From Mr J Drinking honey is an euphemism for the 'other' honey as proven by this hadith. Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) was asked about a man who divorced his wife three times, and she married another who entered upon her, but divorced her before having intercourse with her, whether she was lawful for the former husband. She said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: She is not lawful for the first (husband) until she tastes the honey of the other husband and he tastes her honey. Abu Dawud 12:2302

davlmt The context is that one of the wives of Muhammad was willing to give up her time with the Prophet so that he may visit Aisha, whom he seemed to have preferred to some extent. This is the view of the wives. It is not a hadith that goes back to Muhammad but to Aisha. This is what Aisha thought and not what Muhammad intended. We cannot know what the Prophet really wanted from this hadith. There are many hadiths and as long as you accept that they might be right or might be wrong then you are fair. Otherwise stick to Qur'an.

He only married when his stepson was divorced. And his wife was without a husband. So what is wrong with that? Thats a childish statement. He was an adopted son. If he was a biological offspring it would of been a different story. The prophet in the first place motivated zaid(his stepson) to marry zaynab (the wife of his stepson). If he wished he could of married her instead. Since she was of high status , zaid refused since he was of low status, but the prophet adopted him and removed his status as a slave, and motivated to marry a women of the higher class. Hence removing high class/levels making his stepson a normal citizen not a slave how he was before. When he was divorced only then he married her.

some historians claim that the "banning"of enslaving muslims made the muslims go out of today arabia to inslave infidels, slaves were a profitable trade since the begining of time. the "banning" of slavery was by implenting a way to repent by freeing slaves, the irony about that is it gave an incentive to get more slaves (the more slaves I have the more sins I can do and repent on). also saudi arabia banned slavery only in 1962 if I remmeber correctly, and I am quite certain they still hold the paractice but only by the rich in closed doors.

My husband from a south Asian country was told that Islam was the first and only religion to ban slavery because that is what he was taught. When I told him that the Arabian empire (caliphate) was the first empire to exploit the African continent for slavery, he didn't believe me and then denied that they were Muslim. I see that Muslims want to believe the good in their religion so much, but when I see the similarities it has to Christendom, it makes me too sad to argue or post anything mean to a Muslim individual.

they are many tafsirs to this quranic verse. since quran doesn't explicitly mention the context. The commentators/scholars having to link in, using scriptures to see what the right scenario was the tafsir mentioned in the video is the wrong tafsir(analysis). But the quranic verse is about honey. What happened was that the Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wassalam) used to stay with Zainab bint Jahsh and drink honey at her house (A later narration mentions it could be Hafsah). Ayesha (radiallahu anha) and Hafsah (radiallahu anha) agreed that if the Prophet came to either of them, they would say to the Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wassalam): 'I detect the smell of Maghafir (a nasty-smelling gum) on you; have you eaten Maghafir?' He came to one of them and she said that to him. He said: 'No, rather I drank honey at the house of Zainab bint Jahsh, but I will never do it again.' Now this hadith is sahih, and reported by several companions of the prophet.
Im not telling you to disregard anything im presenting the most agreed analysis of the scholar, nor this is mordern or new. This is the most agreed on view. In islam you have hadiths some hadiths are sahih(authentic) some are daeef(weak), weak doesnt mean its wrong it rather means not many companions narrated this. Since hadiths are written by men not a divine revelation could result in fabrications, hence I am presenting you with the most agreed upon analysis of this quranic verse. Something that actually make sense. As god says why are you making something haram which I made halal. Now you tell me why would someone make sleeping with his wife as haram. When i read about this, i was quite surprised. So I decided to ask this question to two muslim scholars(from two different mosques), one said yes mariah was a concubine(slave), the other one said no she was his wife! So it seems like there is a disagreement among the scholars about this issue. I fully respect Muslims and their right to follow Muhammed. Everyone is free to follow whoever they want, and for the Muslims I respect their conviction and effort. In my western culture, Islam have no place. Not if Muslims plan to follow the example of Muhammed. Anyone With the intention of following Jesus will fit just perfect in my culture. It look to me as good in Islam is defined by feeding your self and your fellow Muslim and making war against everyone else. Evil in Islam is whatever is different. That is why the Muslim culture was never meant for the western modern world. Islam is not for the educated modern person living in understanding with differences with others. Islam belongs to the past and the rules you obey have more in common with the animal kingdom. Islam can't be discussed by intellectual people. If you start to dig in to the details, Muslims always end up in a childish manner or quoting the Quran. Let’s consider one example: Surah 33:6 declares that *“The Prophet is closer to the Believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers.”* Ubayy ibn Ka’b (one of the best reciters of the Quran) and other early Muslims held that a phrase (“and he is a father of them”) is missing from that verse. Even the great translator Yusuf Ali admits this in his commentary. I never saw the same argument put up on Jesus on TH-cam or anywhere else by analyzing the Bible for his immoral acts or bad actions. Granted there are tone of videos that paint Jesus as a villain but not one that draws verses after verses from the Bible which depict Jesus as a bad person. Mariyah al-Qibtiyyah was a slave among the gifts sent to the Prophet by al-Muqawqis the ruler of Egypt. She became the Prophet's Umm Walad by giving birth to his son Ibrahim. The hadith you have quoted is likely referring to her. Having sex with a slave that one owns is permissible in Islam as they are "those your right hand possesses" as mentioned in the verses 23:6 and 4:3. The relation is not much different from a normal wife, as the following conditions similar to marriage apply: Sex may only be had with a slave whom one owns, it is not permitted to have relations with a slave who is owned by someone else. Ownership must be complete, sex is not permissible with a slave who has multiple owners. Sex is not permitted with a slave who is married to someone else. A period of time known as Istibra must be observed before having sexual relations. That means passage of menstrual periods to ensure that the womb is empty, the purpose of which is to remove any doubts of being pregnant with the child of another person. A similar waiting period should be observed before selling the slave or giving her in marriage. Her living expenses are due on her owner If she gives birth to a child then that child is legitimate and the owner is responsible for it. If she becomes pregnant then she can not be sold and becomes free after the death of her owner. Having sex with a such a slave was also permissible for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the Quran explicitly states: يا أيها النبي إنا أحللنا لك ... وما ملكت يمينك مما أفاء الله عليك O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to ... those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you [of captives] - Quran 33:50 Several of the Sahaba also had relations with their slaves and had children from them. Among the children of the sahaba from slaves are Ali bin al-Husain ibn Ali, Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr, Salim bin Abdullah ibn Umar.

