You sold me! I have the Silhouette Cameo and wasn't sure I really needed a Big Shot, but kept looking at it. The Evolution looks so much easier and includes the letterpress which should be fun. I can't wait to try this new machine! ETA June 18th.

So lucky this went on sale @ HSN right after my Bigshot broke. Very excited. Hoping this will be much easier than trying to figure configurations and ways to shim those intricate dies. Decided to order the auto-ship, looked like a good deal too.

I found your unboxing very interesting and illuminating, and I was considering it - I have a cuttlebug but am thinking about upgrading and have decided on the new one from Cheery Lynn Designs (Crossover Machine) which has an 8 and a quarter inch opening (I think) .. after googling this, I found this machine has a 6 inch opening like my cuttlebug. Thank you though for the information, looks like a cool machine.

Maybe I'm losing my mind, but when I received my Evolution order from HSN I did not get the Genius Magnetic Set! Did everyone else get this? If so then I need to contact HSN and find out where mine is!
Question: When I was watching the HSN demo on youtube, prior to it going on sale, she said there was an option to buy a motor that attaches to the side instead of using the crank. Do you know about this? This is why I bought the eBosser but that guy is way too heavy!

Hey I was wondering. I got this machine for my birthday in September. And I had never used any other die cutting machine before besides my cricut. And I am kind of lost as the best way to use this? I have the letter pressing and embossing down pretty well. But the die cutting is what I am having trouble with. I keep cutting into my platform and sometimes it takes a few times to cut through paper. I was wondering if you could do a video about using this machine and tips in using it? I really enjoy your videos.
What's the point of the magnetic thing if you cant do fancy cuts on your paper because you have to cut with the paper on top of the die? You can't see what you're cutting if you do that.
My die cutting doesn't work right either, it shouldn't take more than one try, that is a waste of paper. I do hep someone does a video, mine didn't come with an A plate.

what other die can you use beside what they say on the box? I like to use Tim Holtz die,mover and shaper.
