Hi everyone! For those interested in the tokens, I only have 18 sets available at the present which are available on my eBay profile. (Follow the link in the description to my Patreon post to learn more.) Those tokens will not be signed, but if you would like monthly signed product like these tokens, subscribe to the Patreon. For this first pilot, I will not be shipping outside the USA, EXCEPT FOR if you subscribe to the Patreon. In that case I will send signed tokens anywhere in the world for this print run.
Thank you! All my friends want to do it again. Haha. It's always a great time. I'd love to host some in person events in the future either for MTG or video games. So keep an eye on the horizon. :)
Wow, impressed, nice analisis and now I know what Neera deck I'm going to build! :3 Thanks for the insight in how to play it! ^^ I also watched before the game, what a crazy game that was!
I've received the Patreon tokens in the mail and couldn't be any happier with them. I appreciate the work you put into them and the signature is a nice bonus. I am so jealous of you hosting a halo 3 lan party.
Thanks, found this quite helpful for building my own version of Neera! I was curious if for the counterspells, you had decided specifically that they were worthwhile to keep even though they could fizzle Neera's triggers? I was just realizing today and switched mine for modal.
Is there somewhere we can ask for advice? I like the idea of this deck but my local pod is usually playing in the $500 range, so I was wondering what kind of upgrades I could do for this aside from the already mentioned Scroll Rack and Sensei's Top
OOOOOH I'm totally buying those tokens for my Chishiro deck! Any chance you'd consider doing an update to the chishiro deck? I know the original deck idea (cards Post could have used at the time), but id love to see how youd build it now. Especially with more +1/+1 synergy. Edit: your variation + seeing post play his definitely inspired mine 😊 Edit2: Cards like Cactusgolk Sureshot, Railway Brawler, Bristly Bill, Archdruids Charm, Animal Friend, Power Fist, Silver Shroud Costume and Watchful Radstag feel really good. I want to possibly add in Bottle-Cap Blast since it doubles as removal and ramp, especially ramp at in my pods (lots of 1/1s)
Really cool deck! I have wanted to play Neera for a while but the use of scry-type spells is inspired. I can certainly see some easy upgrades for this deck, but what would be your "Break the Bank" inclusions? Any chance for an optimized decklist?
She had a Wingmantle Chaplain which made bird tokens, also various walls like Wall of Shards and Hover Barrier, amongst others, which naturally have flying printed on them.
I could use help from anyone to build a fund deck that can control and stop players from going infinite out of nowhere when it was suppose to be a fun game. Player is building an awesome Vampire legion, then instead of attacking to kill anyone he tutors and ok lol who knows what's happening. Next turn infinite no attacks and wins. This type of game ticks me off and i want to prevent stupid players from doing this. My locals are all like this. I have been playing Xyris but these stupid combos are not making it fun anymore at all. I stopped playing with wheels and such because it screwed with anyone that much.
So I’m newish to your videos, maybe a few months. I can say I love the depth you go through with them and the time you take explaining everything. I’ve been playing competitive/casual magic since ‘01, and edh since released in ‘11. So maybe some feedback for you, because I don’t see many creators doing it, BUT going back to previous builds when you do updates, what worked, what was cut and so forth is nice. I have over 30 edh decks and brewing 8 more and I find myself CONSTANTLY going back and tweaking them. Your loyal followers would probably appreciate if you shared your changes and thoughts too. Also idk about anyone else but I would hardly call $100-$150 a budget list on a CASUAL edh level. I have decks ranging from $15-$2000 and I can say for my pod I play with they wouldn’t consider $150 a budget deck. Not that any of us can’t afford $150 but when your average precon is $50-$75 and you dump another $50 into that’s about where I would say MOST CASUAL players draw the line. To put it into perspective I built 12/13 decks in the last year totaling just under a grand. Just food for thought. Love the video though. 👍🫶

Really liked this video format - congrats on the win!
Also, the lan-party idea sounded amazing

I appreciate you. :) I hope to one day host a larger LAN where I can invite a broader group.
People, buy those tokens ASAP if you want 'em, only 16 sets left in stock!

Yo 250$ a month, wtf
I sit on the WC to take a shit. I open youtube. I see Tempest-Official released a video 28 sec ago. Coolest shit ever.

250 a month patreon levels, that's wild 😳
It definitely goes to show how expensive it is to produce these shows.
I believe in Neera the Wild Mage Supremacy

Can we make this a cedh deck?
Who knew "polymorph" was a powerful archetype.
*Pulls the mask off* It really was polymorph the entire time. haha
Why were the walls flying?

If you are in temur, use efficient counterspells, or fogs, obscuring haze does wonders, you can also use stifle effects like tishana’s tidebinder
6 cmc? wth is this, casual?
dont being rude
but the deck DID NOT "DOMINATE" the game...
it was good. and won.
but could have died very easily in some occasions

In the intro he mentioned specifically that he was told to keep it to $150. That's why he went for that limit.
