We're super excited to be in China 🇨🇳 and can't wait to explore this beautiful country😍 We were told NOT to visit China for various reasons and the western media would have you thinking it's not a place you should visit. Our experience could not be any different as we've met so many friendly locals, have OPENLY filmed everywhere without any issues and have tried the BEST food as well. Drop below any recommendations you have for China and what we should do. We aim to show the REAL China in the upcoming vlogs 🙂
It is recommended that you visit Hangzhou and Suzhou, which are near Shanghai, which have more traditional Chinese characteristics and more beautiful scenery.
Many of the media that tell you how terrible China is are paid by the U.S. government. It is their job to publish anti-China statements or they are brainwashed by the media’s anti-China remarks. What’s ridiculous is that these people have never been to China or left China 20 years ago. They have no understanding of the current situation in China.
I am see more and more westerners are traveling to China. They will see the real China completely the opposite of what the western mainstream media reports. I have met a young couple in Thailand recently. They were from US and they were traveling from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and then to Cambodia and Vietnam and before going back to US. We have happened to have a casual friendly conversation and I have asked them since they are so near to China, why not go to China just for a few days to see China. I told them China is very interesting, But I was surprised of what they told me. They said according to all their media reports in US and advice by many people. They were advice and told not to travel to China. Even their parents don't allow them to go to China. They told China is not a safe country to travel. Very dirty, poor rundown infrastructures, poor transportation system, polluted, robbery is common even in broad daylight and chances of been detained for no reason by the Communist is very high. Because China is an authoritarian state and all foreign visitors are monitored by thousands of cameras everywhere, every minute where foreign visitors go. Foreign visitors from western countries can be detained for months or even years for no reason. All these is what they know about China. The couple is like below 25 years of age and already so badly brainwashed by their government-controlled media. This is really sad.
China is definitely not what the western media tries to portray, at least our experience in the country was amazing and we found it more liberating than the west. Not once were we asked anywhere to not record or film. No one questioned as even though we had cameras everywhere however if we were to go everywhere with cameras in the west, we would have been asked to stop filming. In the next vlogs coming up, we will share our incredible experience in China 🤩
Wow, I know it's particularly bad in the US, but I expected younger ppl to be less reliant on main stream media propaganda. I guess the propaganda is really working if absolutely everyone is repeating what they've been told. So many amazing videos on YT showing the complete opposite, but they're ignored or pushed down in the algorithm to suppress the truth. Sad indeed. Hopefully these vlogs will start to become more widespread, I've seen so many so I don't know how anyone could continue with the lies and nonsense.

I was pleasantly surprised when I went to China as well. If you get to check out the other Cities of China, you will also be amazed. Shanghai is amazing, but so is Beijing. Beijing is a circular city (ring roads), where the inner circle is the ancient Forbidden City, a wonderful tourist attraction. Then the 2nd Circle is a preserved Old China city (old Beijing). As you move to the outer Circles of the Beijing you end up with amazing futuristic sights. The 7th Circle is 1000kms to circumnavigate. You also have to see China's 2,500 year old Suzhou City, with a population of 11 Million (twice that of Sydney Australia). It is futuristic and is China's Venice, with wonderful canals, bridges, rivers ... a heaven on Earth.

What you are doing now is the very old Shanghai Maglev. . The previous running speed was 435. The speed limit is now 300. This car is very unstable. The speed of high-speed rail is 350 kilometers per hour. China's total high-speed rail mileage reaches 45,000 kilometers. This is currently the fastest speed in China. A coin can stand upright without falling over. Currently, a total of 6 maglev lines have been selected for project selection. The top speed is 1,000 kilometers per hour.
Oh! the meglev in Korea is low speed one. The one in China can run to 430 km/hr and Koreas' can only do 80 km/hr. Many cities have meglev now. their speed is 90~120 km/hr.
reason why it's all so much cheaper is because a lot of the industries are nationalized and government and state owned companies and corporations etc unlike that in America or other western countries like your country the UK
Wonderful video but I have a question for you, if I understood correctly, you apply the 144 hours transit visa once you got there right? At the airport in Seoul (in your case) before you check in your bags, they asked you if you had another flight booked within the 144 hours and then, when you arrived to Shanghai, you went directly to the visa desk with your fingerprints done and they allow you to enter the city right?
Yes, for the 144 hour visa you must have an onward flight booked out of China in under the 144 hours. When you arrive, you fill out an arrival form and take it to the 144 hours visa desk and they allow you to enter 😀
Shanghai maglav speed back in 2006 was way higher than 300km, they lowered the max speed to 300km since 2010. I tried out Shanghai maglav 2 times in 2006 and 2010.
Shanghai Maglev is the only in the world able to reach this speed (431km/h operational speed ) Korea maglev is just like MRT and Japan maglev is not operating yet. And BTW Shanghai Maglev was built by Germany company Siemens

