Thank you so much Shakayla for staying in the kitchen for motivating us with recipes, ways to prep, different ways to fix it. New ideas. Thank you so much.
Honestly, I recommend getting an instant pot vs a rice cooker because it not only cooks rice perfectly (4 c brown rice with 5 c water for 21 minutes), it can obviously do so much more, like one pot meals, beans from dry (19 or 20 minutes). You'd love it.
Ooooooo your food is right up my alley! I love how you share healthy, easy, realistic veg recipes that don't break the bank, and use ingredients that we can mostly all find easily. Thank you so much!!!
This is a great idea! I'm the only person that eats fully plant based in my family of 4 and I'm always having to do so much extra when preparing dinner. I'm definitely going to try this.
Normally I try to plan/make meals that I only have to adapt a few ingredients but it doesn't always work out in my favor. Sometimes I just make myself a sandwich or have leftovers and cook for the rest of my family. I think your ingredient prep idea could really help me out. That's my goal for this weekend. Praying that this will make my week much smoother and satisfying.
Girl, when you started singing " Truth is I'm tired" I hollered. I've started prepping my vegetables to because I don't have time during the week (from teaching in the evenings and working in the office). I's be tired LMBO, but I am going to try the tahini dressing because sweet Jesus it looks good. SN: You've lost weight! You look good girl! Can't wait for your video next week.
Thank you for this video because it’s right on time! I chopped up my veggies last week and it made a huge difference in me NOT eating out and using what I had.
I just came across your vid on the clock. SIS!!!! I am so glad I did I had to follow you on here. I've been struggling with plantbased foods cause I was a meat eater. I am two weeks in but I love tour take on ingredient prep. I'm going to try this.
I just crossed this channel and decided to subscribe. I have just tried the burger bowl, which was great. I'm glad you're no longer down about your creativity and channel. Think of it this way; you're ministering and teaching us about taking care of our temples. I hope everyone is receptive and reaps the rewards. Thank you.
This is a great idea. Yes, get yourself a rice cooker. I like it because I have a tray in mine so as I cook rice I can also steam veggies. Thank you for sharing your prep and meals.
❓ I noticed that you have paper towels in your containers for your leafy greens. Is it a wet paper towel to keep them crisp or dry? So helpful! The prep is the longest part of cooking IMO. Def jumping on board with this!
I have been loving your content Shakayla!! Ive tried one of your recipes so far (the teriyaki tofu stir fry with rice) and it was soooo delicious!! I can’t wait to try more of your recipes!! That chickpea tuna salad looks delicious! 🤤
Thank you for the ideas. I can wait to shreds my tofu and try the chick peas tuna . Oh and the teriyaki seaweed so good . I always done just original. 👏🏾👏🏾loving the show .
Have you tried cooking whole sweet potatoes in the air fryer they’re delicious. I do not poke any holes in them. I do 400° 15 minutes turn and another 15 minutes and then if it needs a little longer do a couple minutes at a time
I love your content keep it up and you can also try pumfu organic pumpkin seed soy free sausage crumble or organic quinoa and lentil flour pasta for people who are wheat free and soy free I saw your pea protein video and just wanted to spread the love like you are thank you!
You have no idea how much I or we that’s on health journey Appreciate your Platform. Thank you beautiful! Also because of your tofu crumbles are my favorite breakfast yummy.
Great meal prep, Shakayla! 🥰 Do you have an Instant Pot? If so, it's a great rice cooker. It takes 10 minutes to cook white rice and 15 to cook brown rice. I don't eat quinoa, but I'm sure you can cook it easily in the IP, as well as other grains. The IP is a great space saver for me because I don't have room for all those appliances in my kitchen!😅
Good Evening, my name is Maleesha and I’m new to the channel. Your video literally popped up and spoke to me while I was eating some Skittle Gummies, it said “put that away and start learning how to cook and eating healthier meals”.
Everything looks ahmazing pretty girl!💗💚 I am about to do my prep for the week and instead of the balsamic I planned for salads, I want to make the tahini ceasar! I didn't see the recipe. Do you mind posting? Thanks so much! Love your channel!
Thank you!! Yes, I forgot to add the link, but it's there now. Here is it so you don't have to go back to the description www.sweetgreensvegan.com/recipecards1/copycat-cava-tahini-caesar-dressing
Love this... Ingredient prep. Great idea. Im new on my meatless journey... Question...Does chickpea have texture like tuna? And why seaweed does it give the fish taste?
I stopped using seaweed when I read it increases the risk for Lou Gehrig's ALS, so now I make the veg tuna without it. Basically the way I understand it isa anything that comes from out of the open waters now is dangerous unfortunately. Otherwise great ideas and well made vid. Thanks for the motivation!!
I’m going to be kung fu Panda in the wind today as a I go to the store because I definitely want to use some of these ingredients in meals this week… I am so happy you’re making the ch-una in this video … was going to search TikTok for your recipe

If you haven’t tried black rice, that is a must try to put on your list. Fair warning, no rents needed but it will turn anything you cook with it black so you might want to cook it by itself😂
@@Shakaylafelice whew. Lol that's exactly where I looked, i think i didn't realize they were vacuum seal containers that's really neat. Have you had it for a while and it actually makes a difference. Thank you for responding. My poor brain just automatically thought that's not it. Sorry.
Maybe I’m going to try ingredient prep, I always end up with a salad because I don’t feel like making a vegan meal sometimes. It can be time consuming, but meal prepping is a waste of money, I can never seem to eat the same exact thing, in the same way more than twice. Maybe this is the key to end the food waste.
