Damn it Jake. Every time I think I have made up my mind to purchase an off road trailer, I come across a video like this. I love your setup with the Trail Fort Camper. This video is outstanding and I am now reconsidering my decision about buying the Off Road Trailer again.
Nice rig. Really like that camper design. A friend I camp with frequently has a Vagabond Drifter on a 2nd gen Tacoma. I get jealous sometimes (not of the cost, though). I do most of my camping on the western slope, but I really love the eastern slope. Drove 395 from Big Pine to 89 as part of the last leg of an 11-day adventure in Jan '21. Such a beautiful stretch of highway. And for people interested in identifying tree species, I believe those trees at your first camp are Jeffrey pines. You'll have to head over to the western slope for redwoods.
Was at that same hot springs as you were, on Memorial Day weekend. Stayed up at June lake. Gotta say, that hot spring was a bit underwhelming. The algae and moss was a bit nasty dude. With that being said, it was cold and windy, and the water was warm so it was nice for a minute. Nice build, nice footage, and nice video!
It’s been talked about in multiple videos but trailfort is not a company anymore. And the weight and no options got to me. I wanted something I could stand behind.
@@TheWanderTacowow it’s a good thing I didn’t give them a $509 deposit then as the website is still active and will gladly take your money. Truthfully though I’ve never seen any other mentions of this company before. And your truck is prominently featured on the website so I thought it was your company, and you still direct people to their website in your description of this video. Might want to edit or add a disclaimer if you no longer support them.
I don’t have a garage at my house unfortunately. My tacoma is my daily driver. The last two videos on our TH-cam channel from Utah and Moab I averaged 14-18 mpg
Yours is the only video I have found on this camper. I would like to see more of it on a Jeep Gladiator is it possible
The company is out of business
I like that extra head room you have. Makes a big difference.
This with a bit more options could be a legitimate competitor to Alu Cab too bad they didn't have options for a 2022 Tundra 6.5 bed

Such a good looking build, definitely has me looking at the trail fort now.
8 week lead time right now!

Thanks Jason! Happy travels!
Can you do an update on how the camper is holding up and what kind of problems you may have had if any?
Unfortunately I don’t have the camper anymore.
I thought you bought a TOPO Topper? Did you sell the trail fort camper? Why?
How much mpg when got full load ?

Thanks Kyle!
As always an incredible build 🙌
Thanks team!
Why did you get rid of your Trail Fort Camper, I noticed you now use a Mesa Topo Topper.

From video I couldn't tell, but is there a T Track on top so you can mount awnings and shower room?
There’s custom brackets from trail fort for that!
2 Questions:
Does it still fit in your garage? Do you use your Tacoma as a daily driver? Oh and what is your current MPG right now?

What do you use for editing and filming equipment? 🎥
A variety of stuff! iPhone 12 Pro, mavic air 2, canon 5d mark iv, GoPro hero 8 black and GoPro 360
Redwood trees? Nice camper😊
What’s the price on full size?
