Nice of you to plug Jimmy Dale. Hes a cool dude. I dont have nothing against NOS but im sure you could get it to run what you want without it if you wanted to put the time and effort into it.
The coolers being below the blower ont he TVS2650 is why most people go for the Magnuson 2650 on the LS series, the harrop LSA replacement 2650 still has the coolers on the top and is a much nicer setup.
If you would like to see Steve go faster----------turn the playback speed to 1.25😁!! Helps if you're trying to pack in as much info as you can before bed on the weekdays.
Steve Morris... You are the closest person in the racing industry to being the first person to take every aspect of engine building seriously... Most of your competitors refuse to take anything but their favorite part seriously... Like the guys who swear by carburetors and only do anything if it has something to do with the carburetor... Or the guys who only care about nitrous... Or the guys who only care about turbos... Or the guys who only care about superchargers... Or the guys who only care about tires... You're finally the first person to put it all together in the same place. Imagine what you could do with an engine that's built with the passion of all those people who only care about one component at a time all put together in the same place... That's what you're doing. Nobody will ever even come close to how successful...
It’s all good Steve, nitrous and boost can peacefully coexist. I’ve used the happy gas on my 6.7 Powerstroke for years. Crazy how fast it spools and lowers EGTs if you use it responsibly 😬
You make me laugh I enjoy your personality and how you feel about the Blazer like a little kid who got a new bike at Christmas and can’t wait to go out for a ride. When you love a car you just do.
Some guys on Race Week were using Hellcat blowers on SBC, they're made an adapter plate. More displacement than Magnuson, think Hellcat blower was 2.4L. Don't think they were making adapters for BBC, though. Somebody should make one.
The aussies on the skid factory channel had one of those prototype harrop kits I believe. That old toyota crown would do x frame things off the line lol
Back in 1985 I had to fill (gravity and big garbage cans of ice water) FIVE-30 lb nitrous bottles after every heat on an Unlimited Hydroplane with a 2,240 cid V12. 900-1200 hp single shot into the twin 14" centrifugal superchargers.😮. We calculated nitrous flow by putting a bottle on a digital scale. N2O is amazing stuff. It'll eff things up FAST, though. We used custom nitrous and fuel valves. Sometimes a bit of H20, due to condensation would freeze the nitrous valve open and the fuel valve would close (off the button)😱
Yeah I hate bottle babies on the street but that's cheap horsepower a lot of us me included don't have time and money to do twin turbo setups so we just get a little bottle feed baby hope it does good
Major respect increase from a nobody in Norway. powerloss? use nos! i never thought i would see the day where a nos kit gets installed in a Morris-owned vehicle... im gonna have to turn my cap around for the entire day now ;) WOW... goes to show you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. good onya Steve Morris!! Proud of ya man! Takes a proper man to make that step and admit that the opposing team has something going right to the level that you might do the same.
I love N20 for spool up! Especially big turbo 4cyl and 6cyl stuff. Turns things into an animal real quick! 😂. Stage 0 is 50-75 shot for turbo spool, and stage 1/2 is the TB setup. That’s a lot of spray for sure!
Hey Steve, just curious, do you notice any difference in throttle response with that throttle body an extra foot away from the intake manifold? Would that possibly contribute at all to the feeling of turbo lag, especially at part throttle?
