      Cheers for this, I've been looking for "subliminal programming free" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Wenaleb Yonathan Blueprint - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is an awesome one off product for discovering how to get subliminal MP3s minus the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my cousin got cool success with it.

    The amount of visual “noise” our eyes take in that the brain has to filter out (otherwise we’d be unable to navigate the world) means that those single frame “messages” are probably being ignored.

      Before they revealed that he was lying, I was like wtf... To show a message 1/3000 of a second their refresh rate should be 3000 Hz. I was like he's sure lying else where could that technology have gone to be reduced to 144 Hz these days? And it felt like its against the cognitive tradeoff theory. Humans can't capture such a quickly faded image. Though there could have been methodto overcome it still it felt highly unlikely except in exceptional cases specifically designed which would make it difficult to execute.

    Subliminal advertising can happen at home. For instance, when you cook something that smells good... Can produce cravings. Eating in front of the average person can cause them to want a snack too etc. A smoker seeing someone smoking. (Being aware, abd teaching yourself techniques to overcome things like this is helpful if you notice this behavior in yourself. Biggest thing for me is avoiding snacks before bed when other people are making food)

    Did a deeep dive on this in 2017 ish after a Mad Men episode about it. And the spike more of small pictures in pictures that represented strong emotions like sex and death. It was used in WW1 to recruit. It gets very Sigmond Fraud like. Examples are like. The sexy girl in the ice of a martini glass to say drink this liquor get laid. More complex becomes a goat man for mischief. A skull for hard liquor because liquor makers think people who drink spirits have a death wish. So that photo with photos originally were hand drawn poster size and shrunk down and psychologist would help define the message and how to manipulate the mind. At the time certain large add agencies would have huge departments for this. And hiring was hard because a graphic designer would have to have an almost sociopath type moral less compass to do the job. Great video btw just adding info.
    As for is it hard to put in a message. One frame? It is super easy. I worked on music and audio side of multi million dollar add campaigns. They spent two or three full days to make a 30 second edit. To make a one from message takes about one minute as you edit your own videos. You drag and drop a title. Type in in. Zoom in and cut it to one frame and put in place.
    There is another video about how like 5 designers were hired to make logo for a brand and put on a bus. On the way they had put posters in windows very hard to see of an idea for this brand. At this office they were told to make this logo out in rooms and all of them made variations of the poster that they could have only Registered subconsciously. So can a quick word do something? Probably with the same impact of seating the word. Like. Drink Coke. As a slogan. We use. You love this. Not hidden. But in plane sight. And it make more sense to just out front advertise like. Subscribe Now verse in a message like you showed us. Unless you were evil and wanted people to love an evil entity.
    However the reason metal people do reverse masking is two fold. Some want to push their person the devil and some feel sex death money as in advertising is the most impactful emotion. So this is fun. Find pour some suger on me vocal only. The back round vocals say devil. I’m a music composer audio engineer. You can find this in movie poster. A scary movie will have monsters in the clouds. Really have to look. But it’s to subconsciously scare you. Because it is a scary movie.

    One of the keys to subliminal messaging is repetition, and the experiment would have taken much longer to influence people enough to get them to choose tea. You are able to influence people easier to feel thirsty than to influence them on what beverage they want. Some people are more susceptible to it than others as well. There's a perfectly good scientific explanation for every point that you made against subliminal messaging. Sorry, you haven't presented solid case or evidence to me. I've read plenty of reliable sources that prove it does work, however.

    Yeah, the thing is .... Most of the advertising we encounter is not actually watched or read with a focused conscious mind to begin with. It does, however, need to communicate clearly to become memorable at all. Most "subliminal messaging" is too fleeting and falls beyond the threshold of human perception. There's no reason to believe that our subconscious mind collaborates with our senses to perveive things that our conscious mind cannot.

    • @ReshiLuna
      @ReshiLuna 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      That actually technically is. By introducing something to an audience over and over again in a subtle, non intrusive manner, you can change people's opinions on things. In this example, them showing carrots and spinach, and putting it in in a subtle way (incorporating it into the character) it in turn subliminally influenced you to try said foods, and like them.

  • @user-vn7ce5ig1z
    @user-vn7ce5ig1z 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    By definition, subliminal mean imperceptible, but if you don't perceive then you can't be influenced by it. The fear is that your unconscious will perceive it and influence your conscious behavior, but that's just not true. That's not priming; priming is a different thing altogether. Also, even at 60fps, a single frame is quite noticeable and conspicuous and also distracting and the only thing it's going to get people to do is to complain.

  • @JoeCross98
    @JoeCross98 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    The lack of research is the real problem. One dude offering tea to one theater isn't compelling. And the fraud in the original studies doesn't mean it doesn't work. It's just anecdotal, but a good friend of mine owned an independent movie theater in Tampa, Florida in the 70s and he has coke and nacho receipts that clearly spike/trough the exact days he started/ stopped using subliminal advertising. He had to stop when the FCC updated their guidance. It makes sense since it perfectly fits the criteria laid out in the video: repetitive, movie goerers are primed for snacks, easy access, etc. It does work under the right conditions. Like 12am when you already want a snack and TikTok flashes a Nutella jar so that I have to go eat the whole thing.

    We shouldn't fear the messages we can't consciously perceive, but instead the ones we do actually acknowledge. As with hypnosis, the participant has tobe willing to accept a message, and then act on it; this can't happen if the message was not perceived. What we really should fear about our modern dystopia, is how tailored and directed our advertising has become; targeting ideas we are already willing to accept.

    propaganda subliminal messages put into movies, but I don't think a subliminal add to eat popcorn, and drink a Pepsi is going to work on me, unless I was already hungry and thirsty prior to the add.. You also hear it a lot on fast-food commercials..
    An old man with a slow talking voice describes the sound of the bacon sizzling on the grill, and the steaks being grilled to perfection..
    It's all words to trigger you when your hungry..
    Most of the time those commercials air right around lunch and dinner.

    Wait so in the example of the cola and popcorn if it only showed up for 1/3000th of a second does that mean their reels were displaying 3000fps?

    This treatment of the topic was exceedingly narrow, Cheddar, &, quite frankly, ironically enough, reveals "confirmation bias." Evidently the "set up strawman, knock over strawman" approach was used for this presentation.
    Another aspect glaringly missing the treatment it deserves & demands is that of, okay, even if in particular cases the subliminal messaging failed to do what the producers of it desired for it to do, so what about going after the producers for their actual desire & efforts to try to control the minds of the public? Indeed, they ought to be soberly & insistently called out for their actions & their motivations, & greatly marked by the public as enemies.
    It is no small matter for an entity to be trying to control your mind, viewer. You should be greatly concerned about any trying to downplay the threat & the occurrences. The propaganda media already has been able to do immense damage under the guise of "fair & honest" reporting.

    They shouldn't have giving a choice between water and tea, they should have been giving a choice between water and buying a tea.

    It's not about how it's difficult it's about it being compounding or occurring over and over again, similar to how the ai operated by much of silicone Valley in advertising aims to change you by 5% than again by 5% and again and again through similar means. Subliminal just means your not conscious of it occurring and it occurs in online advertising and social media non stop without people being aware so subliminally. No it does happen and the laws need to be enforced and updated by the people for the people not by or for the rich.

    Sorry. There is no way an image in a projected film can be as short as 1/3000th of a second. 1/24th of a second is as short as it could have been

    That guy’s bullshit could have easily been explained away. One frame of a film lasts 1/24th of a second (or 24 FPS). It’s literally impossible that he could have shown a subliminal message for 1/3000th of a second.
