RussOlsenVideo I broke my wii u because it tripped on the floor where my wii u was and my knee whacked the screen. The screen still works I just can tap at anything what should I do.
After procrastinating for 2 months I decided to fix my Wii U game pad, and I followed the instructions you gave us viewers, and mine works like new again. The only thing different was mine didn't come with "The other portion" of the screen (6:38). Instead I careful peeled the old one off my old screen and it still worked out fine.
We did it!!! My wife and 3 kids were in on it. It was a family event. My son's wii u gamepad screen is now fixed thanks to you and your video. It was much easier than I expected. THANKS again!
My two younger brothers and i spent a bunch of time playing on the Wii U. After finding our old gamepad and this guide, we can finally relive those days. Awesome Video!!!!!
Thanks so much! I was able to fix my son's broken screen. those of u having trouble with the small ribbons, i used a small pair of tweezers and it helped alot.
I FIXED IT!!! Well it definitely was not easy. Had to use more than just screwdrivers. I needed a flat metal ruler to pry some adhesive surfaces, some pliers, and this tool that looks like a pair of hooked tweezers to pull some plugs. At least I was able to successfully replace the LCD at last! The broken one is my trophy and reminder to never rage on the screen again
RussOlsenVideo BUT I kinda discovered a problem with the LCD they sent me... it's bleeding. Looks like there are spotlights shining downwards in my screen. I'm emailing these VideoGameAdvantage people to see if they can give me a new one because they shipped me a flawed screen. And my God they are like "check the wire" and stuff. EVERYTHING'S ALIGNED. idk what else they want. They sent me a faulty LCD screen. They're those kind of "try unplugging and replugging it in and see if it works" kind of people. I did that and it made no difference.
Veteran Nintenerd Hey...do you know how to fix my volume slider? i try to set my volume and it only stays the volume level it was in, It doesnt change!!!
I've fixed my gamepad screen due to this video, so big thanks!!! :) Nintendo have updated the gamepad since this video - there are more ribbons, screws and less clips (replaced by soldered on wires). It's still managable. The motherboard doesn't fully come off but you can move the wires out of the way to get enough clearance to slide the screen out and back in. The old screen needs almost dividing in two as it's the plastic cover screen, not just the black rim that you need to stick onto the new screen as well as the insulator sticker from the back of the old screen. I ended up having to re-dismantle and rebuild the gamepad as when I turned it on I had a tiny bit of black sticky foam in the corner. Make you sure throughly clean the screen and both sides of the protector plastic before installing. I broke the tiniest ribbon grey hinge off, but I did manage to get it back into place. If you look super close there are actually 2 pin prick sized hinges either side of the miniscule grey plastic square - that it will go back into the slots either side of the tiniest plastic ribbon. You have to line it up with the tiny gold wires in the ribbon. Look how the other ribbons/hinge caps are aligned for reference. I found using a rounded pointed tool from a manicure kit helped get ribbons into position. Some clips open by the ribbon, others open from the other side of the clip. I also used 3 separate bowls to store the screws and buttons as they came of of the gamepad. (Made for easier reconstruction.) I used amazon's screen which worked perfectly and came with a magnetic tri-wing mini screwdriver. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01FX8NHEY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
So glad it helped! Also thank you so much for the update, it's been awhile since I filmed this I wondered from some of the other comments if Nintendo had changed it. Looks like they have. Thanks again!
THANK YOU so much! The screen has been broken on our controller for almost 2 years, and I thought it was trash...until I ran across your video instructions. Bought the part and followed your video - VOILA' - it works! Wasn't so hard after all with your detailed instructions. My kids are up and playing and very happy! THANKS AGAIN!!!