I thought that you would be using the spray to spool up the compressor wheel. Going with the plate is an instant seat of the pants acceleration. Can't wait to see your face during testing. 😀👍
@@stevemorrisracing So you aren't going to drill out the compressor and install a nitrous line at the turbo like they would on a 2JZ or Diesel application?🤔
Enough parts for Kyle's car as well! Jimmy Dale hooking it up!
You got it figured out
@@JimmyDaleRacing I knew what ya was doin...
Another Fantastic video- you are very generous bringing us into your shop like this Steve.
Thank you kindly
Steve Morris and Jimmy Dale - the colab we never knew we needed! ❤❤❤
Whomp, Whomp, Whomping!!!
Oh Boy!!! Steve said I don’t even know how to address this!!! NOS!! lol. 😂. It’s killing him!!
Bottles are for babies 😄😄😄
hes gone once ya do that
What? NOS? It's an NX system.
So there I was watching Steve Morris, seeing nitrous oxide in bottle form. That Johnny is going to fly! Love you Jimmy Dale!
Steering wheel buttons are the cats pajamas. Glad you saw/found the light and boost on the 8th day.
That BBH jetski thingy is wild as hell from just peeping it in the background. Can we get a run down on how the hell its settup?
A little spray
makes lag go away.
imagine gale banks and SM collab. that would be one insane diesel
The NOPE shirt will now have to say....we'll mabey. Lol
Well maybe I like that.
‘Nitrous spools turbos!!’
When you are working with blower speed I use the IAT to work out the peak efficiency maps, IAT V PSI.
Shoutout Brent,Tom and Poland from NX 😎🏁🤘🔥🇺🇸
Isn’t it funny how normalised 1000hp+ is on this channel? That’s an enormous amount of power in reality 😂
Nice of you to plug Jimmy Dale. Hes a cool dude. I dont have nothing against NOS but im sure you could get it to run what you want without it if you wanted to put the time and effort into it.
He said he didnt want to do that in the beginning of the video.
NOS? It's an NX system.
😂
I have a TBSS. 403ci. Built 4l70 3200 stall converter. No 2 step. 2wd. 325 rear mickey. It does 1.6 60ft On all motor. Love to boost it 1 day.
Great video! Also great to see the shout out to Jimmy Dale! Can’t wait to see the results from the blazer.
Favorite channel in the whole world. I check in DAILY! For new videos. Technical videos are what I like!!
More coming
Make sure you comment and share!
Second scramble button with the nitrous coming back in……….
😂👍
😂
Lets do it
name it the 'piston hole' button, or a wet shot 'head lifting' button. at high RPM, NOS is definitely not a good idea lol.
I saw a guy at a track in Sweden who tired that a few years ago. The result was, uh, interesting when viewed from a distance.....
Did this in the 70's when they first invented 'Funny Bikes", added the turbo, lazy, added a whiff of nitrous instant 60' magic! Catch up. Ole Guy
I can't wait to see this on the track, thanks for sharing!!!
That BBC package is quite interesting. I have seen others use nitrous to spool faster. Thanks for the update.
It would be cool,to see more SRC/OMG collaborations.
That Big Block on the Dyno sounds great, and happy with the blower
Look into HTP turbos with their new QST. "Quick Spool Technology".
Theres a lot of blade rnd going on right now among all the turbo manufacs, cool stuff.
27:32 This would make a badass shirt Steve lol. Found Boost and found the light
The coolers being below the blower ont he TVS2650 is why most people go for the Magnuson 2650 on the LS series, the harrop LSA replacement 2650 still has the coolers on the top and is a much nicer setup.
Keep up the awesome work
I hope you can offer some bigger shirts for us large fellows. Lol
Is that called "The point if diminishing return?"😮😊❤
Cleet had to add nitrous to mullet in the Rockies do to the elevation a couple years ago
"NOW EVEN A CAMERA GUY COULD DRIVE IT" Now that's funny right there.
As a TB owner I love seeing them get built.
If you would like to see Steve go faster----------turn the playback speed to 1.25😁!!

