- 5 American Cars NOT Ruined by Clout! For JDM Cars NOT Ruined by Clout, check out my other video linked at the end of this one! For European cars not ruined by clout, well first we need to make one for Euro Cars that WERE Clout Ruined. I swear to God y'all better not just tweet a bunch of European Meme cars, in fact I'm already making a rule, I know I promised I wouldn't. But so help me God, the Reliant Robin is banned. We are not about to have the entire video just be variations of the Reliant Robin.

Don't you dare raise my firebird prices
Bro Fr
Too bad
Too late lmao firebird generally sell for more then camaros of the same year however both lt1 firebirds and camaros you can still get a reliable running car under 10k
Real
Firebird prices have been up for the last few years mate, it’s only going down from here.
Pontiac be like, better to die a hero and rather than live long enough to be a villain
😭😭😭
I swear they made good as hell cars that ended up being dirt cheap and you get a V8 with them
No all electric here!
Have you seen the Atzec?
@skeletonbuyingpealts7134 hello the g8 sedan?
Dodge charger / challenger was ruined by clout, but positively, they’re way cheaper now after they always get repoed or totaled 😂
The one time clout lowers a car’s price LOL
Or stollen
If they’re not all ratted out and trashed, that is lol. Otherwise definitely
Not worth it the cycle will continue
Too bad clouds can't touch the viper
The Cobalt SS was my first car.

one of the only reason ppl remember the pontiac GTO
same

My friend had one and then blew the motor
a few others, dodge stealth r/t, dodge neon srt, de tomanso patera, and amc rebel
GM closing the doors on Pontiac is like GM's nod to Pontiac owners
"We'll keeo your cars affordable, sonny"
yet clout bois gonna screm"pontiac bad!!1!!11!" because all the iconic nameplates of America is being owned by these chaosbros and illegally shredding public roads and now being confiscated by police😂😂😂
Pinto could make a really good first AND last car, if you think about it
Early suggestion for underrated EU cars: Opel GT, since the Solstice is already on this list)
It is cheaper than a Coffin after all😂
You know the Ad :
"Pinto leaves you with that warm warm feeling"
The Lotus based Opel is so much more impressive and way more neat.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
What do you mean "Gen Z doesn't remember the Pontiac GTO"!?!? Darn it, I played NFS carbon yesterday!!!
I’m a Gen Z (early Gen Z, born in 1997) and I know what a GTO is.
But Carbon doesn't even have GTO there, only Vauxhall Monaro
Most wanted baby! I used the Monaro over the GTO cause it looked cooler.
Is the GTO & the Monaro VXR the same car?
@b.deonchris yeah. It's the first Pontiac rebadge of an Aussie car. The second and sadly last one was the Commodore / G8 twins.
I hope the price of these cars doesn't go up

Me to I planned a barracuda build after my classic Mustang was finished
Commenting to follow this post in 5 years when the price of a Ford pinto is 45k
@@BladedAngelyou know exactly what you're doing 🤣 I love it. Good thing my eyes are set on a van next no more cars
@@BladedAngelSIR! are 7th gen Celica or ke70 corolla, Not ruined by clout and overprice...
The pinto.. I think I can explain. It’s the modifications that can be made to it that make it so pleasing. Once you get the glaring issues of the gas tank fixed - either with moving it or using a puncture proof model, you can potentially have a lot of fun with this car. If you drop either the ecoboost engine in or the fox body SVO engine from the 1980s (if you can find one and afford it), you have a MONSTER and a total sleeper!
Saw quite a few with monster drag slicks on them. Before I knew about the first two years and the puncture issue, I knew they were favored for lightweight, big power monsters.
Nice.
It already has a 2.3 option, there's no difference between it's 2.3 and the 2.3 turbo, but the head, intake, and efi.
7:58 Jesse we have to cook
I mean the pontiac solstice will likely npt survive attacks from large autonomous sentient mechanical organisms from space, weve seen one be ripped in half by Megatron back in 2007.
My grandpa has a Plymouth Barracuda....now it's just resting in our old garage but he gave me the keys because he can't maintain it anymore and he doesn't have the time to keep in shape....now it's my responsibility
Put it on the road!
So the ford pinto is basically a car that wants to kill you right? All I am hearing is a slower budget version of the first generation viper.... Count me in.
Actually a bit of love they were adored in autocross and circle track 😂😂
Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky are fun little roadsters
An American Miata but with terminal understeer. I wish I didn't lose mine.