As a last resort for those of you like me who managed to break the small grey clasp that hold the smallest ribbon connections. U will need to make a very small fold, right at the end of the ribbon where it connects to the clasp, this will expose the four connection lines from underneath the ribbon. Now carefully slide the ribbon where you folded it underneath the four small connection wires where the clasp used to be ( it is possible if your carefull) and now the fold in the ribbon should be pressing against the connection port wires from the underside. Now you will need to put a small blob of glue(use a glue gun if pos) over the clasp connection and folded ribbon to bond the ribbon in place( make sure this is the last thing you do after connecting everything else, as you will not be able to take apart after glueing) make sure not to use a solder iron as you will mix up all the connections into one
If you're like me and somehow managed to break the long black clip that the wide ribbon from the screen goes into I figured out an easy way to fix it. Take a thin piece of metal ( I used the lid of a mason jar ) and cut it a little smaller than the width of the ribbon. Insert the ribbon into the connector and then carefully insert the the metal shim between the ribbon and the connector it goes into. This will create enough force to secure the ribbon into the connection without it wiggling free. Check your results before putting back together it took me two times but the second time it is holding really well.
Awesome tip, you just saved me $$$. Required a couple dental tools, fine needle nose pliers, magnifying glasses, and a lot of patience, but it's totally possible. Thanks!
My son, in less than a month, broke the screen and pricing out a new controller, we were just making do with the steering wheel for Mario Kart 8. However, when having to put in pins and possible credit card numbers for DLCs, it became apparent that we needed a new screen or controller. Thankfully, I found this video. Thank you for posting it. Really. Thank you. Oh, and by the way, thank you for posting the link to the product on Amazon. That was really helpful.
Great vid. I just changed out my sons LCD panel and this video made it a breeze. I read quite a few complaints on the Amazon reviews saying the new digitizer in this kit was less sensitive than the original so I wound up just swapping the LCD panel only since the original screen was not cracked and still good. The old screen and trim bezel peeled away very easy from the old LCD panel and the double sided tape that was used was even reusable. Just take your time peeling the screen off and it should come off easy without breaking. All total the repair took about half an hour and is well worth the time and effort compared to buying a new/refurbished gamepad, or giving Nintendo $100 to repair it.
Big thanks Olsen, it worked! But it was harder then I expected. For those trying it now, the ribbons are your ennemy! ;) For the big ribbons, you have to lift the plastic pieces on the same side the ribbon enter. For the TWO very small ones (up and right), you have to lift on the opposite side. For the rest, follow the video. Can't get the volume to work. I was not sure how to reput that part and the sliding button don't feel right. Result: it's always 100% on.
Took a little less than an hour for me. I didn't have to remove those larger buttons. Thanks a lot for this. My son is happy to have his wii u back in working order!
Thanks dude. Fixed mine and it works like a charm. Came with LCD, digitizer, two screwdrivers, and a couple of screen protectors for $27 on eBay. Took me about 3 hours.
Very easy to follow direction. Screen is fixed. Store was charging me $170 and I bought the screen from Amazon for $36. Thanks for this helpful video. My 10 year son is now a happy little man.
Fixed my LCD screen! I am a novice and have gotten my screen back to full working order thanks to this video. There were a couple of tricky parts, but I took my time and it worked out. My kids can now have their game pad for Christmas.
FYI: At 5:20 if your cover plate is BLACK, like mine, you need to also remove 2 screws below the circuit board w/the charging connector because the cover plate extends beneath it. BTW good tutorial
+Michael F Thank you for pointing that out. Hopefully it will help someone else who has the black cover plate. I didn't realize that some were different.
+RussOlsenVideo Yeah also the 2 red & black speaker wire plugs were hard wired on to my main board but there was enough wire length to get around and remove/replace the LCD.
It's fixed!! Thanks. Took about 1 1/2 hours, watching your video and pausing at each step. Yes, those two tiny little ribbon cables. Finally I used a pair of tweezers and a magnifying glass to get the small ribbons lined up with the tiny slots. Thanks for a great video!!