Crazy awesome video
19:31 - Pretty cool that the graph there is displaying the icthys in your logo Steve. The Lord sent you a coded message that he approves of the combo!
Best bloopers yet. Max has some patience
29:11 Watching Steve open up those NX boxes is like watching my kids on Christmas morning.
Steve and Kyle, y'all rock! Jimmy Dale is hilarious. Peace
🎶 when a problem comes along, you must Whippet.
When your turbos spool top long, you must Whippet.

Steve, you da best.
Have a look for the skid factory’s blown big block Toyota crown. It has one of the harrop development kit on it
Pat Musi is the Nitro guy he builds the big nitro engines
Nitrous Express + Steve Morris Engines = A PARTY 💪🤣
The aussies on the skid factory channel had one of those prototype harrop kits I believe. That old toyota crown would do x frame things off the line lol
If I remember right, that one had a front drive 2650
I think Professor breathed a "tiny bit" of nitrous and was trying to fly by using his arms as wings😂
You should have talked to jack stand Jimmy and did the ol Mullet special nitrous straight into the turbos trick. 😂
Happy gas? Steve? - looks like it's time to gather the family and have a "talk".
You need to get a Galaxy Gas paint job on the NX bottles 👍
So glad you've touched base with Harrop on the BBC blower deal Steve.
The 2 of you sharing some R&D would be quite the force to be reckonned with.
I want to know about that boat contraption in the back
Steve Morris you made my day with the nitrous 😂 Have fun with Blue
Is this the beginning of Steve's Nitro Turbo Revolution? Any way it turns out, it should make for an easy (and fun) driver!
Yeah I hate bottle babies on the street but that's cheap horsepower a lot of us me included don't have time and money to do twin turbo setups so we just get a little bottle feed baby hope it does good
I want to see that NOS SMX just because.
Always fun! Always informative!
Worlds quietest two step 😂
Did you see the Dodge hellcat blowers on the ls engines on the Last drag and drive on 1320
I think you are doing just fine , esplainin, STEVE... Looks like you about to handle it!
Thanks
Major respect increase from a nobody in Norway.

Wow! Look at all that swag! Can't wait until the SM swag gets replenished! Love the videos! Keep up the good work!!
Damnit Steve, you’re killing it brother, you deserve to have 50x more views
I see the next shirt is. It's so easy even a cameraman can drive it
JimmyDale sends 3 bottles.... saying SPRAY IT🤣🤣
Really dig the trailblazer.👍
Jimmy THE ANIMAL Dale, Magic needs a SML
While cleetus has a cool channel, I love this channel the most !! I’m so glad that I was bought here by cleetus during the motor trade deal..
Would a wider lobe separation on the cam help by maintaining boost higher up in the rev range?
Mike Finnegan just put one of those harop blowers on his truck that's going to sema
I bought a nx kit off you around the year 2000 can’t wait to see the snx dyno test!
Do it for jimmy dale!
LMAO @ the amount of swag they packed
Are you putting that NOS sticker on the rear window of the shop truck or the wagon 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That big block would make a great marine engine.
I love N20 for spool up! Especially big turbo 4cyl and 6cyl stuff. Turns things into an animal real quick! 😂. Stage 0 is 50-75 shot for turbo spool, and stage 1/2 is the TB setup. That’s a lot of spray for sure!
Cams heads Flow have Efficiency in certain Applications..
I really like that blower, especially the Jack shaft. So it points in the right direction
The BBC “ BIG BLOCK CHEVROLET” 💀🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Paint the nitrous bottles like the Galaxy bottles but instead of Galaxy name them “Blasphemy”
Blasphemy Berry is the flavor, lol.
Hey Steve, just curious, do you notice any difference in throttle response with that throttle body an extra foot away from the intake manifold? Would that possibly contribute at all to the feeling of turbo lag, especially at part throttle?
Add a small kit to the wagon to get it in to the 5's!
You need to convince Cleetus to put a little shot on the Dale Truck.
He just got got ass handed to him, and it was ALL on the leave. 😮😢
I needed another video thank you 🙏🏻
Steve will you offer an intake for the Magnussen for the Small Block Chevy too? My understanding is that Harrop is working on this as well.
Hit Cleetus up about the Nitto since they sponsor him
Your spark plugs called in sick. They're drunk on nitrous.
Bet Harrop doesnt give me a thanks for you getting in contact with them. Love your passion and knowledge Steve your a legend. Thanks for sharing it.
You need a camera above the Engine,in your dyno room!
Never thought the day would come where I hear Steve excited about nitrous.
😳😂
@@stevemorrisracing love what you do Steve. Keep it up!
What is the intake temp on the 540 with your manifold and chiller? Ice water or tap water?
the way i see it power adders are like guns sure one may be cooler or you may prefer one over the other but they all deserve love!
Jimmy dale is the man
Is that a quad turbo jetski with towing mirrors behind Steve? Bummer if its not.
I really want to know more about the black boat!
@30:43 See how Steve heart melt when Kyle put out all Steve effort with Nitrous SMX 🤣 Like is brain have say : Gosh not another revision.

It is and will

Loved the video. Thanks for all the learning.
