Loved the video, I was hoping you had visited the deleted scene where Sara called her mom on the payphone, which was also the location where Friday The 13th Part 3 was filmed at Harold and Edna's store. There was a nice stream of water near there in the scene that would have been nice to see. Hopefully you will do a Friday The 13th Part 3 filming locations video at some point. You put a lot of hard work and gave a lot of great details in the locations. Thanks so much.

Back in 1984 , I was 15 years old and my parents owned the Tower Theater in Roseville, CA. and we had this movie in our theater for 2 weeks. I watched this movie twice a day for that entire time and this movie is my all time favorite! If you saw this movie back in 84, you'll understand how powerful it was.

I saw it not too long ago in the theatre. It was re-released. Some movies 🎬 are meant to be seen on the big screen. In a lot of ways, it's better than the sequel.
I loved the design of the club, TECH-NOIR. It had a real metallic, futuristic look to it! So perfect for the movie 🎬.
Great job. One of my favorite movies ever, you hit a few places a lot didn’t know about. That drainage tunnel is still the biggest mystery ever
Thanks man. I’m happy to hear you enjoyed it. One of the greatest movies of all time to me too. Wish someone could clear up the culvert mystery for us all. New theory. I think when they built the parking lot for the newer zoo it changed a lot of the roads in the area specifically that tunnel. Just another guess tho.

This movie deserves a 4K blu-ray for the 40th anniversary. Great video @TampaJay and finding new locations.
I've been thinking of buying the nike vandals that Michael wore in the film, but they're really expensive at £1000 a pair.
I'm wondering if I should hold off in case nike retro them for the films 40th anniversary.
Completely forgot about that. I've been assuming for years that we'd get a 4k release for its 40th anniversary. I'm sure I read somewhere that the remaster they did in 2014 or 2015 was done in 4k, so it's already done if that's true. They just need to release it.

I lived in Los Angeles for 10 years and scoured Griffith Park for that tunnel. No exaggeration, this video had me on the absolute edge of my seat. I hope Tunnel 3 is the one. But also, in a sick way, I hope all of us spend the rest of our lives searching for it. The ultimate mystery!!!!
I’m in the same boat as you! Stood in that tunnel. It’s almost right, but hills don’t just disappear. And that red brick. Where is it?!?!
I think you got the right tunnel. Looks identical, and the only reason it looks smaller in the movie is the perspective and probably the camera lense they were using. Looks spot on the money.
one of the things that makes T1 so good is there are no forced joke, comic relief, no cheesy lines. Its 100% SERIOUS.
For years a lot of TH-camrs never visited Littlerock(gas station scene) or mentioned it when visiting terminator locations, it was always overlooked. Glad to see it’s getting recognition!

This was VERY well done. And in my opinion is now the top terminator location review on TH-cam. Would love to see more of these. Also like how you put the movie screenshot in the present day shot - don’t think I’ve seen that done before and I think is a much better way to do before and after instead of cutting back and forth which makes it hard to see all the fine details that have changed… also love how extensive these videos are in length - I know most have short attention spans, but these are historical and a lot of the locations may not be around much longer as the years go on… lol I’m a nerd, but again AWESOME WORK.

Jay, this is fantastic and thank you for crediting the source websites (one is mine). I know the James Cameron guys worked hard back in the day to document a lot and I got some missing locations that had never been posted online as well. I've done a ton of research on the drainage culvert over the years and I'm close to confirming the correct one.

Thank you Matt. I found out how t do that last year in my editing software (iMovie) I am not an expert or I would have been doing that years ago if I had known I could. SOS is so much easier for the audience to comprehend what I’m saying and trying to match up.

Thanks so much for going into more depth of most of each scene. It's interesting with editing they make it seem like certain events take place in one area like the alley ways but in reality they shoot in various areas of the alley ways.

I’m actually more impressed with how you used the backgrounds to show where scenes were filmed than the actual locations. Great job. The one thing I never understand is why they say Tech Noir is on Pico which is far from 7th and Broadway where Arnold flies off the car.