At least you didn't break both of your 3ds xl screens while raging at smash bros. I set my 3ds on my bed and punched it so hard that both screens are completely broken. At least now I have an excuse to buy the new model
This video is great. I replaced the cracked screen on my son's controller (kept the original touchscreen/digitizer as I knew this worked) and I put it all back together just fine after watching your video, now the controller is fully working. Thanks! The screen replacement was £17 including post (UK seller from ebay) and the tri-wing screwdriver was about £2 from Amazon , so I saved a lot of money.
RussOlsenVideo Um, hey, well i followed your video and now the volume slider doesnt set my volume anymore, it only stays at the volume it was in, i kept trying and trying but it doesnt change at all, please help
Who also punched the screen while losing in Smash Bros? God i hate it if a Charizard player uses his flame to edgeguard, and than you die in such a stupid way that you just have to rage.... Oh one question, the glas is not broken, it just looks like it is broken, what i have to do?
Yes, I put those links in a while ago so you may want to do a search just to make sure you're getting the best deal. You'll probably need the screens and the tools.
My son still plays the Wii U... is obsessed with making Miis and was so bummed when the screen broke. I didn't want to invest another $250 in an outdated system so I figured I'd attempt the repair myself. Your video was great! Wii U is fixed and working perfectly again! Thanks so much :)
+Lil_joey9735 yeah mine broke when on Splatoon, what I hate is the controller is not under warranty like the console which is BS! it gonna cost me £85 to get the screen repaired -_-
Rhinosaur they don’t clip on to the slot to where they go, but put in the ribbon in the slot, and then the bring down the flap to make sure the ribbon is secured down
I just want to say THANK YOU!!! I replaced the screen, and everything is in perfectly working condition. The Wii U is one of my favorite consoles of all time, and I would have been so disappointed if I couldn't get my gamepad fixed. I had never torn down and replaced anything in any kind of machine. I wanted to at least try to fix my gamepad, but I was thinking that I would mess something up inside of the controller. I just finished replacing the screen, so Thank You very much!!!😅
You're welcome. I'm just really happy this has helped so many other people. When I broke mine it was hard to find one tutorial that explained just the screen, so I had to watch videos showing entire tear downs just to figure it out, that's why I created this. Thanks for sharing, it means a lot :).
Trying to do this now, broke the thinnest ribbon's clasp (near the really wide ribbon at the top). I still have to do the other one. BIG NOTE: The clasp opens up the opposite way compared with all the other ribbons. Wish Russ Olsen explained this in the video :(
Other one turned out fine. The thin ribbon cable near the wide one feeds into the touch screen digitizer I found. The clasp gives it the small pressure needed for a connection. My best bet was to tape down the neck of the cable just before the connection for downward pressure. Working for now...
I picked at it from the wrong end before realizing my mistake, and ended up bending the prongs up by a few microns. This caused the touch screen to not work at all, and caused me many hours of tearing my hair out while trying every combination of new/old equipment. The change in prongs was literally almost imperceptible to the eye, but as a last ditch effort I messed with them and forced them down again (they're resilient, keep at it), and the new screen started working immediately! tl;dr Open the clasp form the opposite end of the ribbon people!!!
Two ribbon cables are extremely thin (I'm including a picture). The left one is for the touch screen and the right one is for the LCD screen backlight. All the other ribbon cable latches open up from the same side as the cable going in. The two tiny ones open up from the other side. oi68.tinypic.com/15886yd.jpg
I'm including another pic. The bottom right cable opens up easily and the same way as the other ones except for those two tiny display cables. oi63.tinypic.com/eueqdw.jpg
+Blake Thrift My kids really want that game! Hopefully our controller will be okay if they end up getting that game for Christmas. Good luck with everything.
+Gamemaster? 1234 Check WIK GeiSand Gaming on Amazon to see if they have it. I just updated my link in the description. I don't know if they sell it separately or not, you may be able to message them.
