Yo bro, im from Ronaldinho's country (BRAZIL), so, what i can tell u is... Ronaldinho was not the most professional player, he got the highest peek ever, but for only two seasons, So, in those two seasons, he was the best player EVER, not only for those years. But then... he started to downfall a little... partys and stuff... Thats why ppl talk about Messi and Cristiano that much... cuz they are doing for 15 years, but not in the same level Ronaldinho did in this seasons... He was out of this world. And yeah, best dribbler ever, showman... U see the level here 03:28, he went Against Gattuso, Pirlo, Nesta, Stam, players that are known for being the best in their positions...crazy.

Late 1988 a little, 18yr old Brazilian kid came to PSV Eindhoven, Nederland. Romario de Souza Faria. Our Legend. 98 goals in 109 games. I saw him for 5 years live, in our Philips stadium.
In 1994 a 17yr old Ronaldo Luiz Nazario de Lima came, on advice of Romario, to PSV. The fastest player I have seen live. 42 goals in 46 games. Both left for Barcelona after, and you know the rest.
We had a total of 25 Brazilians playing in Eindhoven, some amazing, some not so. Even today we have Mauro Junior(23),he came at 15 to our club.

11:25 Most of this footage is when he was playing at Barcelona in Spain, but he is Brazillian, and learned to play in this way playing Futsal in Brazil (Futsal is a small format version of football , 5 players each side, indoor on hardcourt with a smaller football, focuses on dribbling and technical skills)
Futsal and 5-aside versions of the game are based on technical play and quick paced passing ("5 aside" is similar to Futsal but played usually on 3g or Astro turf and with a full size ball)
Most people play 5 -aside in football countries because its easier to organise for normal people and their day to day lives, but so much translates from 5 aside to 11 aside that , the 2 are very interchangeable, and all the pro 11 a side teams will train with small format games to improve technical aspects of play

He learned to play in brazil, but he developed his style from Okocha at PSG. Ronaldinho also said it and if you watch Okocha play, you see the similarities. Okocha was great with his style, but Ronaldinho surpassed him

      @viniciusmeneses9161 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@nicolasmayer618 actually, he said that he was inspired by Ronaldo Fenomeno and Garrincha. He played with Okocha, but to be fair... Ronaldinho style was the same when he used to play for gremio, his first soccer club, BUT... he got better. I believe that there are similarities between okocha and ronaldinho, but, i believe there are even more similarities with Ronaldo.

I know most people mainly look at records and trophies, but this guy was IT. That simple.
He destroyed the biggest players, and went back for second's. I respect Maradona, Pele, Romario and many others. But if you ask me who is the best player, on that level, it's Ronaldinho. The control, technically, passing, shooting, taemspirit, and pure joy. he was complete. He is that "Anytime, Anywhere" kind of guy. Dude just loved partying more.
If this man would have taken it too a Cristiano Ronaldo level input, he would be truly the greatest.

That trophy is le Ballon d'Or ("Golden Ball"). It's essentially an MVP trophy. The difference is, it's the MVP in the world, not just one league.
Unlike American sports, there are multiple leagues with elite world class players. At the moment, most pundits and fans agree that the English league is best from top to bottom.
At varying points in the last few decades, the best league might have been in Spain, Germany, or Italy - and certain clubs from those leagues might still be considered at least equal to, if not better than, nearly any in England. The French, Dutch, and Portuguese leagues are a step behind, but also very good.
Historically, the Brazilian and Argentinian leagues have also been very strong. But, in the modern economics of the sport, money is concentrated in Europe. Although the South Americans still produce more elite footballers than anywhere else, the best Brazilians, Argentines, Uraguayans, etc do not play in their domestic leagues.
For reference, most publications consider the American MLS to be approximately the tenth best domestic league on Earth. MLS haters (there are plenty of those) disagree - they think it's much lower on the list. I don't. Tenth sounds about right to me. However, there's a *HUGE* drop from the top 3-4, to the next best 3-4, and another big drop to the next level after that.
In terms of technical ability on the ball, it doesn't get any better than prime Ronaldinho. There have been and are currently, better *all around* players. But for sheer, joyful, glorious skill.... He's the best ever to lace 'em up.

  • @Deencat_

He remains the most technically gifted player to ever grace a football pitch. There has never been another with a touch like his.

For me the most impressive skill he shows in the video the clip isn’t really clear. He is juggling outside the box, serves it in off the crossbar right back to himself. Continues juggling and does it again. The amount of skill that took and the risk of error is off the charts.

no wonder it's probably the best video you have watched so far, the original is by JavierNathaniel my second favorite football highlights chanel and it's his best video, i suggest "Ricardo Quaresma - sublime showboat skills and goals" (might mute the music tho)
