I know many muslims in real life, most of them are nice people but for most, religion comes first even if it means violence. If a mullah or religious preacher asks to"unalive" someone for any disrespect or belonging to other religion, you'd be surprised to see how quickly they can turn against you even if you were friends with them. This is exactly I can't get behind a lot of crisis in islamic nations. I feel bad for many of those civilians but under the right circumstances, they wouldn't hesitate to harm or harass me for not belonging to their religion, the funny thing is that in some places it's even religiously permitted to do so. I just have to say that most of British Sikhs were pure delight to interact with, and they run charities that serve EVERYONE. Hell, during lockdown a small local Sikh charity ran (and still does) a daily hot meal + snacks take away in my city for the homeless and the poor. The guy who runs this place is my personal hero.

As a Hindu I can completely agree to your point. For the Hindus, Hinduism is not a religion but a philosophy and faith in nature. Every faith is welcomed in our land. In the process we made a mistake hundreds of years ago of thinking predacious religions like Islam have a "good" faith, and can come and co-exist with us. We are still paying the price after turn of the millennium. You can understand this fact by observing how Jains, Buddhists, Jews, Sikhs and Christians mostly, still co-exist with us so peacefully. I’m not Indian but I have a deep respect for Jainism because of its commitment to non-violence. I also try my hardest to live my life in a non-violent, peaceful way. I’m against the Abrahamic religions (especially Islam) because they are extremely violent to those most vulnerable (women, LGBT+ people, children, non-human animals, basically anyone who isn’t a straight man).
If you promote homophobia, you will face disturbing response. And if you go far enough with hatred towards to LGBT, you can face the hand of law to. But in mosque, you can promote homophobia freely, you can even say, that homosexuality is forbidden. How can it be? Double standards or law is not for all? @@damonanjul6676 as with any religion, Islam is interpreted by its followers. The Qur'an and Sunnah landed in the context of 7th century Arabia. As soon as you step out of that immediate context, you have to start interpreting and translating. It's a basic concept that applies to Islam and always has, and I'm sure applies to Hinduism too. Especially when in Hinduism some of the Sacred texts are stories and require a lot of interpretation to extract their relevance and other texts are enigmatic. ‘Ali once explained that the Qur'an is but ink and paper, and it does not speak for itself. Instead, it is human beings who give effect to it according to their limited personal judgments and opinions.

Christianity was a small cult before the late Roman Empire declared it the official religion, and later various European nations adopted it for political reasons. According to me, these are the reasons on why there should not be any god: 1) Life does not need to have a meaning. 2) All religions are shaped by the culture of that specific geografical area hence any god is made in the image of people: this means that god is just in your brain. 3) You just follow your family's religion as you were indoctrinated from the very beginning of your life. Your family was indoctrinated by their parents and so on until the days when religious education was mandatory. This much depends on the area where you were born. Basically what you know does not exist: it has just been told you to believe in it since when you were young and not able to do a critic about life. This means that god is not an entity, but just an indoctrinated concept. 4) If religion books were cancelled, they would have re-written differently (e.g. would a re-written version of the Bible - the word of god - describe that sun orbits the earth nowadays?). Instead, if scientific researches were cancelled they would have re-written on the same path cause they are based on objective evidence. 5) 4,200 religions in the world: how do you prove yours is the true one and on which evidence you discredit the others? Any attempt to discredit another religion will conversely discredit yours. 6) The most popular religions just coincide with the most dominant/rich/colonialist countries as they were spread by force/political influence. This means that interest in main religions has not grown in a genuine way. 7) When people could not cure themselves they relied on witchcraft. Once science found the cure, witchcraft got extinguished. By analogy, religion works in the same way as witchcraft as it is just an irrational method of compensation for material life problems and it disappears when issues are fixed materially. Not by chance most gods of the past got extingued as they could no longer fit with the progressing awareness of the world (Odin, Zeus, etc.). E.g. The extinction of the god of fire (Hephaestus): you will no longer need to pray a god to have fire once you materially discover how to get fire. Praying or not praying you will always have the chemical reaction which origins fire. This means that religion - like witchcraft - if there is no awareness - just gives you the illusion to obtain something that you will never get. I believe that this is the point which explains why religions originated all over the world. 7bis) Scientific research is continuously proving that most (nearly all) parts of Quran, Torah and Bible cannot fit reasonably. Is the sun really going into a muddy spring when it sets as described in the Quran? In fact those books seem to be the result of very ancient people's view of the world/universe based on their limited scientific awareness at that time which can no longer fit in 2020. At the same time, there has not been any progression on researching/proving the content of those sacre scriptures. E. g. Saint Peter and the disciplines: nothing has been discovered about them (ancestry, surnames, relatives etc.) and the view about them has remained as depicted by tradition: basically, they rather seem to be characters from a fairy tale. 8) If you say "what was there before universe?", then I say, "what was there before god" ?; If you say "...and what about the fine tuning of the universe?" I say "universe is not perfect at all, perhaps just fews planets are inhabitable and also the earth is not perfect considering those several places hostile to human life and the recurring natural disasters". 9) It has already been demonstrated by science that organic matter can be generated by inorganic matter (check the Miller-Urey experiment). 10) Big bang: explosion which determined life (like we know nowadays) and continuous spreading of energy. Human production/reproduction is just an expression of that energy keeps spreading. Before the big bang there was neither space nor time, hence a god couldn't exist. Building up the idea of an imaginary creator would consist in a pretentious way to skip steps in understanding the formation of the universe and would always end up as a total fabrication. Extra point: We are all here discussing because of CONSCIOUSNESS. Humans are the only ones who are provided with CONSCIOUSNESS in such a way that they can think, plan, construct even under long-term outlooks. CONSCIOUSNESS is basically a system of natural defence to better allow our survival and it is the result of an evolved brain which took millions of years to develop to this level: it's not a gift of God... Your problem is that spreading "mischief or corruption in the land" and "waging war" are not well defined terms. According to the highly regarded muslim scholar ibn Kathir for example it can simply mean "oppose, contradict or disbelieve in Islam".

