLT 476. ! Lol. And then Technical School at Shepard AFB. ! and when I was driving 18 wheeler was always going through Texas. So I don't ever want to see Texas again. 😁

The Alamo is at the center of a metro upward of 3 million people. San Antonio actually has more traffic volume than, Austin. And I know who the editor is 😂
I consider the videos like OnDemand. They are much better than tv. So having the library of topics is perfect. Keep up the great work!
Deep in the heart of Texas. My Grandma used to sing it to me all the time. Didn't know anyone else knew that song.
To be honest, we only know it from the Peewee Herman Movie... LOL Thanks for watching! 😊
Being a born and raised from TX I thought you guys did us proud. GOOD JOB!
One hundred or so people at a meet up, how awesome. You both are so fun to watch. Very cool that you hung out with Stacy and Phil. We enjoy your videos a lot. Take care and be safe!
I really enjoy it when you explain where you stayed for the rest of us to maybe stay there too!

Some great things to do around there, I grew up and went to school there. Hope you have a blast!

I love the comment about driving Lucille in Austin - I was down that way a few times on my Goldwing and skipped that area for just that reason;-)

Love the Seinfeld line!
I live in Taylor,tx 40mins from east of Austin tx I don't drive there because it so bad
I been to the Alamo, and the River Walk. ! While in Training but was in my Dress Blues ready to leave Texas. 😂
Hey.. at least it wasn't Navy dress blues! What a ridiculous uniform! LOL I can say this because I was forced to wear it. 13 buttons.. SMH... 🙄😊
We stayed at Lone Star RV park last year. Another great video. Safe travels. Chad did you use the Osmo for all that video?
Thanks, Juan! A lot of this was shot using the Ronin-S and 80D.
Love the video w/o all the rv stuff
Thanks, Dave! That's why we try to mix it up! 😊
Enjoyed the vid Chad and Tara! Even with me in it. :)
😂 Was great meeting you, JR!
good look at Texas, when it's hot down south do you ever make it up north? we have great things to see in Wisconsin
Wisconsin and the UP are definitely on the to-see list! Just not sure when... 👍🏼😊
Hope you guys get 100k subs this year🙏🙏🙏
Thanks! Getting close! 😀
I'm curious to how you plan your travels. Do you plan to drive a certain distance with your rig, say around 200 miles more or less? What's the average time you want to spend driving your rig? Is there a better time to arrive at a park to get a good spot if you couldn't make reservations?
Just so happens we made a video on just that topic a few weeks ago: th-cam.com/video/kvifp-Ldr2A/w-d-xo.html 👍🏼😊

Well that's where I went to Basic Training Lackland AFB FLT 476. ! Lol. And then Technical School at Shepard AFB. ! and when I was driving 18 wheeler was always going through Texas. So I don't ever want to see Texas again. 😁
OMG, that opening was a hoot! 😂 Thanks for sharing some cool things to do in Austin and San Antonio. Looks like you had a great time.
Keep Austin weird!!!! Love 6th Street!!!! Grew up in SE Texas. Love Central Texas.
my favorite 4 you tubers, great video, you guys made me want to visit Austin for sure. does Austin traffic really beat I-4 here in Tampa ? lol
Maybe not near Disney during season. LOL
you should have been in austin in march you could have seen the indycar, or go at the start of nov for f1 and yes austin traffic is bad austin has so much to offer including LBJ library
That’s Texas swimming in February
I'll bet the people in the pool in Austin February were Canadian.
How did you REALLY feel after the sound therapy? Was the experience truly explained as to what was happening?
I was doubtful that I would be able to fall into a meditative state. She briefly explained to me that I would hear a combination of different noises and the occasional verbal coaching/affirmation. I found myself relaxing and even falling into a state where my mind would shut off, but it would come and go. Apparently this is normal and totally fine, you just have to keep remembering to focus in breathing and the sounds. I actually felt peaceful and relaxed after that session. I haven’t been to another class, but I did purchase a meditation app that I continue to use. I liked it! 😃
The Alamo is at the center of a metro upward of 3 million people. San Antonio actually has more traffic volume than, Austin. Austin's trafffic woes has to do with the city only having one interstate running through town and S.A. having 5 interstates and much larger freeway network. Both cities are great places to visit San Antonio being the most visited city in Texas nearly 40 milliion annual visitors.
Makes sense... Thanks for watching! 😃
We have a class A we full time part of the year go home to our home in the Philippines the other half
Seems a little crowded there....Great videos though. How's the MPG with the Ford overall? Any dumb mechanical breakdowns etc?
No issues at all. Well.. had a slow leak in a valve stem... We get about 8.5 when towing.
Next time you’re in Austin, recommend Oak Forest RV Park, www.robertsresorts.com/resorts-locations/texas/oak-forest/stay-with-us. Real nice, quiet, not too far from downtown.
