I am in tears. I’m from the East Coast. However, I lived in Prescott AZ for awhile many years ago. We would drive to Sedona often. Jerome has a very special place in my heart. I love how the art community has pumped life into Jerome over the past 15 years. It’s been almost 10 years since I drove up 89 through Jerome. I want to go ASAP! (Just need me a man with a Lucille!) Thank you so much for sharing your ride. I watched this video 3 times already. You are amazing!!!!
So many great comments I don't know how I can add to them. Love the longer videos, your cutaways discussing what is going on along with the narration you do. Wish I could give you more than one thumbs up.
Y’all have the best real life videos ever. I look forward to the email telling me y’all have uploaded a video. I love how you don’t sugar coat anything, you make it really believable, keep them coming
I love your video. But most of all I love how you guys take care of each other. When Tara said she was done on the ride it was “that’s ok it’s how we roll”. Such respect for both of you. Hope to see you on the road.
HEY guys !! I watched this new video before work, and I watched again in the evening ... LOVE LOVE LOVE Sedona, AZ ..... It IS "magical in all it's natural beauty !!!!! AWESOME job on the video footage, ... "Thank you" for posting such great, quality, footage for us all !! Be SAFE out on the road folks !!!
Jerome is such a cool place! We live here in AZ within a short driving distance of both Sedona and Jerome. One of the best places to eat in Jerome is the Haunted Hamburger. The view from their patio is amazing.
We love Arizona. We were there this past spring during Arizona Bike Week and got to do some great riding. Didn’t have the RV tho, we stayed with some friends in Mesa. Can’t wait to go back. Did some awesome hiking also. Another excellent video guys. Thanks
Sedona, Jerome and Oak Creek Canyon are my favorites...have been there many times over the past 25 years. 25 years ago it was not so commercialized...we stayed in Sedona on Me in Street at the Matterhorn. Did the Pink Jeep tour also....we also had a great guide! Awesome memories. Grand Canyon is breathtaking...looking forward to your next video!!
As a fellow chronic illness sufferer, I know how painful it must be to hold that camera up on your bike rides. Makes me appreciate your work so much more. Phil and I both think your rides are epic as well as your choice of music. On a different note, I love your hair and the new pony holder jewerly. Very pretty. We always look forward to your videos. Keep up the great work. PS.. our little dog doesn't get the concept of a dog park either. He just sits and looks at us 😂 so he gets his work out in the RV chasing the ball.
Wow haven’t thought of Jerome in 35 years ! My boss at the time his sister and brother in law (John and Mary) owned the house of Joy! Was a real brothel back in the day but they turned it into a restaurant! Had good food there when I was there! Y’all drove past it at7:17 on the right! Thanks for the memories! Glad y’all enjoyed your trip!
In 2017 my wife and I took our 5th wheel to Sedona. Your footage brought back a lot of good memories and one BAD for my wife. We drove about a mile and a half of the jeep trail you did. However, we were in our 2010 F250 SD. She said it was the worst day of her life, yes it's a little rough. 1.5 miles in we stopped at that big rock you can drive up on and were looking around when one of those pink jeeps came along and I asked the driver how much farther did the trail go. He laughed and said you don't want to take that truck any further, which made my wife very happy.
Yea... definitely need something with great clearance, short wheelbase, and 4WD! RZR would have been awesome.. We rented one in Moab which will be in a future video.. 👍🏼 😊
I absolutely loved this video. Would love to go to Arizona to see the Vortexes. That is the prettiest place I’ve ever seen. Tara, I bet you were so sore after that. Wow! You looked like a beautiful Barbie in your pink Jeep. 😊☀️
You had mentioned in an earlier video that you weren't particularly taken with the Southwest, so I was delighted to see that you really enjoyed the Sedona area. It truly is a beautiful region.
So glad you liked Sedona. Best motorcycle riding! We were just there yesterday. It’s about 2 hrs from our home. They just opened a new RV resort in Camp Verde. We checked it out yesterday. Really nice. Next time you visit.
