@@KaizenLife I would implore you to not use those kind of sharpeners as they remove far too much metal. Get some diamond plates, they'll outlast you like that knife should.
1095cv on the USMC, and yes D2 is more rust resistant. But since it’s also more wear resistant, I would recommend you to learn sharpening on a cheaper throw away blade first, before you move to the big boy. But since D2 doesn’t wear out easily, that edge will last you a long time.
I'm not a fan of the polymer plastic whatever sheth's you might have a leather one made. I do a lot of hunting and camping it seems like rivets always pop through the plastic. It's fine just the way it is if it's just going to stay in your nightstand or displayed. Other than that it's a fine-looking knife
That's a sexy blade, brother. Good luck sharpening it. I hear tell D2 can be a real mule
I got the kabar sharpener, but haven't used it yet. Hopefully it can sharpen the D2 steel lol.

@@justsomeguy919 Okay that's good to know, ty!
@@KaizenLife use a leather strop every day you use it and you'll never need to sharpen watch vids on how to strop a blade
I wanted to get one without the saw edge but it only had the saw edge on Amazon 😑 still a good knife tho

If you wave your hand, does the knife rattle in its sheath?
100% agree with wanting to see the product Not! Someone talking about it?
3:08 min...."I don't know anything about knives.".....Okaaaaay. It was obvious, but the confirmation helps.
Lolz, bro bought a ka bar in college threw in his garage and let it rust.
Yikes
You let a ka bar rust then threw it out?
