What a wonderful teacher you are Dr. Berg! I just bought one of your books! It is never too late to improve one's health. My Aunt Jane was 65 when she was told she had cancer and underwent a mastectomy. After that she completely changed her life and quit smoking, quit drinking her nightly scotch, started eating fish every day, and took up hiking. She hiked throughout the U.S., Europe, and Japan. into her 80s and 90s. We just buried our wonderful aunt at 105 years old! The day she died my brother took her out for a milkshake at her request. She was happy, she said goodbye saying she was tired from the outing and desired to nap. She fell asleep and went to Heaven. She would have loved your Dr. Berg♥

      Meaning ?
Bacteria, fungi, parasites & the hypothetical virus are always a pathogen ?
That assault the immune system & cause illness expressed by symptoms ?
That some people are more prone as they are weaker genetically so their immunity is impaired ?
So we should protect them more with drugs & other devices ?
Well, we were all taught that.
Now we look at this rather rigid , inflexible & straight pathway in a different light & see far more possibilities of other mechanisms that were not discussed .

I have been dead so many times. My immune system was severely compromised by the time I was 12 years old. I was raised on Formula as a baby which doctors now say does not support our baby-immune system like a mother's milk. My childhood diet was a lot of sugar with few veggies but with enough meat-protein. Over many years, through realizing that food IS a medicine, I have been able to strengthen my immune system. Raw garlic most every day, chewed with water on an empty stomach. Turmeric, Cayenne Pepper, lots of raw veggies, no alcohol, no smoking, exercise, laughter and lots of fresh air. This, after finally calling out to Christ by 30 yo to please enlightenment me with clarity about how to live healthfully. I live one hour at a time. I work full-time. I listen to my body every day. Thank you, Dr. Berg, for your very helpful videos! USA

Here is a list of how often various organs and tissues in the human body replace or regenerate themselves:
      Skin: Every 2-3 weeks.
      Liver: Every 150-500 days.
      Stomach lining: Every 2-9 days.
      Intestinal lining: Every 2-3 days.
Red blood cells: Every 120 days.
      Bone: Every 10 years.
      Fat cells: Every 8 years.
Heart muscle cells: Every 20 years.
Neurons in the cerebral cortex: Generally, these do not regenerate and stay with us from birth.
You are not the same person as when you were born and struggling with the same problems if you have taken steps to change your health.

Several strategies to strengthen the immune system are highlighted, including:
    1. Vitamin D: Essential for immune function, particularly the form derived from sunlight. A daily intake of 10,000 IUs is recommended.
    2. Zinc: Helps prevent viral reproduction and supports immune health.
    3. Vitamin C: Found in foods like raw sauerkraut, important for immune strength.
    4. Sleep: Seven to eight hours of sleep are necessary for optimal immune function.
    5. Stress reduction: Managing stress is crucial, as cortisol weakens the immune system.
    6. Garlic, elderberry, intermittent fasting, and magnesium**: These are natural ways to boost immune function, with magnesium shown to increase killer T-cells.

Best advice I ever got was to drink warm clear liquids when sick. Cold liquids won’t allow you to get better. Now right when I feel like I’m getting sick I start drinking nothing but warm liquids including warm water throughout the day. Not only are the symptoms less but the duration is cut in half or more. Sometimes I’ve even avoided major symptoms altogether and been back to normal within a day or two!!!

@@jeanpaultongeren125 I have adjusted my diet to be more healthy. The largest staying healthy regime is avoiding viruses. I am 77 with the male genetic asthmatic respiratory system who has been plagued by respiratory diseases my entire life. When Covid first hit I investigated masks and found none are functional and affordable. Using HEPA vacuum reusable vacuum cleaner bags which stop everything 0.030 microns and larger I built a mouth and nose enclosing face mask for my safety. It can easily be replicated at home. Find online a simple plastic face hugging filter mask. Carefully remove the useless filter material and use it as a template to cut a new one from a Hoover Platinum Series HEPA liner bag (two to a box). Simply use squeeze tube silicone to adhere it to the plastic mask. This provides more protection from all airborne viruses. Using this mask out in public spaces I have avoided all respiratory illnesses for 3 years for the first time in my life.

Нещодавно, признаюсь, я їла багато морозива влітку, і знову одразу почало назрівати запалення на губі минулого тижня... Але один день голодування і всьо - герпес не зміг вилізти і почервоніння просто зникло.

My sister on the other hand never played outside and her immune system is garbage. She's always getting sick and her allergies always act up. Those younger, developing years are so important for your immune system.

I believe that as well. From the time I could walk until the age of 17 when I got a job in an office, I was outside all the time. I played in the dirt as a kid, rode my bike, anything physical. I was never sick as a kid. Besides chicken pox, I don't remember ever being sick. I truly believe in the power of the sun and the soil, especially from a young age.