I like this soundtrack. Yeah Sedona is beautiful. My husband and I did Eastern Arizona a couple years back for his 50th birthday. Made Flagstaff our base camp and hiked all over. Antelope Canyon was the most astounding place. Grand Canyon was excellent too.
as a Vulcan rider im glad to see both of you wearing helmets and protective gear when riding. please continue we all want you around for a long time. hope to ride with you all one day. my girl is named Serenity. im sure you will understand why.
Yes a special place, wore out seat of pants sliding down Slide Rock. Have been binge watching and reading all you vids and blogs, just got a 20' trailer and setting it up. Thanks guys.
My heart always starts racing when I see the “twisties” sign. Love taking the cruisers into the mountains. And The Dragon is my home turf. Glad you’ve had a chance to slay it too. Another awesome video. I subscribe to 8 RV channels but yours is my favorite.
*wow.....you can't help the "3 hour tour" shot when it is lobbed to you........that asylum was interesting.....funny thing...off roading is always bumpy...your videos rock.............thanks for sharing........*
New subscriber here. I worked in Sedona as a delivery person for 3 years and it was an awesome day each day! This was back in the 90’s. I haven’t been back since then. I knew all the restaurant and hotel owners and always got offered free rooms or food.
Never knew Jerome was haunted. It did have an energy that I felt was fun loving & steadfast. However, we stayed in Sedona and rode motorcycles west to Jerome south east to a zoo, north to Flagstaff and back to Sedona. The entire time black cloud was on our tail. We did not get rained on. Thanks for sharing - stirred up great memories.
Great video. Next trip to the area, take the Verde Canyon train ride out of Cottonwood. It makes as nice rest day with great views. Spring for the first class car.
Those are some great curves! If you ever get to Idaho, take highway 12 across the panhandle from Missoula MT to Lewiston Idaho. There are several of those signs that warn about curves, and one of them is a curve warning sign with the following words added, "for the next 96 miles". That is one sweet ride.
So nice that you got to Sedona., and I was thrilled to see you took in Jerome. As much as I like Sedona, I have a special place in my heart for Jerome. The Spirit Room is the best... great music and drinks. Mile High Band B is fantastic too and the breakfast is the best n town. The view from the Asylum is great at night and they have a pretty good selection of scotch. Happy travels. (Don't forget San DIego and the awesome burger that awaits)
We visited Sadona and Jerome in 2019 what a fantastic trip it was. We also did the Pink Jeep Tour same one as you. It was quite the rocky road with beautiful views. Also, we took the train ride in Verde that was more relaxing and enjoyable than the Pink Jeep Tour and not so jarring. I just love the Sedona area!
Beautiful drives without a doubt. We will probably be doing AZ and NM in Jan and know we won't get to see a lot of their pretty areas that first go through. Great edits, music choices, cutaways etc. I have always liked your videos but I see all that time you're putting in and the year on the road giving you more skill with the editing. Thanks for sharing it with us!
Great overview of this very special area! We usually stay at Dead Horse Ranch State park campground in Cottonwood. It's a short hop to Jerome and Sedona. We like using 89A going into the Sedona area to avoid the downtown traffic. the Tuzigoot Indian ruins are interesting and it isn't very far to Montezuma Castle cliff dwellings. You could spend a month in the area and still not see everything!
Cool video! Reminds me of a time back in 1995 when I bought a new Harley and rode from Kentucky to California, went through 89A which is a nice ride except when I had an O S*** moment. Making hairpin turn when my front tire and a palm size rock got introduced (watch out for the rocks as Tara mentions). Luckily the spirits were on my side and my brand new Harley made it intact to California. Have to go back and take my time as you guys did. Thanks again for another great video!
you guys are cute and big fun. great 'spending time' with you both again! Hope my wife and I can connect with you guys in ATL somewhere down the road... would love to buy you guys dinner! The invite is out there!! Safe travels. bg
Sedona is one of my very favorite places to go. I have also been on those switchbacks on the way to Jerome. There were places we could not visit while there because of young grands with us. Thanks for sharing your bike trip there.
