A female professor from the renowned Al-Azhar Islamic University in Cairo, Egypt, says Muslim men are allowed by Allah to rape non-Muslim women in order to “humiliate” them. Watch the video at this link: www.liveleak.com/view?i=f74_14...
To the Muslims claiming I’m wrong for using the word “rape” in the video, as the Islamic Sources didn’t actually use the word “rape”. My response is: well I could have used the words “sexual assault” but I chose “rape” for the following reasons. Think about it, there is more than one way to rape a woman. A woman could be physically forced to have sex or she could be psychologically forced to have sex due to some kind of traumatic circumstances, similar to the women whom I mentioned in my video. Women who had been taken as war captives, women who had witnessed the horrors of battle, women who had just witnessed their husbands being defeated in war by Muslim soldiers, women who were worrying about the safety of their husbands who themselves had been taken captive. Ibn Katheer in his commentary on the Qur’an stated these Muslim soldiers wanted to have sex with these female captives. Perhaps these women had heard about those evil plans? Just imagine what they were going through? In this kind of situation starting a new marriage life with strange enemy soldiers would be the last thing such women would desire. Listen, I’m no psychologist, but common sense dictates that in a situation like that such women would have been emotionally or physiologically incapacitated. Such female victims of Islamic Jihad would be incapable of giving any sane honest consent to have sexual intercourse with any man other than her already existing husband. So there you have it, now you know why I used the word “rape” in my video. I believe it accurately describes the situation. When you force a divorce upon a terrified physiologically incapacitated woman and then you try to marry her to have sex with her, than I say that such a sexual encounter is not a valid marriage at all, but is basically rape. You don't need to say the word "rape" to convey the same meaning.

About what this guy says (I do not know his name).. You have to ask when is a Muslim allowed to fight in a war first.
You are not allowed to attack people if they do not attack you first and are being hostile towards you. If they do not attack you (try to kill you or harm you/torture you), boycott you (not allow you basic human needs such as food or water), drive you out of your home, take away your children, you are not allowed to start a war!
You are not allowed to attack monks that are in their places of worship, women, children, the elder, the sick. You are not allowed to fight people that are not armed and involved in battle!
If people are that hostile and decide to attack Muslims injustly you must of course in the end (after the war has ended )take the one that remained alive hostages. You can't just leave them be with their family like nothing happened. If they were so evil from the start to attack you just for being Muslim, they would gather strenght and attack you again!!

It says that a relationship with them is permitted but you have to take responsability over them such as with a wife, take care of the children like you take care of your own, feed them with what you eat and give them from what you dress yourself with (same quality). which he so beautifully shared with his wife ‐ nothing; yet these topics must have hurt him, bothered him, and caused him pain and grief during periods of his life.

"Legal Muslim marriage" by definition means that both the man and the woman must tacitly claim willingness to be married to each other in front of at least 4 adult, and mentally sound witnesses, without any coercion or ulterior motives. An enslaved woman that is married by her former master, doesn't remain a slave afterwards, and is a free member of that society. And yet for some reason all YOU see there is that God is saying Muslims are allowed to rape the slaves to their hearts' content. Really?
"Forbidden" here means forbidden to marry (as context provided by the previous verse "Ch4-V23"). Hence "not forbidden" means that you can marry even an enslaved woman, and certainly not that you have permission to force yourself on her, because that falls under "illegal intercourse". Sahih Muslims mad bukhari have passages where during a war the followers of the prophet ask for permission to sleep with the female captives as their wives are far away, the prophet not only allows it but encouraged his followers to finish inside the women, Islam is a barbaric religion and muhammad was nothing more than a murdering, evil, terrible human being