I know many muslims in real life, most of them are nice people but for most, religion comes first even if it means violence. If a mullah or religious preacher asks to"unalive" someone for any disrespect or belonging to other religion, you'd be surprised to see how quickly they can turn against you even if you were friends with them.

As a Hindu I can completely agree to your point. For the Hindus, Hinduism is not a religion but a philosophy and faith in nature. Every faith is welcomed in our land. In the process we made a mistake hundreds of years ago of thinking predacious religions like Islam have a "good" faith, and can come and co-exist with us. We are still paying the price after turn of the millennium. You can understand this fact by observing how Jains, Buddhists, Jews, Sikhs and Christians mostly, still co-exist with us so peacefully. Not Muslims apparently though and to some extent some Christian missionaries who indulge into dirty conversions.

I’m not Indian but I have a deep respect for Jainism because of its commitment to non-violence. I also try my hardest to live my life in a non-violent, peaceful way.
I’m against the Abrahamic religions (especially Islam) because they are extremely violent to those most vulnerable (women, LGBT+ people, children, non-human animals, basically anyone who isn’t a straight man).

@@damonanjul6676 as with any religion, Islam is interpreted by its followers. The Qur'an and Sunnah landed in the context of 7th century Arabia. As soon as you step out of that immediate context, you have to start interpreting and translating. It's a basic concept that applies to Islam and always has, and I'm sure applies to Hinduism too. Especially when in Hinduism some of the Sacred texts are stories and require a lot of interpretation to extract their relevance and other texts are enigmatic.

Reasons why Muslims are the true followers of the teachings of Jesus(peace be upon him)-
1. Jesus taught that there is only One God and Only God should be worshiped as taught in Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29.
Muslims also believe this as taught in the Quran verse 4:171,Quran verse 112:1-4.
2. Jesus didn’t eat pork as taught in Leviticus 11:7, and neither do Muslims as taught in the Qur’an verse 6:145.
3.Jesus never drank alcohol as taught in Ephesians 5:18,Proverbs 20:1,1 Peter 4:3 and Muslims do not drink alcohol as taught in the Qur'an verse 5:90.
4. Jesus greeted with 'Peace be with you' in John 20:21. Muslims also greet each other this way, the words “as salaamualaikum” which means 'Peace be upon you'.
5. Jesus used to say “God Willing”.In arabic it is 'inshallah'(Luke 22:42), Muslims say this too before doing anything as taught in the Qur’an verses 18:23-24.
6. Jesus and other prophets of the Bible prayed falling with their face on the ground (see Matthew 26:39). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verse 3:43.
7. Jesus had beard and wore modest clothes. It is Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same.
8. Jesus followed the law and believed in all the prophets, (see Matthew 5:17). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an
verses 3:84, and 2:285.
9. Jesus’ mother Maryam dressed modestly by fully covering her body and wearing a headscarf (hijab) as found in 1 Timothy 2:9, Genesis 24:64-65, and Corinthians 11:6. Muslim women modestly dress the same as taught in the Qur’an verse 33:59.
10. Jesus and other prophets of the Bible fasting up to 40 days (see Exodus 34:28, Daniel 10:2-6, Kings 19:8, and Matthew 4:1- Muslims do so also during the month of Ramadan. Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30 days (see Qur’an 2:183), and others take it a step further by fasting an additional 6 days(in month of Shawal) to increase their rewards.
Some muslims also fast Monday and Thursday as prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) did.
11. Jesus taught to say “Peace to this house” when entering it (see Luke 10:5), and to also greet the people in the house with “peace be unto you”. Muslims do exactly what Jesus did and taught. When we enter our homes and the homes of others we say “Bismillah” and also greet with "as salaamu alaikum” (peace be upon you) as taught in the Qur’an verse 24:61.
12. Jesus was circumcised. Circumcision is 1 of the 5 fitrah in Islam, so Muslim men are required to be circumcised. According to the Bible in Luke 2:21, Jesus was eight days old when he was circumcised. In the Torah, Allah/God stated to the Prophet Abraham that it is an “Everlasting covenant” (see Genesis 17:13). In the Qur’an verse 16:123 Muslims are required to follow the religion of Abraham. Prophet Muhammad[pbuh] said, “The Prophet Abraham circumcised himself when he was eighty years old.”
13. Jesus spoke aramaic and called God 'Elah', which is pronounced the same as 'Allah'. Aramaic is an ancient, Biblical language. It is one of the Semitic languages that also include Hebrew, Arabic, the ancient Assyrian and Babylonian language of Akkadian.
14.According to Matthew 26:39,Matthew 26:42 Jesus submitted to the will of God and the word 'Islam' means Submission to the will of God.
The Aramaic “Elah” means “GOD”. “Allah” in Arabic also means ”GOD”, the Supreme GOD Almighty,The God of prophet Abraham(peace be upon him)