This is false. First of all the hadeeth you are refering to is not sahih it has been narreted by many scholars as for ibn kathir that this hadeeth is WEAK. The reason you find it to be "sahih" is because you don't look into the authers who has translated them, the translation and the decision making on whether the hadeeth is authentic was made by Zubair Ali Zai. He is from a sect in Pakistan he worked with Takfeeris Jamat Dawa (enemies of the Salafi Saudi scholars), the hizbee Ghurabaa Ahle Hadeeth (whom are knownfor their innovations) and also the Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth (promoters of democracy) and others. Many refuse to work with him and he's known to be unrealiable and many stopped cooperating with him. As he also removed the opinion of other hafiz in his books because they would not go in line with his interpretation. The following is the digital edition of an Urdu work entitled - Tanaqudat Zubair Ali Zai (Contradictions of Zubair Ali Zai). This work shows his contradictions related to Hadith and the Hadith narrator gradings he displayed in different works. It was written by Shaykh Zahoor Ahmed al-Hussaini of England. There upon, Allah sent down this verse: O Prophet, why do you make unlawful that which Allah has made lawful for you. And he himself says it's weak, and that the one whom is narrated from Aisha r.a. herself is strong and it is this one who is mentioned by Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Daud, Nasai and several other books of Hadith from Aishah herself and its purport is as follows: The Prophet (peace be upon him) usually paid a daily visit to all his wives after the Asr Prayer. Once it so happened that he began to stay in the house of Zainab bint-Jahsh longer than usual, for she had received some honey from somewhere as a gift and the Prophet was very fond of sweet things; therefore, he would have a drink of honey at her house. Aishah states that she felt envious of this and spoke to Hafsah, Saudah and Safiyyah about it and together they decided that whoever of them was visited by the Prophet, she should say to him: Your mouth smells of maghafir. Maghafir is a kind of flower, which gives out an offensive smell, and if the bee obtains honey from it, it is also tainted by the same odor. They all knew that the Prophet was a man of very fine taste and he abhorred that he should emit any kind of unpleasant smell. Therefore, this device was contrived to stop him from staying in the house of Zainab and it worked. When several of his wives told him that his mouth smelt of maghafir, he made a promise not to use the honey any longer. In one tradition his words are to the effect: Now, I will never have a drink from it: I have sworn an oath. In another tradition he only said: I will never have a drink from it, and there is no mention of the oath. And in the tradition which Ibn al Mundhir, Ibn Abi Hatim, Tabarani and Ibn Marduyah have related from Ibn Abbas the words are to the effect: By God, I will not drink it. Our eminent scholars regard this second version as correct and the first as unreliable. Imam Nasai says: About honey the Hadith reported from Aishah is authentic, and the story of forbidding Mariyah for himself by the Prophet (peace be upon him) has not been narrated in a reliable way. Qadi Iyad says: The truth is that this verse was sent down concerning honey and not Mariyah. Qadi Abu Bakr Ibn al- Arabi also regards the story about honey as correct and the same is the opinion of Imam Nawawi and Hafiz Badruddiu Aini. Ibn Humam writes in Fath al-Qadir: The story of the prohibition of honey has been narrated in Bukhari and Muslim from Aishah who was herself a party to it; therefore, it is much more reliable. Hafiz Ibn Kathir says: The truth is that this verse was sent down about forbidding honey upon himself by the Prophet (peace be upon him). Please explain the context of this hadith which tells us the reaction of Aisha to Allah revealing verse 33.51 just in time to once again grant Muhammad exceptional sexual liberty. Sahih Bukhari 6:60:311 : Narrated Aisha : "I used to look down upon those ladies who had given themselves to Allah's Apostle and I used to say, "Can a lady give herself (to a man)?" But when Allah revealed: _"You (O Muhammad) can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them (your wives), and you may receive any of them whom you will; and there is no blame on you if you invite one whose turn you have set aside (temporarily).' (Quran 33.51)_ *I said (to the Prophet), "I feel that your Lord hastens in fulfilling your wishes and desires."*"
From Mr J Drinking honey is an euphemism for the 'other' honey as proven by this hadith. Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) was asked about a man who divorced his wife three times, and she married another who entered upon her, but divorced her before having intercourse with her, whether she was lawful for the former husband. She said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: She is not lawful for the first (husband) until she tastes the honey of the other husband and he tastes her honey. Abu Dawud 12:2302

