Eduardo laughing in the pizza shop is funnier than what they showed. He recently visited my college (Iowa State University), and talked about his life as an actor, some of his roles, Stranger Things, etc. At one point he was asked "Was there a moment on set of ST that made you laugh so hard you couldn't stop?" To which he responded with the scene of El in the cooler at Surfer Boy's Pizza. He said that Milly couldn't hear anyone else during the scene because of the water in her ears. So whenever someone would shout "CUT!" she would keep going with her lines, and movements. It made Eduardo laugh so hard that anytime they were actually doing the scene, he couldn't make eye contact with anyone, otherwise he'd start laughing. I wish these bloopers showed more of that moment.

I was doing a laugh out loud on that section. 😂 That was about the point in the entire thing, where I needed to grab a napkin that I happen to have on my table and wipe the tears away from my eyes from how much I had been laughing so far. 😂

The facial movements are so natural and translate so well, so that it doesn’t look like makeup/prosthetics/costume I’m general. It looks so real, so it’s so weird seeing him laughing or smiling.
