This is well done. The creator not only found the homes but replicated the angles to match them to master shots from the films. Well done!
Thanks so much!
I love blue streak too. One of my favorite movies of all time. 👍👍
Nick fantastic as always, you're camera angles are perfect 👌
Thanks a lot Mark!
@@NickP wasn't the Ferris buller house also used in Beverley hills cop 2 where axel supposably steals a house
@@almorgan68 hey, that was a different house in Beverly Hills.

Hey nick the house across from people under the stairs was used in Rob zombies version of halloween. Ok I'm off to watch ferris buller now. 😂 👍
Ahhahhh that was it lol.. Thanks a lot haha ENJOY!
It was also used as Dr. Finch’s house in Running With Scissors. It had been painted pink in that movie

@@NickP Hey Nick, I am doing OK! Hope you are too! Gladstone see some new stuff. Unless I have missed a bunch. Work has been crazy busy lately! 😫 Keep Spinning and Winning! Cheers...
Nice job brother! I was at Roger’s house myself several years ago too. I love how it’s perched up there on that hill with that little park that the road wraps around and that nice view of Los Angeles.
That house is in a great spot. Not surprised to hear you were there lol. Hope all is well brother! Many thanks!
Nick you make the best filming locations videos! Your Warriors and Godfather videos were my favorites. Request: go to the Chicago area and do John Hughes filming locations...16 Candles, Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller, Uncle Buck, Home Alone...that oughta keep you busy! Keep up the good work!
Haha great to hear Jamie! I can’t wait to do those classics! Thanks so much!
I just did that last week. My daughter loved the Shameless & home alone house ...
Incredible page! So cool how you like up the shots perfectly. Great work!
Thank you!
Top notch, as per standard 👌
Love it!
Wow! Great stuff and worth the wait. Always fascinated by the photos or videos side by side of past and present. Very curious about the process and work that goes into your videos. Would love a video that gives us a glimpse on how you make one of these from research to travel etc. No pressure , just a thought. Keep up the great work!
That’s a really interesting idea Perry! I thought about doing something like that not too long ago. I will make a video along those lines, at some point in the future.
I really appreciate the feedback!
Brilliant filming 🎥 location just great 👍 mr b Robin hood county uk 👍 🇬🇧
Great video.
As a filmmaker, I love watching these on down time..This is one of the BEST ive seen great job thanks for gettting the angles right (most of these videos on youtube do not) and showing them at the same time! GREAT JOB!
Many thanks!
@@NickP Would love to see you do one for Breakfast Club, The First Back to the future (Ive seen some but i dont think they did it like you could) and even more of ferris beullers day off! Maybe you already have I will check your page..Thanks again
@@garybosek8892 Back to the Future is my all time favorite movie, trying to plan something special for that one.