The main problem is apparently nobody reads muslim books, terrorists are not fooled by a distortion of the religion, Muslims most respected books of hadiths do contain these horrors we see nowadays. The other problem is that there no translation of these books, you have to read Arab.

Islam is a religion of peace BUT it's not a religion of lack of self-defense and to live humiliated. In chapter 2 of the Qoran it's clearly stated "Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors". The Qoran is the first source of Islam and the verse is clear here.

According to me, these are the reasons on why there should not be any god:
1) Life does not need to have a meaning.
2) All religions are shaped by the culture of that specific geografical area hence any god is made in the image of people: this means that god is just in your brain.
3) You just follow your family's religion as you were indoctrinated from the very beginning of your life. Your family was indoctrinated by their parents and so on until the days when religious education was mandatory.
This much depends on the area where you were born. Basically what you know does not exist: it has just been told you to believe in it since when you were young and not able to do a critic about life.
This means that god is not an entity, but just an indoctrinated concept.
4) If religion books were cancelled, they would have re-written differently (e.g. would a re-written version of the Bible - the word of god - describe that sun orbits the earth nowadays?).
Instead, if scientific researches were cancelled they would have re-written on the same path cause they are based on objective evidence.
5) 4,200 religions in the world: how do you prove yours is the true one and on which evidence you discredit the others?
Any attempt to discredit another religion will conversely discredit yours.
6) The most popular religions just coincide with the most dominant/rich/colonialist countries as they were spread by force/political influence.
This means that interest in main religions has not grown in a genuine way.
7) When people could not cure themselves they relied on witchcraft. Once science found the cure, witchcraft got extinguished.
By analogy, religion works in the same way as witchcraft as it is just an irrational method of compensation for material life problems and it disappears when issues are fixed materially.
Not by chance most gods of the past got extingued as they could no longer fit with the progressing awareness of the world (Odin, Zeus, etc.). E.g. The extinction of the god of fire (Hephaestus): you will no longer need to pray a god to have fire once you materially discover how to get fire. Praying or not praying you will always have the chemical reaction which origins fire.
This means that religion - like witchcraft - if there is no awareness - just gives you the illusion to obtain something that you will never get.
I believe that this is the point which explains why religions originated all over the world.

In fact those books seem to be the result of very ancient people's view of the world/universe based on their limited scientific awareness at that time which can no longer fit in 2020.
At the same time, there has not been any progression on researching/proving the content of those sacre scriptures. E. g. Saint Peter and the disciplines: nothing has been discovered about them (ancestry, surnames, relatives etc.) and the view about them has remained as depicted by tradition: basically, they rather seem to be characters from a fairy tale.
8) If you say "what was there before universe?", then I say, "what was there before god" ?;
If you say "...and what about the fine tuning of the universe?" I say "universe is not perfect at all, perhaps just fews planets are inhabitable and also the earth is not perfect considering those several places hostile to human life and the recurring natural disasters".
9) It has already been demonstrated by science that organic matter can be generated by inorganic matter (check the Miller-Urey experiment).
10) Big bang: explosion which determined life (like we know nowadays) and continuous spreading of energy. Human production/reproduction is just an expression of that energy keeps spreading. Before the big bang there was neither space nor time, hence a god couldn't exist. Building up the idea of an imaginary creator would consist in a pretentious way to skip steps in understanding the formation of the universe and would always end up as a total fabrication.
Extra point: We are all here discussing because of CONSCIOUSNESS.
Humans are the only ones who are provided with CONSCIOUSNESS in such a way that they can think, plan, construct even under long-term outlooks.
CONSCIOUSNESS is basically a system of natural defence to better allow our survival and it is the result of an evolved brain which took millions of years to develop to this level: it's not a gift of God...
Please feed consciousness with reasoning instead of superstitions and useless beliefs (I know they might be useful when you struggle in life but see point 7) because thank to this refined defensive system called consciousness we have finally managed to understand how we came here.