In the 80's you could go up there and park right on the 'lookout'! (and drink a few). Now it's always crowded AF up there w tourists and apparantly Sedona has decided to make some money off of it. Progress. sigh. At least I got to see it a few times before it got super touristy.
What a great video, have always want to go to Sedona and Jerome AZ. Only live 375 miles from Camp Verde. Have stayed two month summer of 2016 in motorhome at Heber-Overguarrd, AZ. AZ has some beautiful places as does Utah. We usually stay summer months between Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park, at rv park at 7400'.
Thanks for doing this one and of course all the others. We leave Reno on 10/16/2019 in our 5ver heading to our winter home near Arizona City. Our 2nd stop, 10/18/2019 is at Verde River RV Resort and Cottages where we meet up with friends (a couple) and stay 2 weeks before heading further South. Your video was awesome and gives us some 'pointers' where to visit. Safe travel and keep the vids coming.
Love your show. You missed the best places to see around Sedona though. You need to visit the guides at the adventure store called, Sedona Trail Zen. They will guide you to the absolute best Sedona has to offer and show you secrets about the area that will blow you away. You'll have to come back! There's so much better to see than what you saw.
We drove a lot of Hwy 89 and 89 A last year. Went through Jerome and hated we didn't get to stop as we went south then towards Sedona. Didn't get any vortex vibes. Love you 2 youngsters! Take care, have fun, be safe! We only went out west for our 50th wedding anniversary. Grand Canyon was next!!
We stayed in the Grand Jerome Hotel prior to its refurbishing some years ago. It was a wonderful experience. We looked for ghosts, but did not see or feel any. In Sedona, we stayed at the motel on top of the mountain next to the airport (I forget the name.) The airport restaurant used to be quaint, but on our last trip it has become expensive and like what I would expect in L.A. Not my style. We have ridden the H.D. to AZ from Virginia Beach many times. We love it out there!
I camped there with my parents in a truck camper in the early 1970s when there were only a couple abandoned buildings just starting to be occupied by hippie artists. The hotel then was entirely empty then because no one dared stay inside overnight. We visited often for several years until it became very touristy. Great video guys! Can't wait to go again, haven't been to Jerome since 1979! It will be fun to share photos from the 70s to how it looks when we visit again.
@@ChangingLanes I had relatives that lived in Sedona so we visited the area often. Your video inspires me to use some of my old photos as part of a YT story about our next visit. We will begin full-time travel in January; heading south and then west from Lancaster, PA! Looking forward to spending time in the southwest again. -GG
Now I really want to go back to Sedona and Jerome. And luckily it is not that far from me only a state away. My wife has never been there I guess now that I retired I need to take her to some places. Looking forward to see what you guys did in Utah since my home is there.
Sedona is Awesome, We were their last March, those Pink Jeeps are everywhere, that first road was schnebly hill, we camped up the top of that road in the forest and drove down into Sedona each day. We were driving our RZR's and we came up to a lot of Pink Jeeps, there is no comparison between the suspension of a RZR and a jeep. They were getting beat to death and we were drinking our cokes. Broken Arrow was a blast! We are heading back there next month to do some more off roading.
We chose to rent a 4 seater Razor instead of the Pink Jeep tour and we were so happy that we did! We had our 2 grown sons with us so after driving for a little bit we let them chauffeur us for the next 3 hours! Great day!