Oh wow thanks for the useful info 😊
it's pity you didn't catch the 400km/h maglev. It's available in a few time slots.
301kmh was EPIC too 🥰
@@sunkissedbucketlist中国未来几年内建成上海到杭州的超级高铁,真空管道和磁悬浮技术结合,阻力几乎为零,时速1000km/h,😂很疯狂……

Mantap!
🤩
pudong airport maglev goes up to 430km/h - but only at certain times during the day. all other times its set to 300km/h max.
Wow that’s crazy! 😝
high speed rail can go up to 350km per hour.
That’s incredible 🤩
Nice video ❤❤❤❤
Thank you 🤩
What you are doing now is the very old Shanghai Maglev.
1000km would be so cool 🥰

Thank you so much 🥰
Next to Shaanxi Xi’an City by High Speed Train from Shanghai … go to Hua San Mountain … and visit to Terracotta Warriors … and Moslem Quarter

China is indeed amazing 🤩
the maglev originated from german, germany train too is famous in china, germany also taugh china to build high speed train thats why its succes now

I went to Shanghai in August. The city was.very crowed back then i guess people hang out more when the weather was not this cold.
I think you’re right ☺️
Merry koreanmas
Hahah! To you too! 🤩🎅🏼
Very nice
Thanks 🤩
Oh! the meglev in Korea is low speed one. The one in China can run to 430 km/hr and Koreas' can only do 80 km/hr. Many cities have meglev now. their speed is 90~120 km/hr.
We didn’t get a chance to try the Korean maglev 😊
reason why it's all so much cheaper is because a lot of the industries are nationalized and government and state owned companies and corporations etc unlike that in America or other western countries like your country the UK
Welcome
Thank you 🤩
China is beautiful 😂😂Enjoy
We totally agree 🥰💯
the peak speed is 431km/h during certain time period of the day.
Wow 😮
中国欢迎你们❤🎉
Thank you so much 😊
So the trip was Indonesia-Srilangka-South Korea-China, sir?
That’s correct 👍🏻
Wonderful video but I have a question for you, if I understood correctly, you apply the 144 hours transit visa once you got there right? At the airport in Seoul (in your case) before you check in your bags, they asked you if you had another flight booked within the 144 hours and then, when you arrived to Shanghai, you went directly to the visa desk with your fingerprints done and they allow you to enter the city right?
Yes, for the 144 hour visa you must have an onward flight booked out of China in under the 144 hours. When you arrive, you fill out an arrival form and take it to the 144 hours visa desk and they allow you to enter 😀
welcome to 上海
Thank you 🤩
do you know why shanghai‘s airport looks empty?because the airport is so huge and people are scatter。
Hahah that’s true 😂🤩

Shanghai maglav speed back in 2006 was way higher than 300km, they lowered the max speed to 300km since 2010. I tried out Shanghai maglav 2 times in 2006 and 2010.
You should go see Barrett in Shenzen, he is a good China YT from Britain.
Thanks ☺️
Shanghai Maglev is the only in the world able to reach this speed (431km/h operational speed )
Korea maglev is just like MRT and Japan maglev is not operating yet.
And BTW Shanghai Maglev was built by Germany company Siemens
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice
Thanks 🤩
Welcome to China.
Thank you 🤩
Sorry guys, they reduced the speed, used to be 400km/h. Now 300km/h trains are everywhere in China, between cities and provinces etc.
Oh wow, that’s still pretty fast 😮
祝你们在中国的旅行愉快! the most important thing is keep relax and chill in china
We are chilling out indeed haha 😊🥰
好像有一趟速度达到430公里,,其他都在330左右

Spring airlines is the one of the airlines based in China equivalent to, like Ryanair, or Jetblue. let's just say leg room and service is not their strong points, but still beat easyjet en every way, lol
Haha pretty true! 😂
If you try the high-speed train in China,it can go at 350km/h❤
Wow 🤩
Hi,Dude, The Spring Airlines is a budget airlines in China . Tiny legrooms ,have to buy extra luggages,no food
Apart from the tight leg room everything else was very decent and we wouldn’t mind flying with them again ☺️
Nice.