Here you go. He deliberately ignored the below:
1 - Safiyah was given a choice by Muhammad to either remain a Jew and he would free her so she could return to her people, or that she becomes a Muslim and he would marry her. She, herself, chose to be become a Muslim and be married to the Prophet.
2 - The Prophet did not seek her out because of her beauty nor did he even know about her until one of the Muslim soldiers approached him and told him that he should take her as she was the daughter of the Chief of her people.
3 - The Prophet did not purchase her on the slave trade. She was one of the war captives. One of the soldiers took her as part of his share of the war booty which the Prophet later revoked as she was the daughter of the tribe’s Chief and worth much more than the other captives. By marryimg her he was honoring the defeated tribe as was common at the time.
4 - Her previous husband was far from being a good man, he beat her and she still had a black eye when she was brought before the Prophet. The reason why her previous husband beat her is because she had had a dream that she would marry the Prophet, she told it to her husband and he beat her. She told this story when she first met the Prophet and he asked about her “black eye”, it was then that he gave her the choice of remaining a Jew and her freedom or becoming Muslim and marrying him, she chose the latter.
5 - Her father (and husband) were from the most violent opponents and enemies of the Prophet and he stirred up the Arabs to attack the Muslims.
6 - The man who was killed for concealing part of his wealth had already made a pact of surrender with the Muslim army that included as a point of surrender that any who concealed his wealth would be killed. As for the torture before he was killed, I have no idea about that.
Here are the relevant narrations to back up the above:
لما دخلت صفية على النبي، صلى الله عليه وسلم، وسلم قال لها: لم يزل أبوك من أشد يهود لي عداوة حتى قتله الله. فقالت: يا رسول الله إن الله يقول في كتابه ولا تزر وازرة وزر أخرى. فقال: لها رسول الله: اختاري، فإن اخترت الإسلام أمسكتك لنفسي وإن اخترت اليهودية فعسى أن أعتقك فتلحقي بقومك. فقالت: يا رسول الله لقد هويت الإسلام وصدقت بك قبل أن تدعوني حيث صرت إلى رحلك وما لي في اليهودية أرب وما لي فيها والد ولا أخ، وخيرتني الكفر والإسلام فالله ورسوله أحب إلي من العتق وأن أرجع إلى قومي When Safiya came to the Holy Prophet (pbuh), he said to her; ‘Among the Jews your father did not stop in his enmity towards me until Allah destroyed him.’ She said: ‘O Allah’s Messenger! Indeed Allah says in His book, ‘No one will take anyone else’s burden’. So the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said to her: ‘Make your choice, if you will chose Islam I’ll select you for myself (marry you) and if you chose Judaism, I’ll set you free and send you to your people.’ She said; ‘O Allah’s Messenger indeed I longed for Islam and testified for you even before you gave me this invitation when I came to you. I have no guardian among the Jews, neither father nor brother and I prefer Islam over disbelief. Allah and His Messenger are dear to me then freedom and to return to my people.” (Ibn Saad 8/123)
In another narration the Prophet said to her: "You have the option, if you choose Islam I will marry you and take you to my house. And if you choose to remain a Jewess I will set you free and return you to your family. She said: "O' Prophet of Allah! I admired Islam and believed in you before you called me to Islam and became one of the Muslims. I have no interest in Judaism as well as I have no father or brother in it, and you gave me a choice between Judaism and freedom, and Islam, so Allah and his Messenger are more beloved and dearer to me than freedom and going back to my people." So the daughter of the King chose the Prophet and he married her”
فَأَصَبْنَاهَا عَنْوَةً فَجُمِعَ السَّبْيُ فَجَاءَ دِحْيَةُ الْكَلْبِيُّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ أَعْطِنِي جَارِيَةً مِنْ السَّبْيِ قَالَ اذْهَبْ فَخُذْ جَارِيَةً فَأَخَذَ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ حُيَيٍّ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ أَعْطَيْتَ دِحْيَةَ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ حُيَيٍّ سَيِّدَةَ قُرَيْظَةَ وَالنَّضِيرِ لَا تَصْلُحُ إِلَّا لَكَ قَالَ ادْعُوهُ بِهَا فَجَاءَ بِهَا فَلَمَّا نَظَرَ إِلَيْهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ خُذْ جَارِيَةً مِنْ السَّبْيِ غَيْرَهَا قَالَ فَأَعْتَقَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَتَزَوَّجَهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ ثَابِتٌ يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ مَا أَصْدَقَهَا قَالَ نَفْسَهَا أَعْتَقَهَا وَتَزَوَّجَهَا حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بِالطَّرِيقِ جَهَّزَتْهَا لَهُ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ فَأَهْدَتْهَا لَهُ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ فَأَصْبَحَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَرُوسًا فَقَالَ مَنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ شَيْءٌ فَلْيَجِئْ بِهِ وَبَسَطَ نِطَعًا فَجَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ يَجِيءُ بِالتَّمْرِ وَجَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ يَجِيءُ بِالسَّمْنِ قَالَ وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَدْ ذَكَرَ السَّوِيقَ قَالَ فَحَاسُوا حَيْسًا فَكَانَتْ وَلِيمَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
"We conquered Khaibar, took the captives, and the booty was collected. Dihya came and said, 'O Allah's Prophet! Give me a slave girl from the captives.' The Prophet said, 'Go and take any slave girl.' He took Safiya bint Huyai. A man came to the Prophet and said, 'O Allah's Messenger! You gave Safiya bint Huyai to Dihya and she is the chief mistress of the tribes of Quraiza and An-Nadir and she befits none but you.' So the Prophet said, 'Bring him along with her.' So Dihya came with her and when the Prophet saw her, he said to Dihya, 'Take any slave girl other than her from the captives.' Anas added: The Prophet then manumitted her and married her." Thabit asked Anas, "O Abu Hamza! What did the Prophet pay her (as Mahr)?" He said, "Her self (i.e. freedom) was her Mahr (dower) for he manumitted her and then married her." Anas added, "While on the way, Um Sulaim dressed her for marriage (ceremony) and at night she sent her as a bride to the Prophet. So the Prophet was a bridegroom and he said, 'Whoever has anything (food) should bring it.' He spread out a leather sheet (for the food) and some brought dates and others cooking butter. (I think he (Anas) mentioned As-Sawiq). So they prepared a dish of Hais (a kind of meal). And that was Walima (the marriage banquet) of Allah's Messenger (pbuh)." (Bukhari, Hadith 358)
نَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْبَرَ وَصَفِيَّةُ عَرُوسٌ فِي مَجَاسِدِهَا، فَرَأَتْ فِي الْمَنَامِ كَأَنَّ الشَّمْسَ نَزَلَتْ حَتَّى وَقَعَتْ عَلَى صَدْرِهَا، فَقَصَّتْ ذَلِكَ عَلَى زَوْجِهَا، فَقَالَ: وَاللَّهِ مَا تَمَنَّيْنَ إِلا هَذَا الْمَلِكَ الَّذِي نَزَلَ بنا، فَفَتَحَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَضَرَبَ عُنُقَ زَوْجِهَا صَبْرًا، وَتَعَرِّضَ مِنْ هُنَاكَ مِنْ فِتْيَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيَتَزَوَّجَهَا When Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) reached Khyber while Safiya was a bride at her place. She saw in her dream that a sun came into her lap. She mentioned it before her husband. He said; ‘By Allah you do not wish for anyone except the King who has come upon us.’ Allah’s Messenger conquered Khyber and her husband was killed. From that time (of dream) she loved that the Prophet (pbuh) may marry her.