Hafsa and I decided that when the Prophet (ﷺ) entered upon either of us, she would say, "I smell in you the bad smell of Maghafir (a bad smelling raisin). Have you eaten Maghafir?" When he entered upon one of us, she said that to him. He replied (to her), "No, but I have drunk honey in the house of Zainab bint Jahsh, and I will never drink it again." Then the following verse was revealed: 'O Prophet ! Why do you ban (for you) that which Allah has made lawful for you?. ..(up to) If you two (wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) turn in repentance to Allah.' (66.1-4) The two were `Aisha and Hafsa And also the Statement of Allah: 'And (Remember) when the Prophet (ﷺ) disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his wives!' davlmt The context is based on a narration from Aisha and so we cannot be sure what the Prophet himself actually thought. We know that there was jealousy between the wives and so what they say needs to be contextualized. Aisha is saying that she knows that the Prophet would rather be with her than with another wife and so it seems that God accepts that you should be able to spend time with whomever you prefer (in some instances - temporarily). This narration may be right or may be wrong and as long as you accept that then you are fair. The Qur'an is saying it is permissible to spend more time with someone you prefer (even in relation to wives) over others (at least for a short time). If the Qur'an said "no... you must spend of your time equally with all your beloveds (even in relation to your wives) then this would surely be unfair and coercive.

What you fail to recognize is that the European slavers took an emphatic stand against slavery, explicitly declared in their laws that slavery is evil. They fought against slavery and many sacrificed their lives to end slavery. Neither the arabs nor Mohammad ever condemned slavery nor did anything to end it. The millions of slaves taken by arabs ended up being killed or castrated by arabs hence their complete extinction from Arabia. On every level the moral fabric of the white man was far superior to Mohammad the supposed prophet of Allah.