Fun fact: The Saturn Sky was rebranded in europe as Opel GT
@@ricsoswat3683 I actually knew that and I think it's cool
I truly believe those cars would have been miles better than the miata had they not gone out of business. The amount of power they managed to squeeze into those ecotec engines was amazing at the time. Just the base model 2009 solstice makes almost as much power as a 2024 ND miata. The GXP/ redlines were like micro missiles.
Random fact: Gumball Watterson's station wagon is an amalgamation of the Ford Country Squire & the Ford Pinto.
Ford Probe has pop-ups and is immune to drift tax (fwd) and has a japanese engine inside of it!
Its story of it almost replacing the Mustang really overshadows it, its a fun car.
Yes! Love my 93 GT!
It really was a good looking car, but the name was really off putting.
Another Pontiac; the Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. The fwd SUPERCHARGED 3.8 v6 is one of the most bulletproof and underrated engines of all time. The engine itself was a spiritual successor to the grand nationals twin turbo v6 (believe it or not). You can buy them for pocket lint and toe nail clippings, they got a similar reliability reputation of a 90s Corolla, and the 3800 v6 has a surprising amount of potential for horsepower. But because it’s a fwd car, the clout bois turn their head at this car.
GM also made MILLIONS of 3800 series V6s over every single brand that had GM badging on it so parts are everywhere and, if you need to make rare repairs, the engine bay is quite roomy and has easy access to any accessory drives etc. It was a great engine which means GM was obligated to kill it and replace it with a shittier successor.
FACTS💯💯💯💯💯
DONT TELL THEM. I LIKE MY 3800 JUNI YARD SUPERCHARED MOTORS
I'll add another Pontiac to the list: the 6000 STE. It has a smooth ride (it came with self-leveling suspension in the rear), pretty good design (if you like 80s boxy stuff), a really nice exhaust note, and the best part is the digital dash. Only problem is GM never offered a 5-speed for the STE level, only the 3-speed auto, but if you really wanted you could probably swap one in there.
Private this video
This wasn't mentioned in the video unfortunately _-maybe fortunately-_ but the 2008-2010 models of the Cobalt SS switched over from the supercharged engine (LSJ) to a turbocharged engine (LNF) which made 260 hp & tq from the factory. The SS sedan shown at 3:13 is actually a turbo sedan model. I'd say the easiest way to tell apart LSJ models from LNF models is to look at the wheels, the 05-07 models usually had a bulky 5-spoke wheel design whereas the 08-10 models usually had a wheel design similar to the ones on a C6 zo6.
Bladed raising car prices. Miss the hello guys bladed here now king
Ngl, I got hyped when the Cobalt was in the video. The funny thing for me was that the Cobalt SS was one of my childhood cars. I was exposed to it in NFS most wanted where that thing was a fwd terror if you could max it out in the campaign. Plus it had a fun way of torque steer. It could go into the torque steer and the fwd would pull it back into position compared to rwd fish tailing in the same scenario.
I had such a good paint setup for it in most wanted as well. Hard metallic blue with red metallic stripes hugging the fender end with a color shift to the same blue. Gave off a really cool opacity to the red stripes without molding the two colors to a purple. I would love to replicate that paint job if I ever get my hands on one of them.
At least, I would but I can't fit in one well so rip. Being big and tall sucks.
Cobalt ss is one of my favourite fwd cars (right after the newest hyundai elantra, cant blame that it looks very dope). I played nfs most wanted on my childhood too, it was my go-to starter car in the game lol. I play nfs world too and recreated the cobalt i built back on my childhood in there.
My brother has a supercharged cobalt SS. Modified to make about 300 hp to the wheels. That thing is an absolute death trap. Also, for like $1000-$2000 more, you can get one of the later turbo versions with the same engine as the sky redline and a factory LSD to keep it in check. Honestly, any of the ecotec cars from the mid 2000's could go here. Cobalt SS, ion redline, sky redline, solstice GXP, and even the HHR SS
With the exception of the HHR SS Panel van, I’ll agree
Every modern GTO owner I’ve met/known was a responsible and knowledgeable car guy. They all worked on their cars, obviously they were all GM fans, and they knew the GTO was a jewel. They were all well taken care of cars. I can’t recall ever seeing one beat to hell. Regardless of it looking nothing like it’s predecessor, I’ve grown to really appreciate its design, and at the time humbling performance. At some point I’d love to own one of these babies as well, and keep her stock.
I own a 2007 silver Pontiac Solstice GXP. I take it to car shows and people still to this day ask me about it at the shows. Definitely deserved to be on this list.
Well to be fair to the Pinto there was one American car that was worse at that time, the Chevrolet Vega, what a turd.
Not now honey, Bladed Angel uploaded
Th Roadrunner and Cuda are two of my favorite muscle cars. I'm not even much of a Mopar guy, but both of them just ooze what it means to be a muscle car.