The Mesjud I attended was the largest Sunni Mesjud in OC CA at that time for Palestinians, Egyptians, Jordanians and Lebanese Muslims. The Pakistanis had a larger one as well that was a school. It was accepted as being the most correct Mesjud in that area so their was a very large school of women who were wives or planning to become wives soon. We were educated in our rights and all things pertaining to marital life and family.
I didn't find out till after marriage the reality of all the things I wasn't taught and how these laws are implemented in real life.

One thing I just can't understand is why so many people would say a man with a 6 year old wife is a good man. One has to read all the adjoining verses in conjunction. Verses 4:23 to 4:25 are about women that a man is forbidden to MARRY. Verse 4:24 is about married slave women who had been captured at the battlefield itself and whose previous marriages were made null and void because they were unable to go back or had converted to Islam in captivity and didn’t want to go back to their non-Muslim husbands. Muslim women suffered the same fate when they were captured by the enemies. That is why Quran hints at this and says that Muslim should not grieve over what they have lost. If there was a treaty, the prisoners of war were always exchanged. It is only when there was none, that prisoners of war were taken as slaves. Even so, one month had to pass before a slave woman could marry another man, allowing sufficient time for her family to seek her freedom, if they wanted to. These women were either freed, released on payment of ransom, or exchanged with other Muslim prisoners held by the enemy. Here, Quran is allowing a Muslim man to MARRY from among these women. Verse 4:25 clearly explains this and creates an additional condition that besides the consent of the woman, the consent of her master/guardian should also be obtained. The master/guardian was not always the person who slept with her. This is clearly exemplified in this Hadith: “There are three people for whom there is a double reward; a person belonging to the Ahl al-Kitab who believes in his own prophet and believes in Muhammad, and the slave owned by another when he performs his obligations towards Allah and his obligations towards his master, and the man who has a slave girl with him, that he teaches her good manners and instructs her well in polite accomplishment, and he educates her and gives her a good education, then he sets her free and marries her off.” This tradition is repeated in Bukhari at least six times.

