My questions would be: "Last year you took over a bad NFL team. You would have a rookie starting quarterback. Did you actually think that you'd be 11-1 in December? Did you not understand that five wins would be a miracle, and that if your head blows up after losing two games, then this job might not be a good idea?" He should have thought of this year the way that I prepared my kids for junior high, "This is going to suck. People are going to be mean and ugly and things are going to go bad. Your job is to survive."

When you say lose two games don't forget to emphasize that they were preseason games. An "NFL" head coach head blew up after losing two preseasons games. Then didn't put in the hours to fix it, so how much do you hate losing as the captain of the ship when you're leaving work at 4 pm and your assistants are working late into the night game planning. Your premise is that Urban was fired ONLY because the Jags have a losing season this year. Considering that Shad Khan stuck with multiple coaches who had losing seasons, your premise does not seem to stand. I am pretty sure all the extraneous things besides the losing did Urban in. First and foremost is Urban’s default to lie even instead of taking responsibility. For example, pulling Robinson because he fumbled. Instead of just saying that it was a coaching decision that Urban made, it was “I don’t know” but some other guy made that decision.

I predicted Mac Jones would be better than Trevor last year. Trevor had several bad big games at the end of his college career and Mac Jones didn't. Lawerence is a better athlete in general but Mac is a more accurate and better decision making QB and I think that will make him more successful in the short and long term. Time will tell.