@@NickP I love your videos as well and nice greetings from Austria.
@@ThomasfromAustria That means a lot Thomas, thank you!
Hey, Nick! Good to see you, man! I was just wondering the other day what you were up to. Great video, btw. Amazing how the trees have grown 8n front of the Ferris Bueller house (the house is the same, unlike Garth's house). I see the People Under the Stairs house and get the chills. Such a creepy movie. I appreciate your effort! Take care!
Thanks a lot Dave! Yes, I was busy with training for my profession. Finally have some time freed up. I’ll have some good ones rolling out soon. Great to hear from you!
@@NickP Great news there. Can't wait!
Ah man perfect as usual! Nick P was also here!
You’re the man, Nick! Greatly appreciated.
Hey I'm a new subscriber only just found this channel and didn't hesitate to subscribe. Wow. How the heck did u not know about this channel ages ago. It's the best movie location Chanel i seen and i love your narrations over the videos. You covered nearly every movie location i wanted to see. Are you from LA? Wow words can't express how madly in love i am with this channel. You are a genius 😊
I really appreciate that, many thanks to you! I do not live in LA, but I’m out there roughly once a year. Any others that you’d like to see? I have a few in the works.
@@NickP your welcome. Yes I'm actually blown away by your channel. Not only the content but the quality on your videos are next level. Just to let you know I'm a photographer and videographer from the UK and will be coming LA next year. That's why i asked if you was from there. I love to meet you. I'm also wanting to see movie locations for myself that's why i find your channel useful. I would love to see you do Boyz n the good locations and Friday. Maybe menace to society too. I love the research you do thats why i need some guidance from you when i come LA. I'm gonna binje watch everyone i missed out on soon 😊
you the man
It would be great to see new California movie locations !
Greetings Tom Brussels.
I love you work brother😊 and did they film inside Ferris bueller days off
Many thanks, I’m not sure if they also filmed inside that house.
@@NickP so they did film inside the house right
@@jeffdoty5755 possibly, I’m not sure.
Ferris is still my favourite movie 😊
Cameron When your father gets home, we’ll just tell him I wrecked the car. He hates me anyway.
The house at the end you were unsure about was also used as Dr. Finch’s house in Running With Scissors. It had been painted pink in that movie.
Thanks!
Another awesome filming locations video! Did you go to any haunted houses when you were in los Angeles like Knott's Scary Farm
Good video I have to check out the Ferris Bueller house
Thanks a lot buddy
hi mate .... you once sent me info how to go the the worriors scene in new york ..... i ended up not going as i tested positive for covid and they woudnt let me fly ...... thanks all the same 👍👍its still on my bucket list
Hope you get there some day soon bud!
A couple of houses right to the Thriller house is the Charmed house!
I’m surprised they didn’t film Ferris buellers house portion on the Chicagos North Shore, like Home Alone
PLEASE do the little rascles (1994) would love to see that
Hi Nick
Is it possible for you some time in the future to visit any location from the Naked gun movies.
Leslie Nielsen was a funny guy
or Back to the future movies also a favorite
Absolutely… In fact, I already have but I never made a full video for them.
Back to the Future is my all time favorite movie, and planning something special for that one. The Naked Gun is another one amongst my favs. Great suggestions.
@@NickP Thanks Nic looking forward to see those videos
Nick, I wanna see some filming locations of The Sandlot (1993) for the next video.
I’ll get there!
I'm looking from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Wow the Bueller house is virtually unchanged. When that’s the case I always assume that the homeowners make an effort to keep it looking like it did in a film. Many homeowners also completely makeover these types of houses so fans don’t haunt their houses taking photos and whatnot.
In the TV series Heat Of The Night, what town and state was that based out of???
Hi mate, any chance of you doing a filming location video on the movie “The Basketball Diaries” featuring Leonardo Di Caprio and Mark Wahlberg. Love watching your content from Australia. Thanks :) 👍🏼
I really appreciate it buddy.. I will get to that one in the future!
sorry there as a eror for the adress of house triller it's at " 1344 Carroll Ave Los Angeles, Californie "
Is it just me who misses that kind of 90s vibe? even in the documentaries the films we see this kind of pollution in the city ,of filth, of dust, los angeles in the films of the 80s/90s we have the impression of feeling the enormous scorching heat of the city center that we see with those dusty compton sidewalks with yellow grass in the sun
could you please go to the what ever happened to baby jane mansion? 🤞🤜🤛
The house from People Under the Stairs I probably wouldn't want to go in the house right now I'll probably get tracked
Isn't the Fast and Furious house near the Training Day house?
Not too far apart
Where’s part 1? Canna find it.

Thunder Dreams by Kevin Macleod
Imagine 48 million for a house that hasnt had the hedges trimmed.
Is there a reason why so many movies and TV shows use the same filming locations? Just easier because it's been used before or is it something to do with permits? Sears for me if I was filming something or producing something I wouldn't want something that's been used before but obviously there has to be a reason for it.
Definitely has to be a big part of it, like when directors stick with the same actors. Convenience, no added problems, etc… It also has to do with the scenic and production value as well.
Почти не чего не изменилось 👍
0:14 that’s from Long Beach, California.
I always assumed Ferris Bueller was Chicago like the other John Hughes films
The majority of the movie is filmed in Chicago, with a few scenes shot in Cali.
Roger’s house is also the girl’s house on Drag Me To Hell
Your last vid about The Burbs is private.
It was just a quick video I put up for Halloween. Did you get to watch it?
@@NickP not fully .
@@fred_derf_ ok sorry, I’ll publicize again for a while.
@@fred_derf_ ok, up now
@@NickP Thanks; great vid, one of the best movie ever !
I'm 42 years old now. We have to be close in age. I used to be afraid of thriller also.
Yes, I’ll be 43 soon
You are so right and we are almost in the same age. Thriller did a great job to thrill people around the world including me. Nice greetings from Austria🇦🇹 and please stay safe.
@@ThomasfromAustria Wow Austria. You stay safe too my friend 👍😀
I thought Ferris Bueller was filmed in a Chicago suburb
Most of the movie was filmed in and around Chicago, however some of it was shot in Southern California. This has happened a lot over the years.
man i need to visit LA
The locations looked better in the past than they do now. They look unkept nowadays.