The prophet Pbuh lived during the 6th and 7th centuries. 1400 years ago. Life was different, culture was different, and people were different. So people in Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa and Oceania married at a younger age than we do today.
Back then, the average life expectancy in the world would be between 18 and 40 years old. So if you expect a woman at that time to have her first child at 32, like in many modern societies, then everyone would be an orphan by the time they're between 0 and 8 years old. And not to forget that a lot of people would have never had a family of their own at all. In those days, men went to the workforce at a very young age, and women got married at a very young age.

the word عِدّتهُن ( waiting period ) does not only mean that waiting period to check if they’re not pregnant as you said, العِدّة، عِدّتهنّ refers to the period of waiting AFTER the husband is DECEASED the battlefield, not while being alive. As one woman can not marry two men, Islam forbids polyandry, one reason for this is that it is not physically possible to bear children of multiple husbands at the same time; one of the many reasons this has not been institutionalized throughout the ages.
And that’s why understanding the Arabic language, the language in which the coran was revealed, is very crucial in understanding the coran in itself, the translations that are made, are very misleading, as the Arabic language is arguably the hardest and richest language there is.

And immediately after the verse he mentioned, the next verse explains that that if you cannot find the means to marry a free believing woman ONLY "then [he may marry] from those whom your right hands possess of believing slave girls." (Chapter 4, 25).

"And whoever among you cannot [find] the means to marry free, believing women, then [he may marry] from those whom your right hands possess of believing slave girls. And Allah is most knowing about your faith. You [believers] are of one another. So marry them with the permission of their people and give them their due compensation according to what is acceptable. [They should be] chaste, neither [of] those who commit unlawful intercourse randomly nor those who take (secret] lovers. But once they are sheltered in marriage, if they should commit adultery, then for them is half the punishment for free [unmarried] women. This [allowance] is for him among you who fears sin, but to be patient is better for you. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."
Islam is so peaceful. Islamic sex slavery was so peaceful. The slaves were treated with great care, and muslims could marry them. But let's not allow muslims to free the sex slaves, god forbid we free the sex slaves.

It seems like many just lay claim that there is no truth, but the point of this video is to show the facts of Muhammad (pbuh) in context as a “exemplar” role model. It is clear from his statement that he does not agree with that he was a perfect role model to follow. If only more Muslims would review the facts in Hadith about the facts of Muhammad (pbuh).

the major problem is, is that Islam doesn't tolerate apostasy. It is punishable by death! Your view is really nice and I consider it well, though you really need to work on learning more about Muhammad and the ACTIONS he did. You need to look at the character of Allah portrayed in the Qur'an. He has too many instructions given to one man to plant his seeds with violence. It seemed aggression was his only avenue to try and conquer.
Sorry but alot of muslims don't agree with your point of view as they themselves know that in reality Islam is totalitarian in its ways. There's no half way mark of being gentle when someone leaves Islam. Moreso, alot of ex muslims out there remain anonymous for a very good reason and even more in numbers, thwre are muslims who are too scared to notice the negative aspects that Islam brings. They're the ones who develop alot of anxiety and depression caused by having alot of mental gymnastics to try and justify Islam. They have a high rate of identity crisis psychosis whereby their only cure is to try and defend Islam as much as they can to calm their fear on how much Islam deters them from their real life purpose and how much of it really doesn't make logical sense and how much it hinders you from free will and exploring other potentials of seeking truth. Islam is tribal, you must follow your leader, ( considered to be the optimum example to follow by), to have your best chance of winning you over with Allah to get your reward to 'paradise '. Sounds a bit... I don't know.... to say the least.... a bit like a sales scam.
