I chuckled at you trying to be polite about the Roswell PF. I spent about a week in Roswell once and that PF still ranks as one of the worst I've been in. 😂 I'm such a slow traveler . . . I spent six weeks by Leadville, CO when it was hot everywhere else. You can explore more and spend less money on fuel when you go slow. I will say its taken me some time to adjust to slow travel though. At first it was hard to slow down so you might experience that too. I appreciate all the effort that goes into your videos. When people ask me why i don't have a TH-cam channel for my travels I tell them that is way more work and learning how to do it all than I am interested in And that it would detract from my enjoyment. So I totally get it. Put out videos when you feel like putting out videos you don't have to have any set timeline.
haha yeah it wasn't the best! But it got the job done! Leadville is clutch at that elevation! It's great to be a slow traveler. We're really hoping we can stick with it this year! Oh yeah New Mexico is known for its April windy season. We were there last year, also went to Roswell, same thing. We were traveling from Carlsbad Caverns to Great Sand Dunes, passing throwing Roswell and Santa Fe; the wind was miserable!

My daily routine includes Wordle, Spelling Bee, Letterboxed, and Connections - in that order - during my lunch break at work. Words with Friends is also a great go-to relaxing game for me that I love. Looking forward to your van life adventures again!!

So cool y’all get to do this. I didn’t get to traveling to all parts of the country til in my 50s and have experienced a lot of places with my daughter in last 5-6 yrs. Only couple weeks a year so have to cram as much as we can but able to sample a lot and see if there’s places I want to make returns to. And yall have helped me in your own way by some of your videos. Thanks. And enjoy life.

This sounds like a very smart strategy and all of us in the audience support you. My wife and I were talking after watching the video about how on old fashioned TV, shows have seasons and then there is a hiatus in between. I guess that might be hard to do with the YT algorithm but I hope you both find a way to be happy and refreshed! Also it was great to see Kona eating the bbq. That’s one happy dog.
We've had that same discussion as well and have thought about producing with that model. We've thrown around the idea of filming a lot over a month or two then letting that content play out over 3-5 months. Still could be a possibility in the future! Kona loved the bbq! Spoiled doggo! I've been retired for 4 years now and never once have I felt like I wanted to go back to work. It must be tiring indeed to feel like you always have to be "on." Hey guys so glad you're back! My husband and I did a huge road trip last year, from Florida to North Dakota etc. You inspired our road trip looking for the best coffee and donuts every place we went. This year we decided to "meander" around the south east USA and take our time.

Love how you're taking care of yourselves - burnout is real, but so is self-care!! My daily routine includes Wordle, Spelling Bee, Letterboxed, and Connections - in that order - during my lunch break at work. Words with Friends is also a great go-to relaxing game for me that I love. Looking forward to your van life adventures again!!

So cool y’all get to do this. I didn’t get to traveling to all parts of the country til in my 50s and have experienced a lot of places with my daughter in last 5-6 yrs. Only couple weeks a year so have to cram as much as we can but able to sample a lot and see if there’s places I want to make returns to. And yall have helped me in your own way by some of your videos. Thanks. And enjoy life.

This sounds like a very smart strategy and all of us in the audience support you. My wife and I were talking after watching the video about how on old fashioned TV, shows have seasons and then there is a hiatus in between. I guess that might be hard to do with the YT algorithm but I hope you both find a way to be happy and refreshed! Also it was great to see Kona eating the bbq. That’s one happy dog.
We've had that same discussion as well and have thought about producing with that model. We've thrown around the idea of filming a lot over a month or two then letting that content play out over 3-5 months. Still could be a possibility in the future!

Hey Guys, great that you're back on the road. Will miss the weekly updates but thanks for reminding us that there's more to life than just work. I've been retired for 4 years now and never once have I felt like I wanted to go back to work. It must be tiring indeed to feel like you always have to be "on." Like your idea of spending more time in a smaller local. Reminded of your time in southern Utah a few years ago.