Also the GTO is on the list for when I go to buy my next car. Hard to find them where I live but for the right car at the right price I'll go where I need to.
Honestly, if you can address the safety concerns of the Ford Pinto. I honestly don’t see why it couldn’t make for a good project to get a start in the hot rodding or pro touring scene.
Ford already addressed the safety concerns with the Pinto, they were forced to recall it eventually so the cars were all retrofitted with components that protect the tank in the event of a collision. Pintos are perfectly fine nowadays. Also the Pinto wagons never had exploding gas tank issues to begin with.
@@Thinginator Oh, nevermind my initial statement about the safety concerns then.
being an Australian and seeing that GTO at the end. Man, that Holden Monaro really looks funny with left hand drive.
Third gen Firebirds are pretty damn overlooked, as long as you find one that wasn't turned into a Knight Rider clone
Facts
Thanks for mentioning it’s also the pontiac got is also Holden Monaro I always loved it
Bladed Angle How you doing? Love the videos. Just wondering what the name of the Buick is made Crown Vic is?
Unfortunately the gto holds the monaro name and therefore hold the cashed up bogan tax. Like they're 50k aud man 😭
i know right, the fact that they are cheaper in america than they are here is fucking criminal.😢
i’m curious, how expensive are corvettes then in aus?
@@apollosnipes6405 depends on the gen. 3 to 5 will run you for 30 to 50k depending on many factors, maybe as low as 20k if its been abused beyond belief. C6 is pushing 100k, c7 150-200k, c8 240k+ unless its slightly used maybe as low as 200k.
People who KNOW of the 2004-2006 GTO fully KNOW it's worth and how much of a bargain it really is. To this day I'm am surprised how peeps ignored it. Funny part is that many almost instantly remember it's a GOAT when they see one IRL.
My dad had a cobalt SS growing up and my earliest car memories are being glued to the back of the seat whenever he took off. I recently bought a Focus RS and everytime i drive i remember that car and will never forget it.
I was luck growing up in the late 70s/early 80s. Back then, the muscle cars were getting on in years and therefore were becoming affordable for someone in their 20s. Was fortunate to own a 70 GTO 4speed, a 69 GTO Convertible (auto on column), 74 Charger, 65 F-85 (2speed power drive) and 72 Grand Prix - someone painted it bright yellow and it was known around town as the "big banana". Had two Panasonic Thrusters (Floor standing speakers) in the back seat. They'd rattle the windshield). I also had a 73 Scamp, a 79 Monte Carlo (after I was married in 1991) then in 1992 a 1991 Grand Am. I now drive a 2024 Mustang GT convertible. This is a kind of homage to my late wife who I met when she was driving an 85 Must GT 5 speed and I had my GTO Convertible.
Fonally my car in a video! Love my little solstice gxp. First car and I daily it. Lacks storage but omg it is a quick little boy and the manual gearbox (that comes short shifter from factory), paired with the competitive mode and that amazing LSD are spot on!
I really am thankful there is still some community for these cars.
[3:45] In Brazil you would be bullied for riding in this car..."LÁ ELE" "SENTADO NO PINTO..." "ESSE É DO CARALHO"
Bladed if you break the cuda market even more me and the rest of the still very alive classic muscle heads are gonna have words.
Totally slept on the 90s Thunderbird/Cougar XR-7
I don't want to be pushing my luck but any chance of creating euro cars ruined and not ruined by clout videos? I would appreciate it. And thank you for the work
Fun fact about the firebird. The twin piston front calipers are a direct fit to Grand Am (provided you upgrade to 17s on the front at a minimum. 16s might work, but not recommended without testing).
I heard about it in a grand am forum I'm in, tested it in a junkyard, and am going to perform the upgrade when I finish moving since I needed to do brakes anyway and they cost basically the same as stock but don't suffer the uneven pad wear issue the stock brakes do.
Wake up babe bladed uploaded a new video
Hey, didn't expect me and my Pink Solstice to make it into the video! :o
I remember the Saturn Sky back in Dirt 3 as it was my first EVER DLC car I bought as a kid. It sadly didn't have a unique exploit unlike the Mini Gymkhana or the Scion TC when you played Outbreak (aka infected),but I loved it a lot nonetheless
Suggestion for underrated EU cars: Fiat Barchetta, Ford Puma, Opel Astra OPC, Opel Speedster, Opel GT, MGF/MGTF, Ford Cougar (could also be an underrated American car since in the US it was actually a Mercury Cougar)
🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
INSANE LIST INSANEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I LOVE YOU
I would personally shout out the Fiat X1/9 and the Panda 4x4 (the real one, the one with the Steyr 4x4), and the Opel Corsa B, just because they're hilariously fun deathtraps.
