Ronaldinho was the archetype for Messi and R7. He was Messi's mentor. And was who Cristiano wanted to be. Watch C7 and you will see a pale comparison of Ronaldinho. It's a shame he took clubbing more serious than football. No one has come close to Ronaldinhos physical abilities since. LEGEND!!!

I've been in FC Barcelona Stadium since 1996 going to every game. The best player I've seen is Messi but the only player I've seen, that every time he touched the ball, you could hear the whole stadium saying: "awe", is Ronaldinho! He had some magic trick for every situation!

Ronaldinho was Messi’s mentor at Barca ❤ and would have been considered one of the top three all time best ever footballers ever if only he trained as hard as he partied 😂 but that’s Brazilians for you.
As it was his peak only lasted 3/4 years while he was in Barcelona where a very young Messi was starting out. However he is still in my top 6 players ❤ He is retired now but still plays charity matches 👍
Other players I recommend you check out are Pele; the grandfather of football, Maradona, Johan Cruyff, who is considered almost the creator of modern football, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Neymar Jr and Steven Gerard.

  • @nextlevel2426

On pure skill and talent he is the goat of all times.. nobody was or is better than him when he was in his prime.. he wasn't as disciplined as messi or ronaldo, he loved to party alot off of the field, he was so skilled that a lot of times he didn't even practice and just showed to the games and do what you just got done seeing in this video. Although he didn't have the longevity in his prime that some other players have had he still won all of the major trophies.. lastly, he asked to bring up 16yo messi to the big barcelona team, back then messi was shy and didn't speak much but dinho took him under his wing and mentored him. dinho was friend with kobe bryant, although he was in his prime he told kobe that messi who was 17 at the time would be the best in the world.. irregardless of how undisciplined he is my favorite player, I still haven't seen anyone display so much skill and talent. There are other videos that show more of his abilities.

At his prime, he's the best in the world. Scored that many goals and assists as a no. 10 playmaker/midfielder. Also, a great momentum changer. He just lacked longevity. May be he just got bored. Even Ramos and Nesta couldn't do a thing when he was at that level.

He's not just a dribbler... he made the whole world love football with his smile, his passion for football and amazing, smooth tricks! While playing for Barcelona, the biggest rivals team (Real Madrid) fans stood up clapping after his 2 amazing goals, at 6:22 in this video! He has an effect on everybody on this planet, nobody dislike him! He is actually a true legend, not only because of his skills, but because of how he made the world love football, that is what a true legend does.
Fun fact, he played with professional players from all over the world like cat playes with a mouse, while he did not take seriously most trainings, imagine if he did! He was always 2-3 steps ahead of his opponents. Look up Joga Bonito, it was inspired by him and his crazy skills.

14:33 Im 41 I started playing when I was 2 years old, and in teams from 5 yeas upwards, the level of difficulty on this goal is so insane I cannot even explain it but I will give it a go. To beat a keeper near post is hard, to do it from that angle is very hard, to do it with a chip is incredible, to keep the chip down but high enough that the keeper cant get it and fast enough the defence cannot intercept , and just squeeze it inside the post, mid stride , which makes the precision that much harder, is pure Madness anyone of those aspects would make it a great finish, 2 make it world class, but this combination is god tier level. It's the sort of shot a Keeper will never expect because only a handful of people will ever try it, let alone have the ability to pull it off in a Pro game

  • @prefono
    @prefono 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Why do other players almost never do these things? Because Ronaldinho, who obviously was a great champion, played for fun. A great player does what it takes to win. He can do the same things you see in this video but he only does them in training or with friends because the safest and most effective way to overcome an opponent is to pass the ball away from him. A great champion thinks in the same way so he chooses the safe solution, but talent is instinctive... Every now and then the champion thinks of something that no one else sees and creates something brilliant. Ronaldinho, on the other hand, is a rare category of player: he didn't do what it takes to win but what he liked to do and his joy and his dances can be seen in the video. If to overcome the opponent he wanted to pass the ball between his legs or over his head he did it. It's not a choice that always pays off but it's a beautiful show. It's also important to understand that Ronaldinho started playing futsal before football and in that sport you don't have the space to escape an opponent: you have to face him directly and overcome him by inventing something. If you watch any futsal compilation, you will immediately see that all the players are making the same moves you saw in the Ronaldinho video, but without being rich or famous. Certain players are chosen to win a final. You chose someone like Ronaldinho to fill stadiums and sell ads. He used all his tricks in matches and it was great to see him play.

