Raw milk for the win! People have been drinking raw milk straight from their cows, sheep, and goats for millennia. Raw milk has long been one of the most nutritionally-complete foods in the human diet and an integral component of nearly every culture’s cuisine. In today's super-sanitized, germophobic and technologically advanced world, raw milk is irrationally demonized for various reasons. Dairy, especially cow dairy, can indeed be problematic for a lot of people. However, dairy derived from goats, sheep, or buffalo is much more gut- and immune-friendly due to the chemical structure of casein (milk protein) it contains. On top of that, many individuals who normally are lactose intolerant often find that they can tolerate raw milk just fine. These people actually have a pasteurization intolerance, not a lactose intolerance. A reason that this happens is that raw milk naturally contains the enzyme lactase and specific probiotic species, like Lactococcus, Lactobacillus, Leuconostoc, Streptococcus and Enterococcus which break down lactose, a disaccharide found in milk, into galactose and glucose, which are digestible, simple sugars. Raw milk has for decades been well-regarded in health circles due to its unique health-promoting benefits: • Raw milk provides readily-available nutritional elements our body needs for repair and regeneration, including easily-assimilable proteins and fats in their whole, unprocessed, unadulterated form. • The fatty acids in raw milk nourish the brain and intestinal lining, and upregulate mitochondrial function. Mitochondria are membrane-bound cell organelles that generate most of the chemical energy needed to power the cell's biochemical reactions. • Raw milk contains the enzyme phosphatase and other crucial enzymes necessary for the complete absorption of calcium, which are not present in pasteurized milk. That's why some research papers (falsely) link dairy consumption with the onset, rather than the prevention, of osteoporosis. • Naturally occurring beneficial bacteria (probiotics) in raw milk carry amazing benefits for our gut, immune and digestive health. • Raw milk is a perfect source of unheated, unoxidized cholesterol, fatty acids, and non-denatured proteins. Protein denaturing or protein denaturation is a change in the chemical structure of protein that occurs due to chemical effects. The most common source of protein denaturing is heat application, as happens in pasteurization and cooking. • Raw milk is nature's perfect electrolyte drink. It contains large amounts of organic minerals, which nourish the body's organs, glands and tissues, provide intracellular hydration and optimize brain function. • Colostrum (first mammal's milk after birth), but raw milk as well, contain immunoglobulins / antibodies, and complement factors that upregulate immune function and provide major antimicrobial effects against a wide range of pathogens. • People with bone-related conditions, like bone spurs, osteopenia and osteoporosis, notice their condition significantly improving or completely disappearing after a few months of daily ingestion of fresh, raw milk. Alcohol and cigarettes are fine examples, but an even better example of inconsistent safety regulations is the sale of raw meat. No one stops people from buying raw steak and eating that, but they are willing to use the power of the state to stop people from buying other raw animal products.
Good point, and if you want to go further - raw chicken which is never safe to consume is so easy to come by. It’s almost like they don’t respect our agency or autonomy, or right to make our own decisions.
I love raw milk! I've always been a fan of milk anyway, but raw milk is another level. My skin feels amazing, I feel incredibly nourished, and it tastes amazing! I'm lucky to have access to raw milk from Jersey Cows at a local farm here in the UK. If anyone is interested, I source it from Wayside Farm in Kings Langley which is situated between Watford and Hemel Hempstead.
I think you got that wrong about Texas. I can confirm that you can buy raw milk direct from the farm. Becoming a member of a raw milk club or food co-op is not required. But laws change all the time, so... I could be wrong today.