Or the Ford Capri and the Granada
@@necromax13 Speaking of deathtraps why not also include the Yugo, Fiat 126p, and Zastava 101? You look at those the wrong way you're dead
I want to see a video that can include the early velosters. You can find manual ones for under 6k in really solid condition with good mileage. Turbo or NA, with NA being cheaper but turbo being quite peppy
Congratulations, you opened the video with my dream car, and now i wont be able to get one because the prices will raise on them. Good job. Guess I'm stuck with an electric bicycle now.
Saw one Pontiac GTO but without the hood vents, it was black, everything mint and factory, my God that car have a lowkey hitman vibes, I love it
I’m a huge fan of the tuner culture and the “odd boy out style” cars, so this car I didn’t see but wanted to share: the Plymouth reliant k.
Yes, THAT. The reason why I bring this up is because it can easily get the SRT-4 engine and drivetrain fitted into it without much trouble - minus rust repair work and maintenance, then it can easily be used as one hell of a track car or something crazier.
A car id like to suggest would be the ford probe. its basically just a mazda fwd coupe with a (somewhat) practical liftback design and goes for almost anything under 10k. only hard part is finding someone that actually wants to sell it cause apparently people like holding onto them or there just arent that many left
I considered both the GTO and Solstice/Sky before I settled on a 350z. My main concern was on sourcing body panels and bespoke parts unique to both models.
(Also the 350z got scooped up by clout boys, but many manual models are still within the affordable status)
Was hoping to see the crown Vic on this link when I clicked because they really don't get enough respect but I will happily settle for the prices staying dirt cheap and then being the greatest hidden gem of the used car market
We need a part 2!! You forgot about the Chevy SS, Pontiac G8 and Caprice PPV, 3 holdens which prices have barely gone up, and get slept on even though they're all basically corvette sedans
Fun fact I had a 96 firebird formula with the LT1 motor as my first car when I was 18. Needless to say every stop sign in my town had some black marks by it. You could literally be doing 55 down the highway and put your foot all the way down and start spinning tires
As someone who bought an 02 f-body with the v6 as a first car. Definitely buy the firebird if you get the chance. It’s reliable, fun, and cheap enough to not feel bad about taking it on a gravel road (sideways)
Im very glad I subscribed
We have to pray that Bladed dosent spike in popularity so these videos dont get out there
Yes, make them aware of the untouched ones. great idea Einstein
Bladed when are we getting another real life or vlog video I want more real life car meet or car content
Can you do a video where you cover australian cars? & i regularly see monaro's running around where I live hahaha
Some info you left out is the Ecotec engine is used in the Cobalt, Soltice and Sky. There’s variations with the main ones being LNF and LSJ. LNF is the turbo platform and the LSJ is the supercharged platform. Funny enough people have reported better numbers when getting an LSJ and swapping it to turbo.
My friend got a manual base model colbalt after his 10th gen civic blew up from running way to much boost through it and it’s actually kinda fun to drive.
I have a suggestion for the euro cars video: E38 gen BMW 730i/740i.
A nice example sets you back ~$13-$15k, you could find a slightly rough one for around $10k. Rarity might be the only issue, I don't know how are they are in the US.
One underrated car that surprisingly didnt shoot up in value when people figured out its potential is the 1997-2004 Buick Regal GS. A pulley, downpipe, cold air intake, and a e85 tune and its shoots up from 240 to around 350 horses
My 98 Trans Am was my first car, got it when I was 17. I've loved every second of owning it.
I love the Pontiac g8 when it comes to the lineup of forgotten cars, looked great, rwd, super fun car
A good european car not ruined by clout is the peugeot RCZ, a sporty little fwd nugget with the styling principle of "what if a very rounded citroen and an ND miata had a drunken one night stand".
That's the RCZ, also being fwd removes it from the drift tax category, the engine might be not all that powerful but it is one tiny coupe, the backseats might be designed like modern, dystopian, flat, space saving plane seats, but they exist, plus considering it's not really from a brand that's known for cloutbois, not to mention just how spacious the trunk is for something that sleek, they really did snort a line of coca-cola when making it but it was clearly very high quality coca-cola cause they did something awesome, combine the docile stylings of a "your moms hatchback" car and the general driving experience of a semi-sports car, something great to carry your groceries to and from home, while still enjoying the experience, the peugeot RCZ definitely deserves a spot on the list of european cars that mostly flew over the radar in the U.S. in favor of more exotic european cars.