Slavery was a common practice in Arabia, and almost all over the world, before the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Victorious nations of the time considered the people captured by them, in battle, as a “commodity” - not as human beings - and used them mercilessly for their own advantage. The beloved Prophet of Islam (PBUH) urged and encouraged the people to free the slaves, by declaring the freeing of slaves an act of highest virtue and an act by which sins are forgiven. On the other hand he enjoined on all not to drive them like animals. He explained that their basic needs, like food and clothing should be taken care of in a deserving manner. He, in fact, constantly warned the Muslims that they will be called to account, in the hereafter, if they failed in their duty to be just and merciful to the slaves and servants. He emphasized this to such an extent that it is reported by Ali (R.A.) that the last words, spoken by the Holy Prophet (PBUH), (at the time of his death) were, “Observe Salaah (the prayers), Observe Salaah And fear Allah with regards to your slaves and servants.“

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) was asked about a man who divorced his wife three times, and she married another who entered upon her, but divorced her before having intercourse with her, whether she was lawful for the former husband. The context is that one of the wives of Muhammad was willing to give up her time with the Prophet so that he may visit Aisha, whom he seemed to have preferred to some extent. This is the view of the wives. It is not a hadith that goes back to Muhammad but to Aisha. This is what Aisha thought and not what Muhammad intended. We cannot know what the Prophet really wanted from this hadith. There are many hadiths and as long as you accept that they might be right or might be wrong then you are fair. Otherwise stick to Qur'an.

He only married when his stepson was divorced. And his wife was without a husband. So what is wrong with that? Thats a childish statement. He was an adopted son. If he was a biological offspring it would of been a different story. The prophet in the first place motivated zaid(his stepson) to marry zaynab (the wife of his stepson). If he wished he could of married her instead. Since she was of high status , zaid refused since he was of low status, but the prophet adopted him and removed his status as a slave, and motivated to marry a women of the higher class. some historians claim that the "banning"of enslaving muslims made the muslims go out of today arabia to inslave infidels, slaves were a profitable trade since the begining of time. the "banning" of slavery was by implenting a way to repent by freeing slaves, the irony about that is it gave an incentive to get more slaves (the more slaves I have the more sins I can do and repent on).

This was not the Qur'an. The Qur'an merely states "not to forbid what
God has not been forbidden." It is a general statement that means we

What happened was that the Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wassalam) used to stay with Zainab bint Jahsh and drink honey at her house (A later narration mentions it could be Hafsah). Ayesha (radiallahu anha) and Hafsah (radiallahu anha) agreed that if the Prophet came to either of them, they would say to the Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wassalam): 'I detect the smell of Maghafir (a nasty-smelling gum) on you; have you eaten Maghafir?' He came to one of them and she said that to him. He said: 'No, rather I drank honey at the house of Zainab bint Jahsh, but I will never do it again.' Now this hadith is sahih, and reported by several companions of the prophet.
Im not telling you to disregard anything im presenting the most agreed analysis of the scholar, nor this is mordern or new. This is the most agreed on view. In islam you have hadiths some hadiths are sahih(authentic) some are daeef(weak), weak doesnt mean its wrong it rather means not many companions narrated this. I fully respect Muslims and their right to follow Muhammed. Everyone is free to follow whoever they want, and for the Muslims I respect their conviction and effort. In my western culture, Islam have no place. Not if Muslims plan to follow the example of Muhammed. Anyone With the intention of following Jesus will fit just perfect in my culture. A Message of love, forgiveness and peace. If we do as Jesus, we will live in harmony with each other. This is not the case if we live as Muhammed did. So, let me get this straight, Allah is telling Christians to judge by the Gospel, which they ALREADY possessed, at that time. Yet, muslims still insist on arguing the corruption of the Bible.

*(ii)* Entire chapters of the Quran were forgotten due to laziness:

I have, however, forgotten it with the exception of this which I remember out of it: “If there were two valleys full of riches, for the son of Adam, he would long for a third valley, and nothing would fill the stomach of the son of Adam but dust.” And we used to recite a surah which resembled one of the surahs of Musabbihat, and I have forgotten it . . ."* (Sahih Muslim 2286)
So, two chapters of the Quran were forgotten.
*(iii)* Aisha also tells us that individual verses of the Qur’an disappeared, her sheep ate them:
*"It was narrated that Aishah said: “The Verse of stoning and of breastfeeding an adult ten times was revealed, and the paper was with me under my pillow. When the Messenger of Allah died, we were preoccupied with his death, and a tame sheep came in and ate it.”*(Sunan ibn Majah 1944)
*(iv)* Since entire chapters, large portions of chapters, and individual verses of the Qur’an were lost, it should come as no surprise that short phrases were forgotten as well. Let’s consider one example:
Surah 33:6 declares that *“The Prophet is closer to the Believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers.”*
Ubayy ibn Ka’b (one of the best reciters of the Quran) and other early Muslims held that a phrase (“and he is a father of them”) is missing from that verse. Even the great translator Yusuf Ali admits this in his commentary. Ali writes:
*“In some Qira’ahs, like that of Ubayy ibn Ka’ab, occur also the words ‘and he is a father of them,’ which imply his spiritual relationship and connection with the words ‘and his wives are their mothers’”* (Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The Meaning of the Holy Qur’an, Note 3674).
It seems that Muslims have been left with an incomplete verse.
Obviously, the Qur’an has changed significantly over the years. The evidence shows that entire chapters were lost, that large sections of chapters came up missing, that individual verses were forgotten, and that phrases have been left out. Muhammad’s best teachers and reciters couldn’t even agree on which chapters were supposed to be in the Qur’an.
It seems Allah's vow to even protect the Quran from corruption, is a complete failure.

