@@radaction5743 Urban Meyer one of the most decorated coaches in college history was so awful that he lost the locker room in less than a season.
The media had nothing to do with the fact that it took several season for the Browns locker to turn on Jackson.
What you are hinting at but not saying is that Jackson was hired and kept because he was black.
Jackson turned the raiders 31 ranked offense to a top ten offense with with Jason Campbell and Mcfadden and Heyword Bey all considered busts.
Then the Raiders crashed back to 28th after he left.
Then Jackson took Andy Dalton who had thrown 36 int in the 2 years before Jackson arrived trimmed it to 24.
The issue with the Brown was they were a 3-12 team that began actively dumping their talent. Jackson didn't adjust his game plan to the fact that he had 3rd string QBs
When he had starters his record was 2-5-1 and 8-8 with the Raiders
Thats why he isn't considered as bad as Urban. Not because he is black. Everything isn't about race.

@@danieldougan269 Caldwell got screwed in Detroit. He took the Lions (29-51 in the 5 years leading up to his hire) and finished with a 36-28 record and two playoff visits in four years. For Detroit, that's legendary, but for the figure heads, it wasn't good enough. They said they needed to "take the next step" when they fired him. After 4 years that's SORT of reasonable, but he had the team trending up. They needed to keep him around and maybe consider different assistants or building some depth in FA or the draft to continue to build on what he started. Instead they fired the most successful coach the city has had since Wayne Fontes, brought in Quinn's buddy from NE who completely lost the locker room, traded away our best talents, and regressed to worse than it was before Caldwell got here.

Winning head coaches get new & more lucrative contracts while losing head coaches end up having to look for another job - with a coach's level of character seldom a significant part of the equation.

It makes you wonder every time the offence take the field is that Bieniemy drawing up the play's or is it Andy Reid? For example look at Matt Patricia and Matt Nagy both were consider "Amazing Coordinators" when they where with New England and Kansas City, but once they became head coaches they were absolutely terrible.

Eric Bienemy is brad Childress 2.0 Whichbis not bad but not great. He simply doesn’t interview well. He was our running back coach with Vikings before taking chiefs job. His PR relations need work. That’s half of Eric’s issue in these jobs. Personally I would get coached in how to interview and public speaking like a dale Carnegie course. They would really help Eric in his interviewing process. He would have had Texan job if he interviewed well. May not seem great but it’s a better job than Jets, Carolina or jags. It has a rabid fan base. A good history. Just looking for coach to set right culture. The guy they hired from ravens just beat the chargers and won two straight in a rebuilding year. Can’t ask for more. Lots of young players getting better. Look at jags and jets in comparison Texans are improving those two are train wrecks waiting to run off the tracks!!’
