    I love that you took a moment to rub the dirt off your 2015.

    Wow! You made a really great video & explained the differences so well. Thank you. Both of your bikes are beautiful & love how you went with black instead of chrome trim. Thank you for sharing.

    I like the video. I just bought a fairly new 2016 GW last year and I am not disappointed. And from one vet to another, thank you for your service.

    Very good video. Very informative between both bikes, as it pertains to accessories. It seems the 2015 has more accessories because you have the base model. The 2018 has the "technology" because of its age and redesign. Apples versus oranges. The real comparison (in my opinion) is the ride. You mentioned that you would ride the 2015 across country because of its comfort. I agree. The 2018+ Goldwings do not have the same comfort due to weight and size. Don't get me wrong, they are nice, but it looks like the intent for riding has changed over the years. I use to ride a Goldwing 1500 and the ride was very different than the 1800 I now ride. I loved the 1500 for touring; the 1800 is very good, but it has more power for "other" riding styles. The same applies to the new Goldwings. Between the two, I like the 2015. I'm not a fan of red, but yours really looks nice, not over done . The black accessories was a good idea. Ride safe. NOTE: You are talking about Goldwings wearing a Harley Davidson shirt. What's up with that?!

      😂😂😂 If you look in the background, you might catch a 2013 Harley Davidson VRod Muscle and a 2019 Can Am Ryker. I’m not brand loyal.

    Happy New Year! I like your videos and I'm interested in a GW for my next bike. Could you make a more in depth video of how the bikes ride compared to each other? I can't find a decent one that describes how the suspension is better on one, or the handling, etc. I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it. Thanks!

    Both are nice bikes. I recently purchased a 21 DCT Tour and the DCT alone is worth the upgrade in my opinion.

      I don’t disagree.

    Wow, that 2015 has allot of accessories. The 2018 must be over 100 pounds lighter. I went from a 2002 gl1800 with everything to a 2018 with only necessary accessories, like the less weight. Lucky you for having both. 👍👍 one for each wing.

      Yeah. I think I have the 2015 just like I like it. I think it probably has about 30 -35 extra pounds. I like the extra lighting. They look good and it makes me more visible at night.

    Amos, first of all Happy New Year to you and yours. You did a wonderful job explaining both bikes and they're both really sharp. I'm currently riding a 05 ST 1300 & 2012 GW which I really enjoy. I'm curious what made you purchase the 6 speed manual instead of the DCT? I would like to read your response. Thanks and ride safe!!!!

      I was being cheap. $1k difference. That’s it. I kinda regret it but I’m content.

    Not really a comparison I was hoping for , but an accessory show off ...

    • @hoodini37
      @hoodini37  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s about right. Just “comparing” the accessories on each one. I guess I could do a comparison geared toward the riding or performance. I have resisted doing that because they are so different. However, I can do a comparison and contrast video.

      @@hoodini37 would be interesting . Performance , engine , gearbox , fueling , suspension and handling etc . Ergonomics , long distance comfort , passenger feedback etc . I'm sure there's some pros and cons to both , but for some folks that don't have a chance to ride both it would be interesting for sure .