Dude a chevy cobalt in the snow is like fine wine its really nice
I have a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi. I gave it to my brother before he went into the military. He enjoys it. Sucks that Pontiac as a brand isn't as well respected as it use to. I remember their tagline was "Luxury with Attitude" when making their vehicles.
Someday I want you to review the Buick Rendezvous, not as a joke car but actually a thing
Saw a clean final gen gto that sounded like the man took care of its engine Vette rims Falken tires Willwood brakes nice clear tail lights and configurable supercharged v8 engine and a clean widebody kit that went with the flow of the car smooth and round edges small exhaust system and eyelid headlights a beautiful car
AMC Rambler. Rwd, stout inline 6 (later used in Jeeps), bought running one for my dad for 2500 for his birthday. Smog exempt too
Love when videos like these dont include the car i want and am saving up for, and i do plan to gate keep it atleast until i get one
one thing i learned after disillusioned from the "i need to own a lamborghini to feel good" is that most sedan/coupe's look pretty good if the suspension height and the wheels are changed right.
Cobalts also came turboed later on, contract with the supercharger company ran out, they made their own turbos, car made 250 hp stock after that
My favorite car is the Plymouth Roadrunner 1968, it's not a cheap car at all, but that car has my favorite look of any car ever, the best sound I've personally ever heard and while yes I AM a old V8 fanboy when it comes to their sound, that one IN PERSON is sooooooo good.
And I also like that Plymouth has a cheaper car that looks similar but much more to a Dart, the tailights however are the same style but this time in the form of a Valiant of which they did some V8 models of, and if I can't get the Roadrunner cause honestly that's a lotta commitment to saving, I will definitely go for the V8 Valiant cause it is juuuuuust as nice in my opinion. So long as it's got that Plymouth badge I'm all for it.
I own a pinto and a delta chasis car! Good lost id say lol. U definitely underplayed the cobalt ss. The cobalt ss can be had with a super charger, turbo charger or na. The Turbo ones are roughly 250 hp and if u want a 4 door the hhr ss (which i have) can be bought as its the same platform. Love my hhr ss and my pinto
WE SHOOTIN UP PRICES WITH THIS ONE!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
I was 4 when the GTO came out and have wanted one since. My grandpas favorite car is the 1964 GTO, ive always wanted to cruise with him in them.
I was born in the same year as the LS2 GTO and did a lot of wallriding in the GTO in NFSU2... I couldn't forget this car if even if I tried
The NFSMW theme is blasting in my mind at most of these
That reminds me, time to get the GTO out and ready for summer
I daily drive an 06 Pontiac GTO. I absolutely love it. I'm almost surprised it is in this list though due to all the G8s and GTOs that end up at street takeovers.
Got my solstice at $5k. Bladed about to make me a few grand 😂
in 2008 the chevy cobalt ss changed to a turbo'd engine, the same 260HP LNF engine that is in the saturn sky redline and pontiac solstice GXP! at the time the turbo variant was the fastest car on the nurburgring in its class.
I unironically love all of the cars in this list. Especially the pontiacs and the cobalt ss.
Tho Id like to adress one thing for the pinto, yes theyre basically a moving fire hazard, but the wagon pintos are actually much much safer because of the longer body, it added the safety that the hatch pintos lacked.
The ‘71 cuda that you showed when talking about Plymouth are ridiculously expensive right up there with, and actually beyond some, camaros and especially nonshelby mustangs
A couple I found is a Ford Probe and I guess kind of the forgotten Probe which is my Gf's car, the very last Cougar
i still want a cobalt ss, thanks to need for speed most wanted
also, thepontiac bonneville SSEI, and GXP trims are great fun for cheap
What a great line “ we don’t need modern clout to burn this cars rep to the ground, most of the cars did it themselves selves”😂😂
My supercharged 3800 is still hidden from clout culture. I like it
i mean if you got a pinto body and moved the fuel tank, did a SR20 swap or other engine of your choice, it’d or be a mean hot hatch and one hell of a sleeper.
but you’re probably gonna want beefier suspension and the works too so at that point you may as well buy something that’s less steps to get working
Nobody: 5 American cars that has not been ruined by clout culture
Bladed: Are you sure about that??
The Crown Vic has a drift tax because of Cleetus 😂
For when you do euro cars Id say almost any Volvo with a R after the number, I don't know if you wanna do multiple cars for one entry but yeah, pretty good sleepers.
What holds me back from liking the cobalt SS is how much I liked it in need for speed most wanted but then years later I saw a cobalt on a used car lot, got the keys to go look inside and when I sat in it idk just my gut said something was wrong. Sitting in that car just didn't feel right.