Me and my wife have been drinking raw milk. Raw cream eating fertilized chicken and duck eggs that have a natural diet of bugs and everything else in the wild. Red meat and lots of butter also. Huge difference in quality of life. Thank u brother 🙏
Oh dear, I'm so happy to live in Germany. The milk in the supermarkets is natural, apart from being heated for a short time. Raw milk is perfectly acceptable. I get my milk directly from the farm. There is often a milk vending machine with returnable bottles from which you can get completely untreated milk. You can easily make cheese, yogurt and kefir with it. Wonderful stuff.
May I ask where you live and where you get milk in California… I live in Las Vegas and wouldn’t mind going to Cali to get the milk but I i’m not even sure where to look
Living in a village I have unlimited access to raw milk. I started with goat milk, but now I am OK with cow milk which is inexpensive. It is a lot better than meat when it comes to electrolytes, and as such it cuts down my consumption of fruits, which have too much sugar for me. It really helps digestion so I drink it at every meal (I do OMAD, so once a day, about half liter). I do prefer to have also a bit of kefir every now and again, typically for evening snack (fruit, cheese, kefir), even if it is from the store and therefore from pasteurized milk.
Modern fruits are too sweet with some being too high in fructose agree. Lactose in milk is a much better option being lower in the glycemic index and much more bioavailable electrolytes, better than meats as you stated
Get my raw milk straight from the farm in the UK but illegal here, so the farmer sells it with not fit for human consumption sticker on it. I am going to make butter next
Just started drinking it, bought some at Sprouts Market in San Diego. It's absolutely delicious.......but cost $17 a gallon!!!! Guess you gotta do what you gotta do. Oh, and the kefir I made with it is soooo good!
Raw milk is sold in Naples FL at “Food & Thought 1” & “2” & probably at parent store “Seed to Table” It is labelled “not for human consumption””for livestock supplementation” or some such wording. However it sells out very quickly when they get it in. Nearly as good and even better tasting is the “low-temp pasteurized” organic cream-top whole milk. “Beyond Delicious” However it is much more expensive than regular milk, but well worth it IMHO!
Unfortunately can't buy raw milk in my state, asked about it and everyone says it's illegal because it can kill you. So weird since people used to drink raw milk forever until everything became industrialized.
$13 gallon is actually quite reasonable. In my travel I found it spiking to $20 a gallon in the pacific north west, cheapest I found was $11 in NM. some places you can only buy at the half gallon size ranging from $8-11 a half gallon. Nearly impossible to acquire raw milk in some places (Colorado...). Nice that California you can purchase in a store! Can't do that in Oregon.
@@cirozorro $20/gallon, yikes! While it's legal here, it's not readily available. Only a few places carry it locally, I get mine at a Korean Market. They also have raw goat's milk. Both in 1/2 & 1 gallon jugs. Often times sold out.
It baffles me that alcohol and cigarettes can be legally purchased everywhere but not raw milk.. because it might potentially make you sick…

I grew up drinking raw milk everyday of my life. We always had a milk cow and my parents raised 6 kids on it. We never got sick from the raw milk and in fact, none of us ever had any serious sickness at all. I miss those days..
California doesn’t let us have gas vehicles and tools or firearms but they let us have raw milk 😂😂
for people whom scares other that they have to avoid meat/eggs & raw dairy because of the bacteria, please blame it on the antibiotic industery!
It also tastes amazing!
I think you got that wrong about Texas. I can confirm that you can buy raw milk direct from the farm. Becoming a member of a raw milk club or food co-op is not required. But laws change all the time, so... I could be wrong today.
So thankful we have our own cows.
The Amish figured it out
I milk 2 jerseys. Many states have allowed raw milk sales now. Some are only allowed via Herdshare but several states now allow raw milk sales on the farm. Thank you for touching on this!!
I am interested to know what you think about consuming egg shells for calcium and other minerals in them 🤔
Why in the world is it legal to sell cigarettes and alcohol, but not raw milk? Such a backwards way of regulating the market
ReguIation is the probIem, most of the time it's industry and government seeking controI.
signed up for a dairy co op here in VA and get 1.5 gallons and two cartons of pasture raised , organic eggs per week. It's so worth it for us.
In Sydney, there is Raw Milk, which is now legally sold by a brand who have patented technology and can cold press their milk so not to disturb the nutritional value
We should be able to biy from small business farms. They will make sure of proper sanitation
How does the Canadian government get away with making this illegal?
You can live on it so it has to be made illegal.
Raw milk is illegal but they give out prescription drugs like candy

Thanks Dr. Paul!
Your information about detergents and chemicals in dishwashing soap and the negative affects on gut health and subsequently food allergies has been a game changer in my life!
It has basically removed the reactions I would get from eating any of the Top 8 food allergens and so far, I'm doing great!
We found a raw milk grass fed dairy just a few minutes drive away and are now embarking on the raw milk path.
Thank you Carnivore MD‼️
Raw A2A2 is the bomb!
Does getting raw butter matter if you’re already gonna heat it up to cook with? Would it be the same to just get grass fed butter to cook with?
Old comment but you wouldn't cook with raw butter.
@@bennyboy776
Because raw butter is too precious to be used in cooking?
I just found out about raw milk and discovered it is totally illegal in Scotland where I live.