If the name "Jesus" was fictitious, then why didn't the Jewish historian Josephus mention of the name "Issa Ibn Maryam"? Why didn't anyone in the 1st and 2nd Century mention the name "Issa Ibn Maryam"? Muslims are just making up things that have no basis in history.
And historians have irrefutable evidence that the crucifixion took place. But the Quran says Allah tricked people into believing that Isa died on the cross, rather he replaced someone else. Mariyah al-Qibtiyyah was a slave among the gifts sent to the Prophet by al-Muqawqis the ruler of Egypt. She became the Prophet's Umm Walad by giving birth to his son Ibrahim. The hadith you have quoted is likely referring to her.
Having sex with a slave that one owns is permissible in Islam as they are "those your right hand possesses" as mentioned in the verses 23:6 and 4:3. The relation is not much different from a normal wife, as the following conditions similar to marriage apply:
Sex may only be had with a slave whom one owns, it is not permitted to have relations with a slave who is owned by someone else.
Ownership must be complete, sex is not permissible with a slave who has multiple owners.
Sex is not permitted with a slave who is married to someone else.
A period of time known as Istibra must be observed before having sexual relations. That means passage of menstrual periods to ensure that the womb is empty, the purpose of which is to remove any doubts of being pregnant with the child of another person. A similar waiting period should be observed before selling the slave or giving her in marriage.
Her living expenses are due on her owner
If she gives birth to a child then that child is legitimate and the owner is responsible for it.
If she becomes pregnant then she can not be sold and becomes free after the death of her owner.
Having sex with a such a slave was also permissible for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the Quran explicitly states:
يا أيها النبي إنا أحللنا لك ... وما ملكت يمينك مما أفاء الله عليك
O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to ... those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you [of captives]

Several of the Sahaba also had relations with their slaves and had children from them. Among the children of the sahaba from slaves are Ali bin al-Husain ibn Ali, Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr, Salim bin Abdullah ibn Umar.

First of all the hadeeth you are refering to is not sahih it has been narreted by many scholars as for ibn kathir that this hadeeth is WEAK.
The reason you find it to be "sahih" is because you don't look into the authers who has translated them, the translation and the decision making on whether the hadeeth is authentic was made by Zubair Ali Zai. He is from a sect in Pakistan he worked with Takfeeris Jamat Dawa
(enemies of the Salafi Saudi scholars), the hizbee Ghurabaa Ahle Hadeeth (whom are knownfor their innovations) and also the Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth (promoters of democracy) and others.
Many refuse to work with him and he's known to be unrealiable and many stopped cooperating with him. As he also removed the opinion of other hafiz in his books because they would not go in line with his interpretation.
The following is the digital edition of an Urdu work entitled - Tanaqudat Zubair Ali Zai (Contradictions of Zubair Ali Zai). This work shows his contradictions related to Hadith and the Hadith narrator gradings he displayed in different works. It was written by Shaykh Zahoor Ahmed al-Hussaini of England.

