  • ‪@4wDegens‬ a Lone Peak Overland camper on a Jeep Gladiator involves several steps to ensure a secure and stable setup. Here is a general guide to help you with the installation process:
    Tools and Materials Needed:
    Lone Peak Overland camper
    Jeep Gladiator
    Wrenches and sockets
    Screwdrivers
    Drill (if necessary)
    Measuring tape
    Sealant (if required)
Mounting brackets and hardware (provided with the camper)
    Ladder or step stool
    Installation Steps:
    Preparation:
Read the Manual: Carefully read the instruction manual provided with the Lone Peak Overland camper. Each model may have specific instructions and hardware requirements.
Clean the Jeep Bed: Ensure the Jeep Gladiator's bed is clean and free of any debris to provide a stable base for the camper.
Check Compatibility: Verify that your Jeep Gladiator is compatible with the Lone Peak Overland camper model you have purchased.
    Assemble Mounting Brackets:
Follow the manufacturer's instructions to assemble any mounting brackets or support structures that will secure the camper to the Jeep bed. This often involves attaching brackets to the camper base or sides.
    Position the Camper:
With the help of a friend or using a hoist system, lift the Lone Peak Overland camper onto the Jeep Gladiator's bed. Ensure it is centered and aligned correctly.
    Secure the Camper:
Attach the mounting brackets to the Jeep bed using the provided hardware. This typically involves bolting the camper's mounting brackets to the bed rails or tie-down points in the Jeep Gladiator.
Tighten all bolts and screws securely to ensure the camper is firmly attached to the Jeep.
    Check Alignment:
Verify that the camper is level and properly aligned with the Jeep. Adjust as necessary before fully tightening the bolts.
    Seal and Weatherproof:
Apply sealant to any gaps or joints to prevent water ingress and ensure the camper is weatherproof.
Check for any potential leaks or weak points and reinforce as necessary.
    Install Additional Accessories:
If your Lone Peak Overland camper comes with additional accessories (e.g., roof racks, awnings), install these according to the manufacturer's instructions.
    Final Inspection:
Conduct a thorough inspection to ensure all components are securely fastened and the camper is stable.
Test any electrical connections or systems within the camper to ensure they are functioning properly.
    Test Drive:
Take a short test drive to check the stability of the camper on the Jeep Gladiator. Listen for any unusual noises or signs of instability.
    Tips:
Work with a Friend: Due to the weight and size of the camper, it's advisable to have at least one other person assist with the installation.
Follow Manufacturer Instructions: Always refer to the specific instructions provided by Lone Peak Overland for your camper model.
Check Local Regulations: Ensure that your installation complies with local vehicle and road safety regulations.
By following these steps, you should be able to successfully install your Lone Peak Overland camper on your Jeep Gladiator. Enjoy your new setup and the adventures it will bring!

Can you add accessories to the side doors. Can you drill to add mounts for tools

Yes you can modify it any way you see fit. If you add too much weight to the side doors you'd need to add a heavier shock to ensure the door still operates correctly

@@Master-Blaster-4x4 I went with the dobinsons stuff because the dual rate HD rear stuff is rated like +880-1200 lbs or something crazy like that

@@4wDegens 👍 i tried those ratings with stiffer springs in the AEV and it was horrible, they increased the lift to like 3.5-4.0 inches with stiffer HD springs made the JT ridiculously high and unstable, i hope you have better luck with the dobinsons,

@Master-Blaster-4x4 I'm hoping with the 400lb camper, loaded out with gear, and a couple hundred lbs in rear bumper/tire swing out and a full size 37in spare it'll bring it back manageable