"It's not really that difficult" *proceeds to struggle with removing 1 tri wing screw* Edit: nvm I got it, also I managed to fix my screen, thanks! However the volume slider doesn't slide left and right fully and also the touch screen doesn't work but besides that it works fine 👍
Thank you for this video, I know nothing about electronics, and I saved myself $100 following your video and repairing my Wii u myself after our puppy broke our screen. You rock!!
Help! This is the first time in my life I broke something out of rage and im really worried that my mum is going to freak out... What should i do? Im surely not going to play that game until im sure that im not raging though...
Lit Leaf step 1. Call nintendo and see if you have a warranty, though thats pretty unlikely theyll fix it for free, a replacement is currently 99$ Step 2. Buy the nintendo switch instead
Thanks for this detailed repair guide. I was able to fix our gamepad digitizer with a replacement part from Amazon which has saved us money but also provided longevity to the Wii U. Our 5 year old daughter is happy once again being able to play Mario while our younger son watches Cbeebies...
You just saved me so much money! Your video was easy to follow and great quality. I’ve never worked on electronics before in my life but I took the chance and spent $30 on a screen and screw driver set and was successful at repairing the gamepad all thanks to your video! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
This was a very helpful video! I followed it step-by-step after ordering a replacement screen from Amazon (YTTL Replacement LCD Screen and Digitizer). I took pictures along the way so I could double check my wiring. Took me about 2 hours and I'm not a very technology-savvy person. If you can follow directions and are meticulous, you can do it. Thanks so much for this video! Saved me so much money and time!
Bro you are the best. I bought used wii u for 75$ and with this tutorial and my dad i managed to fix it. The only thing left is to fix not working microphone
Thank you, your youtube video walked me through the screen replacement flawlessly. I had a long metal pry bar that was able to run the length of the digitizer that lifted the rubbery gasket with the digitizer to reuse with the new lcd screen, I think the placement onto the screen was lucky that it was perfectly in place to go back into the case. Thanks.
Awesome mate! Nintendo wanted to charge me $180 for repair or replacement!!! Despite my gamepad having not suffered any impact. Brought a screen off eBay for $30 and followed your video and done:) The only difference I could find compared to your video was that my speakers couldn't be unplugged but they popped out of the housing anyway with the motherboard and I also had to disconnect a ribbon at the bottom and remove the board there to get to the screen guard. Easy done though. Thanks mate!
Props to the video!! Mine was completely black when turned on, now it works exactly ash shown in the video! (I'd recommend watching at 0.75 speed to avoid frustration from falling behind on steps)
Worked well for me, just took me about three hours to complete. I did somehow left a piece of lint or something on the new screen so I have a black spot so tiny in my screen that I just left it as it was. Thanks for the video though! I had a zelda wii u gamepad the I could not replace.
Thid video helped me fix my Wii U, I wanted to mod it but when I opened the storage and turned on my Wii U Gamepad was ruined. Thanks for helping fix my console! I'm having fun with my CFW and Homebrew.
thank you for this very helpful tutorial! I ordered from the link you provided and replaced my screen, It's like nothing ever happened! Thank you again so so much!!
Omg!! I fixed my son's gamepad with this video!! 4 1/2 hours, but it's fixed. Thank you so very much ☺☺☺He is happily playing Super Mario Maker😉#lifesaver
thank u so much my son dropped his game pad on a table edge and well it broke but your step by step was awsome used it as a reference and well it worked just fine after i was done ...thanks again
I finally got mine done after receiving broken screens 2 times in a row (aliexpress) and I only replaced the digitizer so kept the original LCD. And it fits perfectly works great just be really carefull take your time dont get inpatient because its a fiddly job. Good luck!
Followed this video and was able to replace broke screen on gamepad. Those small ribbon wires were pretty difficult to connect back with my big fingers. Gamepad as good as new.
Wow, this was extremely helpful, thank you! Not exactly the best at disassembling electronics and systems, so this is definitely a good start for learning, and, of course, fixing my Wii U GamePad screen.