That being said the hadith is not even mentioned in sunan nasai!!! or in any other of the six authentic collections of the Hadith has this story been narrated.
The only thin nasai mentions is this :
from Anas: The Prophet (peace be upon him) had a slave-girl with whom he had conjugal relations. Then, Hafsah and Aishah began to point out this to him repeatedly until he forbade her for himself. There upon, Allah sent down this verse: O Prophet, why do you make unlawful that which Allah has made lawful for you.
And he himself says it's weak, and that the one whom is narrated from Aisha r.a. herself is strong and it is this one who is mentioned by
Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Daud, Nasai and several other books of Hadith from Aishah herself and its purport is as follows:
The Prophet (peace be upon him) usually paid a daily visit to all his wives after the Asr Prayer. Once it so happened that he began to stay in the house of Zainab bint-Jahsh longer than usual, for she had received some honey from somewhere as a gift and the Prophet was very fond of sweet things; therefore, he would have a drink of honey at her house. Aishah states that she felt envious of this and spoke to Hafsah, Saudah and Safiyyah about it and together they decided that whoever of them was visited by the Prophet, she should say to him: Your mouth smells of maghafir. Maghafir is a kind of flower, which gives out an offensive smell, and if the bee obtains honey from it, it is also tainted by the same odor. They all knew that the Prophet was a man of very fine taste and he abhorred that he should emit any kind of unpleasant smell. Therefore, this device was contrived to stop him from staying in the house of Zainab and it worked. When several of his wives told him that his mouth smelt of maghafir, he made a promise not to use the honey any longer. In one tradition his words are to the effect: Now, I will never have a drink from it: I have sworn an oath. In another tradition he only said: I will never have a drink from it, and there is no mention of the oath. And in the tradition which Ibn al Mundhir, Ibn Abi Hatim, Tabarani and Ibn Marduyah have related from Ibn Abbas the words are to the effect: By God, I will not drink it.
Our eminent scholars regard this second version as correct and the first as unreliable. Imam Nasai says: About honey the Hadith reported from Aishah is authentic, and the story of forbidding Mariyah for himself by the Prophet (peace be upon him) has not been narrated in a reliable way. Qadi Iyad says: The truth is that this verse was sent down concerning honey and not Mariyah. Qadi Abu Bakr Ibn al- Arabi also regards the story about honey as correct and the same is the opinion of Imam Nawawi and Hafiz Badruddiu Aini. Ibn Humam writes in Fath al-Qadir: The story of the prohibition of honey has been narrated in Bukhari and Muslim from Aishah who was herself a party to it; therefore, it is much more reliable.
Hafiz Ibn Kathir says: The truth is that this verse was sent down about forbidding honey upon himself by the Prophet (peace be upon him).
So before you come and slander our prophet saw , do your homework and don't just replicate what you have found by david wood who is a diagnosed sociopath and has been in and out of jail.

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) was asked about a man who divorced his wife three times, and she married another who entered upon her, but divorced her before having intercourse with her, whether she was lawful for the former husband. She said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: She is not lawful for the first (husband) until she tastes the honey of the other husband and he tastes her honey.

The other incident has been related in Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Daud, Nasai and several other books of Hadith from Aishah herself and its purport is as follows:
The Prophet (peace be upon him) usually paid a daily visit to all his wives after the Asr Prayer. Once it so happened that he began to stay in the house of Zainab bint-Jahsh longer than usual, for she had received some honey from somewhere as a gift and the Prophet was very fond of sweet things; therefore, he would have a drink of honey at her house. Aishah states that she felt envious of this and spoke to Hafsah, Saudah and Safiyyah about it and together they decided that whoever of them was visited by the Prophet, she should say to him: Your mouth smells of maghafir. Maghafir is a kind of flower, which gives out an offensive smell, and if the bee obtains honey from it, it is also tainted by the same odor. They all knew that the Prophet was a man of very fine taste and he abhorred that he should emit any kind of unpleasant smell. Therefore, this device was contrived to stop him from staying in the house of Zainab and it worked. When several of his wives told him that his mouth smelt of maghafir, he made a promise not to use the honey any longer. In one tradition his words are to the effect: Now, I will never have a drink from it: I have sworn an oath. In another tradition he only said: I will never have a drink from it, and there is no mention of the oath. And in the tradition which Ibn al Mundhir, Ibn Abi Hatim, Tabarani and Ibn Marduyah have related from Ibn Abbas the words are to the effect: By God, I will not drink it.