I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s like Messi. Yes they both excel at dribbling, but it’s very different styles. Ronaldinho was all about the skills and tricks. Messi is just pure efficiency when he dribbles, keeps it “simple”.

In football the Goat isn't a simple answer. It's a century of Legends. Perspective is also important.
It's not just record goals and trophies. Dani Alves has 43,no one names him the best. C Ronaldo the most goals for now.
But are we just putting Pele, Maradona, Romario, Cruyff, Ronaldo de Lima, Eusebio, Charlton, or George Best aside?
Life is full with "If's", but If Ronaldinho would have lived serious for the sport, he would have won more then he did.
Most Brazilian players, (including Romario, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Neymar, and Robinho) love partying and women more, then football. But No one loved parties more then George Best. Sadly he partied himself to death.

Hey @ChrisCobraReacts New Subsciber in the United Kingdom 👋🤗. I watched a Documentary featuring David Beckham once, and because he has 100% respect & is in AWE of the amazing football players who are Brazilian, with Ronaldhino being "right up there" with the BEST players in the World. So David visited Brazil in this Documentary, because he was more than aware that really young boys there have such a passion for Football, the same passion and talent we see in abundance with the likes of Ronaldhino & Ronaldo. These little boys, just like the afore mentioned amazing footballers, start playing and start practicing MAD magical skills & capability at a VERY young age,and David knowing this, he just joined in, in a random football game these kiddos were playing on a beach in Brazil and BOY did they astonish him and BLEW his MIND.He was expecting to see some magic but what he saw and experienced surpassed ALL expectations he had.He openly admitted that their unique but incredible football playing and STYLE of playing was WAY beyond his OWN and i think it made his heart smile, knowing that who he was playing football WITH that day, no matter HOW young they were, were MANY future Ronaldhino's & Ronaldo's who, one day at some point, every football fan around the WORLD would get the pleasure and blessing of watching them play and blown away with their much practiced awesome ball tricks, off the chart ball control and unbelievable skilled footwork.
I wish i could remeber the name of the Documentary, as it was quite emotional and overwhelming, but Davids' tears were VERY happy & hopeful ones...and HOW humble to be so happy for future magical players in Brazil...It was very telling regarding his OWN respect and passion for this particular Sport which ofcourse was HIS Sport, but after watching the likes of Ronaldhino play with HIS personal magic, which never ceased to become boring or lack passion, David knows exactly where he stands in the scheme of things...YES he played great football and scored many Goals, but would NEVER have the same MAGIC & FIRE that any football player that comes out of Brazil seem to have in abundance.(When my Sons were both 8 yrs old, I suggested to my ex husband, that we relocate to Brazil, which could be beneficial for their love for playing football & i will never forget his reply..."No that would be a total waste of time, cos over there, being 8 yrs old is WAY too old to start "picking up the tools of the trade"...those little boys in Brazil have SELF TAUGHT SUPER-SKILLS by the age of SIX" )😳🤔🙄😬🥴🤷‍♀🤦‍♀🤣!!!

13:21 well...of course they did it/do it with CR7 and Ronaldinho and also with Mbappe now...the difference is...that CR7 is much stronger taller and faster than Messi, so it was harded to foul him, same goes for Mbappe, he is one of thew fastest player on the planent right now (with the skill to also back up his speed...because with speed alone you are not gonna succeed in football) so it is very hard for people to hard foul a player like that, while Messi being slower but at the same time being the better dribbler, really draw the foul to him, even the players don't want to foul him, because you think you are taking the ball from him, but instead, because he is that good, you are kicking his legs...with Mbappe...you think you are taking the ball from him, and instead you are kicking the air and he is already past you and in front of goal.