Thank you so much man, I had some troubles, but I got through them, my only problem is the right speaker does produce the same amount of sound as the left, and I spent like an hour trying to get in the top left small ribbon, but its fine in the end, thanks man
Thank you for this video, I was able to replace the screen in less than an hour. I ordered the screens on Amazon and it came with the tri wing screw driver. It arrived 3 days later. However, the other small tool wasn't going to get here until February so I purchased an eyeglass repair kit from the dollar tree and it has the small screwdriver and other tools you could use to replace the kit. I also found a long pair of tweezers to be helpful. Thanks again!
Very helpful video. I was a little nervous about taking this on, but it was easy thanks to the tutorial. Saved a lot of money this way! Thanks for posting the help!
AMAZING!! Thanks a Million for the video and the links. Ordered, changed and fixed for less than half of what nintendo charges for fixing it. Thank you again. :)
Thank you so much, I followed this step by step, specially the volume switch, I think it works better than before (the volume thing got hard bit after this it feels like new) I bought the screen at amazon, the screw driver and if you follow step by step and you are careful with it it works.
Can’t believe after 4 years I’ve finally thought about fixing my game pad screen
Lol

+Lil_joey9735 yeah mine broke when on Splatoon, what I hate is the controller is not under warranty like the console which is BS! it gonna cost me £85 to get the screen repaired -_-
+SuperPiposaru
I threw my gamepad against the wall after being sick of lagging japanese players lmao
Kuro Japanese Snipers are the bane of my existence.
thank you so much. i’ve been asking my brother for help for years and kept being told that it was “unfixable” and i’m finally just doing it on my own
How are you supposed to attach those tiny ribbons, IT'S SO IMPOSSIBLE!
Rhinosaur they don’t clip on to the slot to where they go, but put in the ribbon in the slot, and then the bring down the flap to make sure the ribbon is secured down
The little eite on the bottom right I unfer that battery thing is annoying
It's been 6 years and I'm sure you figured it out, but tweezers
My son's model was slightly different on the inside but your instructions worked like a charm. Thanks
i broke my screen by raging over 17 failed wifi connectopn tests >:(
GeekyGamerHD 45 same
Mine just stopped while I was playing wind waker, and then it showed up with the cracks
Thank you SO MUCH!!!!! You just walked me thru fixing my sons Wii U after 2 years I had given up hope. It’s a miracle!!! 😄😄😄
That's great! thanks for sharing.
Gamepad fell off bed. Hope this works. Because i will have a very boring spring-break
my situation is worse. SUMMER BREAK. 2 months without gamepad and it possibly wont even be fixed by then. probably 4 months (i hope not)
johnathan plas mines been broken for almost a year and a half
mine's been for 2 years
...how high up is your bed?
I broke mine because of splatoon
same
I broke mine cuz of Mario kart 8, I hate my fucking life right now
We all did
I broke mine because of super mario maker! 😡
My brother broke mine lol
Thanks for sharing, it means a lot :).
what is the wire connecting the back to the main motherboard i accidentally broke but what is it for doesn't seem important please answer asap
Thank you for putting this on video. It took me 5 hours to change out my son's screen. He is so happy, it works!
The change in prongs was literally almost imperceptible to the eye, but as a last ditch effort I messed with them and forced them down again (they're resilient, keep at it), and the new screen started working immediately!
tl;dr Open the clasp form the opposite end of the ribbon people!!!
which ribbon? top, left, right? I don't want to make this error when I try...

FINALLY after more than a year of having a broke wii u, with ur help i fixed it
So glad it helped, thanks for sharing!
Max Santoro - glad you found it helpful!
What screwdriver do I need to unscrew the little screws that are under the little scare stickers
Daleyman123 You'll need the tri-wing screwdriver.
+Blake Thrift My kids really want that game! Hopefully our controller will be okay if they end up getting that game for Christmas. Good luck with everything.