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to stay (for a period) in the house of Zainab bint Jahsh (one of the wives of the Prophet ) and he used to drink honey in her house. Hafsa and I decided that when the Prophet (ﷺ) entered upon either of us, she would say, "I smell in you the bad smell of Maghafir (a bad smelling raisin). Have you eaten Maghafir?" When he entered upon one of us, she said that to him. He replied (to her), "No, but I have drunk honey in the house of Zainab bint Jahsh, and I will never drink it again." Then the following verse was revealed: 'O Prophet ! Why do you ban (for you) that which Allah has made lawful for you?. ..(up to) If you two (wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) turn in repentance to Allah.' (66.1-4) The two were `Aisha and Hafsa And also the Statement of Allah: 'And (Remember) when the Prophet (ﷺ) disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his wives!' (66.3) i.e., his saying, "But I have drunk honey." Hisham said: It also meant his saying, "I will not drink anymore, and I have taken an oath, so do not inform anybody of that."
+Kakande Musa A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) narrated that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) used to spend time with Zainab daughter of Jahsh and drank honey at her house. She ('A'isha further) said:
I and Hafsa agreed that one whom Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) would visit first should say: I notice that you have an odour of the Maghafir (gum of mimosa). He (the Holy Prophet) visited one of them and she said to him like this, whereupon he said: I have taken honey in the house of Zainab bint Jabsh and I will never do it again. Hafsa bint Umar wife of prophet mohamed entered her room to find the prophet having sex with (Maria al-Qibtiyya)so she shouted (في بيتي و في يومي و على فراشي)

O Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from]
what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking the approval of your wives? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Allah has already ordained for you [Muslims]
the dissolution of your oaths. And Allah is

so by the virtue of this verse he is now
released from his oath to have sex with the

There are many stories about the Prophet and calling them authentic does mean that they are all true but that they have a sound chain of narration so even contradictory stories with sound chains of narrations can be found in the same hadith book. Muslim scholars have rejected the sexual intercourse stories as gossip because there are more numerous and reliable interpretations of Qur'an 66:1 from the most authoratative scholars. Why keep a promise that is against reason and was forced! Just as forcing someone to change a religion is incorrect (no matter if that person swears an oath) so too will forcing a person to promise to stop doing something permissible is also incorrect. Clear.

The context is based on a narration from Aisha and so we cannot be sure what the Prophet himself actually thought. We know that there was jealousy between the wives and so what they say needs to be contextualized. Aisha is saying that she knows that the Prophet would rather be with her than with another wife and so it seems that God accepts that you should be able to spend time with whomever you prefer (in some instances - temporarily). This narration may be right or may be wrong and as long as you accept that then you are fair. The Qur'an is saying it is permissible to spend more time with someone you prefer (even in relation to wives) over others (at least for a short time). If the Qur'an said "no... you must spend of your time equally with all your beloveds (even in relation to your wives) then this would surely be unfair and coercive.

1)If your God is concerned with his prophet having sex with a slave woman whom the prophet had not married and immediately, that God justified this highly immoral practice with a revelation, then certainly any level headed man must know the prophet made everything up in his new religion.
2)You have consistently tried to compare Mohammad to European slavers and drew comparison, with this you concluded Mohammad was the lesser evil.
What you fail to recognize is that the European slavers took an emphatic stand against slavery, explicitly declared in their laws that slavery is evil. They fought against slavery and many sacrificed their lives to end slavery. Neither the arabs nor Mohammad ever condemned slavery nor did anything to end it. The millions of slaves taken by arabs ended up being killed or castrated by arabs hence their complete extinction from Arabia. On every level the moral fabric of the white man was far superior to Mohammad the supposed prophet of Allah.

It is admitting that the Q'uran and Hadith have become obsolete: how can the word of Allah and his messenger Mohammed have become so obsolete? Later,when history was being complied the sayings of Prophet were compiled by different people ( not protected by Almighty ) so Mudaitheen kept clauses especially critically analyzing ahadith in the light of Quran so definitely this ahadith should be looked in the whole picture of Quran instead of Judging Quran under the light of Ahadith.
Tafaseer are human explanations that cannot be labeled as a " Source of Islam ".

Slavery was a common practice in Arabia, and almost all over the world, before the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Victorious nations of the time considered the people captured by them, in battle, as a “commodity” - not as human beings - and used them mercilessly for their own advantage.
The beloved Prophet of Islam (PBUH) urged and encouraged the people to free the slaves, by declaring the freeing of slaves an act of highest virtue and an act by which sins are forgiven. On the other hand he enjoined on all not to drive them like animals. He explained that their basic needs, like food and clothing should be taken care of in a deserving manner.
He, in fact, constantly warned the Muslims that they will be called to account, in the hereafter, if they failed in their duty to be just and merciful to the slaves and servants. He emphasized this to such an extent that it is reported by Ali (R.A.) that the last words, spoken by the Holy Prophet (PBUH), (at the time of his death) were,
“Observe Salaah (the prayers), Observe Salaah And fear Allah with regards to your slaves and servants.“