Are you ready to face your Lord, who has created you and everything there is? Have you fulfilled his right of worshipping him alone with no partners? Have you followed the messenger Muhammad peace be upon him that he has sent, and the divine revelation, the Quran, that he has come with? Or have you turned around and arrogantly rejected the divine message? Turn back to your Lord, your Creator, now, today, before there comes a time where regret is of no use.

Fever is very important….when every I was sick with a cold, coughing, sore throat and running a fever, my mom would place me on the living room couch with a thick down-feather blanket so I would be extra warm, and would place a warm-hot garlic compress around my neck; my dad then would give me a “snaps” -German whiskey-in a small shot-glass-and I had to drink it in one gulp. It put me to sleep. Waking up the next morning, my fever and cold was gone.

Fortunately, I was a breast fed baby, in the 50's. Yet my good gut bacteria was pretty much destroyed by the fact that I was on penicillin for the first 6 months of my life. I was born 6 weeks early, when my mom was traumatized by her 21 year old brother (a Navy Medic in Korea), was hit by shrapnel & died. My trachea had not yet, fully developed & since I was born near the end of October, in Michigan, they were worried, that my life was in jeopardy, without it. That was in 1950. Then, I married my first husband, a Golf Course Superintendent & lived on the Country Club golf course & lived in the middle of of all of that toxicity. I was also a dental assistant, working with silver amalgam fillings, that were loaded with mercury, which I had to roll between my fingers, in a little piece of cotton fabric. I've struggled with auto immune issues, my entire life.

Food nutrition has captured my attention as to how it helps us to get rid of harmful metals and more. I live in a state of prayer for enlightenment about WHAT to eat and WHAT to avoid. It is a daily challenge for so many of us. I hope you are having a good week!

I started eating 2 brazil nuts a day last year and also added dark chocolate, Greek yogurt, extra mature cheddar, green tea, seaweed, black pepper and Himalayan salt. This year I've switched to sprouted grain sourdough bread as I'm trying to get away from ultra processed foods. I've found concentrating on adding or switching to good foods has helped me a lot rather than banning foods outright. These days I'm naturally just wanting to avoid the bad stuff so it doesn't feel like a punishment anymore. This week I've just bought fresh pineapple, kiwi fruit and nectarines to get a vitamin C boost now that the weather is turning colder.

@@18_rabbit Germ Theory alleges that bacteria, fungi, parasites, and virus are the cause of most if not all disease. While Terrain Theory alleges that it's the environment that makes us sick, not germs or viruses. From this point of view, microorganisms are janitors that live in symbiosis with the body and help clean up dead tissue that results from industrial toxicity. So for example candida is a fungal infection according to Germ Theory. In Terrain Theory, candida is a fungal based detoxification that gets rid of sugar damaged/dead tissue, and is viewed as a good thing - because the body is cleaning itself with the help of fungi. A cold is a bacterial infection according to Germ Theory, in Terrain Theory it is a bacterial based detoxification where bacteria breaks down dead tissue, toxins, and other waste-products and gets rid of it through mucous. Toxins bioaccumulate in our cells and the body will need to get rid of it through colds, flus, etc, which it typically will do seasonally.

In 2003 SARS came to Hong Kong. One of the first people to succumb was a 28yo local doctor. I guess he was raised in a sterile environment. An immune system that was never challenged. He died of a cytokine storm as his body over reacted to the threat. It reminded me of the old movie “Andromeda Strain”

Virus theory as causation for illness has never held up for my way of thinking. I relate with Terrain Theory much more.
Terrain Theory makes a lot more sense in my mind and is easier to implement into my natural health lifestyle.

Reading a few comments I would like to share my experience. 3 years ago after taking a covid shot! I was diagnosed with AML but had none of the symptoms, not one, just zero white blood cells. Well the chemo to kill the AML was brutal and left barely alive, 6 months trying to eat healthy I had a stem cell transplant which involved another major dose of chemo, so back in a wheelchair unable to stand or walk the transplant was successful. 1 year down the line I’m ok but not great, immune suppressed I have to be very careful! Well I decided to go carnivore, stopped taking my lifelong meds and absolutely refused any more vaccines. The difference has been like a light switch, I am so so much better, eventually got COVID but it passed in 4 days and I am starting to feel like myself again, strength, weight, hair, unbelievable! Please tell me which medication is responsible as I don’t take any which I know was very irresponsible after the transplant but I’m now listening to my body and it’s worked for me so far. Just wanted to share that. Keep strong everyone!

whoa! glad u are healing but after stem cell transplant u must take those med's! That's a no brainer!! That is severely irrationally risky and from what i recall about that disease and the transplant, u could end up in really bad shape or worse. When it comes to chemo and stem cells etc, it's a delicate process and any doctor would be reasonable in ceasing care if u stop taking the meds related to the stem cell transplant. Do not be your own physician with this stuff unless u also have the level of knowledge the MD has who did your care! THINK!