+RussOlsenVideo where do you get the little screwdriver black one .
+Gamemaster? 1234 Check WIK GeiSand Gaming on Amazon to see if they have it. I just updated my link in the description. I don't know if they sell it separately or not, you may be able to message them.
Thank you! followed your guide and now my Wii U lives to fight another day! really appreciate your clear instructions.
"It's not really that difficult" *proceeds to struggle with removing 1 tri wing screw*
Edit: nvm I got it, also I managed to fix my screen, thanks! However the volume slider doesn't slide left and right fully and also the touch screen doesn't work but besides that it works fine 👍
Lifesaver! Fixed the Wii U and made our kids happy again!
Thanks raging mom
Thank you for this video, I know nothing about electronics, and I saved myself $100 following your video and repairing my Wii u myself after our puppy broke our screen. You rock!!
sara coats thank you, so glad it helped!
Help! This is the first time in my life I broke something out of rage and im really worried that my mum is going to freak out... What should i do? Im surely not going to play that game until im sure that im not raging though...
I know this isn't fitting to the topic but I would just need some advice :(
Matei Neagu run
Lit Leaf step 1. Call nintendo and see if you have a warranty, though thats pretty unlikely theyll fix it for free, a replacement is currently 99$
Step 2. Buy the nintendo switch instead
***** Its not a cheap fix
Felix Nilbog The screen only cost 30 bucks online. Better than 250 from Nintendo, that's with shipping. So I would say it's definitely cheaper.
Thanks for this detailed repair guide. I was able to fix our gamepad digitizer with a replacement part from Amazon which has saved us money but also provided longevity to the Wii U. Our 5 year old daughter is happy once again being able to play Mario while our younger son watches Cbeebies...
Spent several hours working on it. turned it on. A black screen.... FML
I had the same problem, what does it mean?
Ana Torres it means I just wasted $33 and 5 hours of my time and I'm getting a ps4.
LOL! Me too! I was hoping for a miracle! LOL
Double check the little ribbons. They are easy to forget, I missed a small ribbon on the side and my screen was black until I attached it.
I'll try tomorrow with a clear mind! Thank you!
I replaced a broken screen with the help of this video. First try success. Thank you RussOlsenVideo.
Nintendo Needs to make wiiu gamepad and I say it cost 50$
Just because the Wii U Failed doesn't mean they have to fucking distraught the people that have a Wii U!
Arilio 19 do u know how much they charge?
I seen one place say 50.
Funtime Joseph dollar sign goes here $117 not here 117$.
Wicked Coolname Ahahaha the French put the dollar sign like that
Les Kish That's one more thing to hate about those silly beret wearing cheese eaters.
Thanks buddy. Saved me $250.00 for a new game pad. The son said you the boss lol. Thanks again.
Thank you so much!! Thanks to you I could repare my gamepad screen in no time ! It was faster than expected ! Thanks a lot
So glad it helped! Thanks for sharing
You helped me save a broken screen on a Zelda Windwaker Gamepad I found for $50 at the thrift store. Thanks man!
Nice find!
Bro you are the best. I bought used wii u for 75$ and with this tutorial and my dad i managed to fix it. The only thing left is to fix not working microphone
Perfect instructions. I fixed my son's gamepad. Back in business 👍🏿
Great to hear!
Thanks for your help! I’ve always been good at fixing things, and I was especially proud of myself for doing this for my son and saving us some money!
I want to thank you. I followed all your instructions and finally I could fix my broken Wii U. Best Regards!
Props to the video!! Mine was completely black when turned on, now it works exactly ash shown in the video!
(I'd recommend watching at 0.75 speed to avoid frustration from falling behind on steps)
So helpful man, you save me a lot of stressing out over whether or not I did it right
Saved*
Worked well for me, just took me about three hours to complete. I did somehow left a piece of lint or something on the new screen so I have a black spot so tiny in my screen that I just left it as it was. Thanks for the video though! I had a zelda wii u gamepad the I could not replace.