Thank you SO MUCH for this beautiful video. Sedona is the "main" destination for our roadtrip next year. The town, Pink Jeep tour and Railroad ride already on the things planned, but now I have to add Jerome and the VORTEXES! Woot Woot. Oh and btw when one is in/near vortexes look for spiralling/twisting tree trunks and bushes that seam to have "odd" angles to branches. Those are closer to the healing/special feeling centers of them. Safe Travels, Hugs and Luvs. Susan&Karen
You're motorcycle rides remind me of when my wife & I use to ride to different locations ourselves...some 40 years ago! We've been to Sedona twice, stayed in a RV park in town one time, and the other time we just drove through the town, thus decided to return! Jerome....being large with our RV, and no where to park, we've been through Jerome twice, but had no other transportation, so we've missed out on all the touristy things to do there. We where up to the chapel as well, and walked by the 'Pink Jeep' location while there last time! We do have quads/atv's so we've been to Moab Utah 4 times, and your Pink Jeep tour looked much like what we saw there, as well as the Ancestral Puebloan Ruins, but you most certainly need a way to get out to see them (used our quads) but we've seen them in many locations there, and of course have been the highlight of our trips there! Love your video's, as you two are naturals at both the video (without the squashed bugs) and editing, and so thankful I came upon it! I see I've always subscribed, as I've seen a few past video's you've done, and appreciate you sharing your adventures with us!
Hey guys just found your channel. Really enjoyed your video. You were in my backyard sort of. The first part of the jeep tour took you up Schnebly Hill RD. And yes it is very rocky. I have ridden up it a couple of times on my motorcycle and it seems to get worse each year. Yes you pronounced Tlaquepaque correctly. I hope you got to ride through Oak Creek Canyon from Sedona to Flagstaff. It is also a gorgeous ride. I am now a subscriber and look forward to more fun videos
Hey guys, I can't say thank you enough for this particular video, as it brought back so many pleasant memories of my motorcycle trips (more than 50) along 89a from Flag to Prescott Valley where my father lived. The one part of it that road you appeared to have missed is actually the best. That would be from Sedona up through Oak Creek Canyon to the rest area at the top. But then that means you can go back in the future and give it a shot, just don't take the Momentum down through as it will definitely raise the "pucker-power" 110 fold. Anyway, as Bob Hope you to say..."Thanks for the memories." Be safe, have fun, & happy camping. v/r, TS Denver, CO

Can't wait to go again, haven't been to Jerome since 1979! It will be fun to share photos from the 70s to how it looks when we visit again.
Oh man! We would love to have seen Jerome during that time!
-GG
Great video! After watching this I want to go to Sedona more than ever!
Tara driving the pink jeep would have been epic!
Now I really want to go back to Sedona and Jerome. And luckily it is not that far from me only a state away. My wife has never been there I guess now that I retired I need to take her to some places. Looking forward to see what you guys did in Utah since my home is there.
Great job with the video. Beautiful area.
Great video. An amazing ride from Flagstaff down through the Oak Creek Canyon if you can. Huge drop in elevation.
Wow, so incredible!
We rented a RZR in Moab and, you're right! Much better ride! 👍🏼
We chose to rent a 4 seater Razor instead of the Pink Jeep tour and we were so happy that we did! We had our 2 grown sons with us so after driving for a little bit we let them chauffeur us for the next 3 hours! Great day!
We did the same thing in Moab! What a blast!
You Guys are just awesome!!
1st comment! Amazed at the stabilization on the Pink Jeep ride. Was that the Osmo?
I was holding the Osmo pocket and Tara had the Hero 7 in the Karma Grip! 👍🏼 😊
Page springs have a nice rv park with shade
Thank you SO MUCH for this beautiful video. Sedona is the "main" destination for our roadtrip next year. The town, Pink Jeep tour and Railroad ride already on the things planned, but now I have to add Jerome and the VORTEXES! Woot Woot. Oh and btw when one is in/near vortexes look for spiralling/twisting tree trunks and bushes that seam to have "odd" angles to branches. Those are closer to the healing/special feeling centers of them. Safe Travels, Hugs and Luvs. Susan&Karen
Interesting on the trees.... Will look for that next time! 👍🏼 😊
Thanks for watching, Dale! 😊 We rent a Rzr in our upcoming video in Moab... That was FUN! 👍🏼 😊
We enjoy watching your videos.
Welcome to our channel, Kevin! Thanks for following our adventures! 😊
Indeed! Something to see / ride next time! 👍🏼 😊
The vortecs' will feed your souls............ : D
