    I breathe in
    I recognize it as an in-breath,
    I breathe out,
    I recognize it as an out breath,
    I breathe in love,
    I exhale fear
    4-5 second inhale
    6-7 second exhale
    A Longer exhale tells your body that you are safe.
    Inhale through the nose, exhale out through the nose or mouth, but do not inhale through the mouth - it can send a signal to the sympathetic nervous system that it is 'gasping' and in a state of need, rather than a state of peace (parasympathetic).
    Controlling breath controls the mind.
    Focus on the breath. This focuses the mind. The more focus on the mind, the more discipline you will have when navigating through difficult experiences.
    Namaste 🙏

    every time I start to have a bad trip it's just a really intense ego death that needed to happen and there was no avoiding it. It can happen at the worst times too, in the middle of a conversation, and what not. But it's always a minute of dying, and then coming back to reality from my very real death, and dealing with the shit it throws at me. I've actually never had a bad trip, whenever it starts to come on more intense, I'll close my eyes for a little bit and then open them again. And yet nobody around me seems to have any idea of the crazy shit that just happened in the span of a few seconds

    What I've found in most cases where you feel you're going to die it's because in a way you are, your ego is dying in that moment. Psychedelics strip away your ego. The panic is resistance, it's so important to release resistance, trust, and that's when you get the biggest lessons. Not easy but very rewarding ❤

    • @ladymercy5275
      @ladymercy5275 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes and no.
      It's not "your ego" that's dying. I despise that terminology. It's _you_ that's dying. You know that your body is comprised of many different organs each with many different cells all the way down and so on. Terence McKenna says that the mind is a hidden organ. It's the same thing. Your you-ness is dying, with every breath. Sometimes it's scary. It's not necessarily because you, or "they" are wicked aspects of self that need to be destroyed for the goodness of your spirituality. They're not egotistical, any more than any other part of your mind that happens to be the one saying "I am all of the ones who say we are me" at that particular moment. They're just ready to let go, and let some new aspect of yourself take charge now. It's perfectly natural, and I'm beginning to believe it's thoroughly inevitable as well.
      Don't punish yourself for being "egotistical." It's not like that. Go ahead and be yourself all you want, so that having been, your self can be satisfied, and become something new when you're finished. That's how the mind grows.

Every so often I'd pass out and each time it happened I thought that I'd died but when it had happened it felt like I was flying through space and it was awesome but then I thought I can't stay here too long or I'll be dead forever so I'd wake up. This happened on and off every 20 minutes or so for like 3 hours through the night, didn't get any sleep at all. I'd had between 800-1000ug of lsd and I had only started getting the anxiety of death after smoking a couple of blunts. One of my most amazing yet scary experiences.

    I started having a lot of bad panic attacks from the combitnation of smoking weed daily for a few years and from being in a stressful period. Although I agree with Terence, in that you should tell yourself to "shut up, we are getting through this", I don't think it would have been enough during one of the more severe panic attacks I used to have.
    Some other things to try are: 1) Try to stop fighting it, embrace the feeling. 2) Trick your body into being happy (google embodied psychology for more info), meaning: you should dance, jump cheerfully, laugh/smile, etc 3) Meditate/breath/mindfulness. 4) Get some dopamine and sugar from comfort foods. 5) Write down what you are worried about.
    What's probably more important though. Is that you should lay of the psychedelics for some time. I carried on far too long, and the panic attacks just kept on getting worse. I am not anti-psychedelics at all, but sometimes you just need a break. Which might be for months/years, which sucks, but its better than the alternative. Also, make sure your body is healthy: sleep well, eat healthy, exercise. And last but definitely not least, try to remove stressors from your life. Which somethimes might mean cutting ties with toxic people you hang out with.
    I got through it. I went from having weekly panic attacks, even when just doing grocery shopping while being sober, to only having a very mild one like ones a year (usually when taking psychedelics in a stupid setting). You can get through it as well, just take care of yourself.

    Take the anxiety and worry as a sign that you're not acceptance of something. Breathe through it, and enjoy this moment. That's why I like anxiety.. is a trigger for potential growth when you work with it instead of resisting... surrender to the experience.

    I ingested some penis envy mushrooms and ten minutes later I was in gnome village with some pretty shady characters, all of them singing, dancing and playing these strange instruments... Every time I spoke they laughed in my face and mocked me by impersonating my voice. I suddenly had a moment of awareness and shouted at them all that I wasn't here for fun and that I had set intentions for my trip...they instantly stopped singing and dancing and just stared at me like 'she knows'.... And then this side pathway opened up and I was transported somewhere new. I turned into the roots of the trees and it felt like I was underground and I had no personality or consciousness of my own but was a part of a group now. Time stopped in this place and it felt like eternity passed by before I became conscious of where I was and decided to leave. I can't remember much else but yeah shrooms are deep and gnomes are mean

      @material pattern for shrooms or DMT? If you're an amateur, always have a tripsitter, someone you can trust. And for weed, you just gotta know how to smoke. Sometimes it's okey to embrace those attacks, that's how I control them.

    • @thetacoguyy
      @thetacoguyy 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @material pattern It's all about consuming responsibly, kinda like when people moderate how much alcohol they drink 👍😎
      But there's still this stigma with hard drugs like shrooms, DMT, etc.. but I can safely say that since Cannabis has been legal for recreational use in California that stigma has been fading away, slowly. Hopefully in the future the same would occur to other psychedelic drugs.
      And for weed, try a handful of edibles. I heard it produces a different high than how you smoke it. Very similar to DMT, but you'd have to eat a bunch of edibles.

    Did you hear about this? I doubt it. The mainstream media is NOT reporting this, but I am. I was in Oakland, California when the city council voted to decriminalize shrooms, as has been widely reported by the media. But this law did not only decriminalize shrooms, but all natural psychedelics, including DMT! The city council meeting was amazing because numerous scientists and doctors, as well as numerous members of the public, spoke to the city council about how amazing psychedelics were. Imagine a group of people telling the government how amazing psychedelics are... I've never seen something so amazing before! The best part was when a doctor told the city council that dmt was so safe it was "like drinking a glass of orange juice." Luckily I got videos of this, because it sounds so far fetched that people might not believe me if I hadn't. Something amazing just happened, and most people do not realize how important it is! A few days after Oakland passed this law, the economist's instagram post said that their article explained why shrooms need to be everywhere. Shrooms? Need to be everywhere? Yes, that's what the economist said. People who use psychedelics, who were until recently thought of as the scum of the earth by mainstream society, are now going to be thought of as priceless gems who are going to save society. This is very important news! Here is a link to my video which includes footage of "dr dmt" addressing the Oakland city council. m.th-cam.com/video/skhzHPmfqR8/w-d-xo.html