Sprouts sells raw kefir now. But if you read the label, it says in reallllly small print it’s for PET food as a topper only.
Hi Paul, love your videos as always! I'm in Australia which is a bit of a nanny country. It annoys me I can't buy raw dairy at all as it is illegal. I need to try and make friends with dairy farmers.
Bit of a nanny country that's an understatement. They had covid internment camps for their citizens
@@821lancevance like the us is any better 😂😂
@Jp-do9ny we didn't have covid internment camps so yeah its better
@@821lancevance We wouId have if we didn't have A2, and not the miIk type.
Cigarettes, junk food and alcohol a legal but raw milk isn't?
Any idea how I can get some raw milk in Canada? Am I gonna have to buy a cow?
Part of why I moved to where I live now so I can get raw milk here. I’m legally drinking raw milk as I watch this video.
There's milk shares in michigan just got on a wait list. Some shares are like $6 a gallon and some $17 😮
Hey! What about high end pet stores?? I can find frozen raw goats milk at pet food stores. My dogs tell me it's really yummy! 😉
Land of the free? not when you had to get the shot, you will be taxed to oblivion by a partner, nothing but GMO and bio-engineered food, drive farmers out of business, sue and tarnish herbologists and raw food and raw milk lovers. we will raise taxes, we will raise the cost of living, and we will increase inflation by printing. the average civilization is 250 years, it's time to become an expat. just in case CBDC rolls out and more banks fail. Sorry for venting on this lovely channel but it is time for Home of the Brave to step up and recognize the enemy within. man, the subject of raw milk sure gets me riled up.

I lived in a rural area of South Australia and drank raw milk where it is illegal, it tastes beautiful and the local lads were all very healthy; too sad we have to all walk as slow as the slowest person and legislate it.
Absolutely love your content I'm a huge supporter of u and I have been learning soo much from u. I can't thank u enough for stepping up and sharing this life changing information to everyone.
“Apart from being heated for a short time” You just described pasteurization… all milk is natural where else would it come from?
It’s illegal because it’s healthy. And it’s natural. Bottomline. I’ve had it with these lying jokers! And you know who I’m talking about!!!
Fantastic information! I travel once weekly to CA to get my stash!!! There’s no milk that tastes better without the bloat, cramping and acne.
May I ask where you live and where you get milk in California… I live in Las Vegas and wouldn’t mind going to Cali to get the milk but I i’m not even sure where to look
@@Holistic-Rebellion I live in Reno and go to Truckee CA. Your best bet might be LA, San Bernardino?
@@specialk2995 thank you 😊

Raw milk helped a lot with my acne
Tell me more pls
Raw milk significantly increased my milk supply immediatly after drinking it everytime.
I wish i had a farm that has raw milk. I need to find one but near me they're few and far between
I found a small family farm that sells it in Scotland, TX.
Get my raw milk straight from the farm in the UK but illegal here, so the farmer sells it with not fit for human consumption sticker on it. I am going to make butter next
Wish we could get our government to take another look at the benefits, but the revenue loss from pasteurization process won’t happen. 😞
It's a shame that such a vast nation like US can't get raw milk.., the place where I live I almost get it from 5 mins away cow shed infront of me door
Just started drinking it, bought some at Sprouts Market in San Diego. It's absolutely delicious.......but cost $17 a gallon!!!! Guess you gotta do what you gotta do. Oh, and the kefir I made with it is soooo good!
We pay $2.50 a gallon for A2 pastured raw milk.
@@TRuth.T that's awesome for you. I'd be willing to bet you don't live in California though. 🤣
@@billparker7410 no were in the Midwest (l don't think there's Amish in CA.)
Yes, they have it at Seed to Table, it’s labeled for pet use only, and it’s way more expensive than standard milk. I haven’t tried it yet.
Raw milk is perfect food has everything the powers that be they don't want any humans smart
Just went and bought some. Super good! Way better than regular milk.
Can you touch on chia and flax seeds? They are being praised as super foods all the time. Do they contain significant amounts of defense chemicals?
yes, they are seeds.
Yes! Superfoods for birds...
Flax seed is the single most phytoestrogen-infested plant part in nature. I'd take it with soy and lots of beer if I were TRANSitioning....
Unfortunately can't buy raw milk in my state, asked about it and everyone says it's illegal because it can kill you. So weird since people used to drink raw milk forever until everything became industrialized.
Yup. And I’m sure, according to them, that a certain experimental injection was needed to survive lol
@@keithroberts2440 TOP COMMENT. Spot on.
Excellent
I get raw milk in the Sacramento area, very pricey though @ $13/gallon. Absolutely delicious, pasteurized milk tasted bland in comparison.
I work in a dairy in Austria for 18 years and drink raw organic cow milk for 5 years. I have 60 000lt daily available. Lol
You'd think that it would be easier to get raw milk here in the south, like Louisiana. Nope!
What about the connection between milk and prostate cancer cause of the gh in milk?
Wow, incredible info man. This makes me wish it wasnt illegal in kentucky..
Illegal here in the UK 🇬🇧 I can’t find it anywhere 😊
scotland made it illegal :(

Lucky to get it less than a mile away!
Very true.
Gotta smuggle in my raw milk from Pennsylvania
Too bad I can't buy it any where near me or I would
