One of the most heartbreaking instrumental songs I've ever heard. I can't even begin to tell all the memories it brings me, and how special this whole show is. I was never invested in a show before like I am with Stranger Things. It was the first time ever that a show really talked to me like it was made specially for me. I really mean it, I watched many Pixar and Ghibli movies, Requiem for a Dream, Ladybird, classic Disney movies, Marley and I, but nothing ever spoke directly to me like Stranger Things. I'll never forget those characters and what they mean to my life. I'll never forget how that show literally saved me, how it saved me from depression and suicidal thoughts. I know it's just a show like any other, I know that, but it will always be special to me.

I remember hearing this in season 2 when Nancy gets sad about Barbara’s parents not knowing what really happened to her and how she has to sit there with them having a meal and she’s not there anymore like they did when they were kids she didn’t just lose a best friend she lost a sister someone she did literally everything with and everyday since she pushed Barbara away that night she’s regretted that moment since and it’s always been in the back of her head and to see vecna play on that heart string was an incredible detail because he’s always been there from the beginning pulling the strings

There’s just so many moments in this show that encapsulate the sadness of growing up and apart from your friends. The more we try and fight it the more we are stuck like a rock in a river just trying to resist the ineviteable.
I’ve listened to this song in my darkest moments of grief & sadness but I’ve also listened to it through periods of contentment, happiness and gratitude. Now, I use this song as a reminder to pause and remember however I am feeling at this point, It will be okay. And You will be okay. We’re all on the same path, we’re just at different points of the journey.

This is one of the best pieces of music I've ever heard, definitely my favorite from the whole show. It makes me cry every time I hear it. It feels like longing and grief. It reminds me of the feeling where you're at the brink of sadness, where you're just so upset and it hurts so bad and you don't know what to do. You can't stop it, you can't make it less painful, you just have to sit in it and hope you can fall asleep before it kills you. That's what I think about when I hear this song. It's a masterpiece.

Honestly, after hearing someone say to me(after I asked for their number since I had a crush on them) on the day that I graduated high school that I shouldn’t really keep in contact with friends from high school, and looking back on that moment, having 0 friends since I started high school, and then hearing this at 11 at night.