Glad it helped :)
Thid video helped me fix my Wii U, I wanted to mod it but when I opened the storage and turned on my Wii U Gamepad was ruined. Thanks for helping fix my console! I'm having fun with my CFW and Homebrew.
thanks so much... you saved me £85! £100 to replace for a new one! easy to follow and not feeling worried if it breaks again..
Awesome! glad it helped!
Just fixed my own thanks to your video! awesome help! My son and i will enjoy this console! thank you so much!!!

My game pad screen has been broken for a number of years until now. It still would be if it weren't for this video. Thank you!
Thanks for the video. Fixed my game pad for my kids just in time for Christmas. Good job bro!
This was very helpful! Really liked the graphic you made of which connectors and cables need to go over the motherboard. Thank you!
I used the links and instructions provided. My screen is fixed. Overall good tutorial.
Thank you for your video, I could fix my wii u because of you 😊
So glad it helped! Thanks for sharing.
thank u so much my son dropped his game pad on a table edge and well it broke but your step by step was awsome used it as a reference and well it worked just fine after i was done ...thanks again
+maddogg3415 Awesome! Glad you found it helpful.
Thank you for this video. All of the necessary stuff without the fluff. Straight to the point
Awesome , this video was very helpful it took 2 hrs to fix my gamepad , first time I've done it and it works like new , thanks
That’s great!
Best video I have ever seen on here with all the directions. Good job.
Thank you for the kind words.
THANK YOU...my kids and i praise you! We were just about to spend $150 for a replacement tablet. Yahoo :-) You rock.
Great tutorial! I just used it to fix a broken screen on my son's Wii u. Thank you very much!!
I finally got mine done after receiving broken screens 2 times in a row (aliexpress) and I only replaced the digitizer so kept the original LCD. And it fits perfectly works great just be really carefull take your time dont get inpatient because its a fiddly job. Good luck!
Great tutorial! I appreciate a lot your chart about wires and plugs! You make the replacement of my screen muche more easy! Thank you!!!
You’re welcome, thank you for the nice comment. So nice to see when it helps.
Followed this video and was able to replace broke screen on gamepad. Those small ribbon wires were pretty difficult to connect back with my big fingers. Gamepad as good as new.
Hi, Thanks for your video it helped alot. The 2 small ribbons are the hardest to attach back to the motherboard, need alot of patience.
Wow, this was extremely helpful, thank you! Not exactly the best at disassembling electronics and systems, so this is definitely a good start for learning, and, of course, fixing my Wii U GamePad screen.
Thank you so much man, I had some troubles, but I got through them, my only problem is the right speaker does produce the same amount of sound as the left, and I spent like an hour trying to get in the top left small ribbon, but its fine in the end, thanks man
No problem, glad it helped!
I ACCIDENTALLY STEPPED ON IT AND IT WAS MY SISTERS OMG I JUST ORDERD ONE AND I HOPE I CAN FIX IT!! THANK YOU!!
+Ilo Areta That's awesome! good thinking on the screw drivers!
thanks ready to fix my son this week gonna see it one more time make sure i dont miss nothing excellent video
+Santiago Ceron Awesome! Glad it worked out for you. Thanks for using this tutorial :)
You might have saved my life, Russ
Thanks for the video. I was able to fix my game pad.
thank you so much! i was about to buy a new game pad but this is much cheaper and more fun!
Thanks a lot, buddy!
I followed your instructions and got my wiiU gamepad fixed!
+Isaias Miranda Thanks for watching, glad it helped you! :)
Thanks for the help! Its been years since I last played my Wii U but I finally sat down and fixed it.
Your video really helped me out last night. Thanks alot.
Thank you so much, I followed this step by step, specially the volume switch, I think it works better than before (the volume thing got hard bit after this it feels like new) I bought the screen at amazon, the screw driver and if you follow step by step and you are careful with it it works.
