honest question and maybe stupid to a some degree, but when vehicle is hot say from a day driving in the scorching sun, would not all those motor heat, gasses from oil and other liquids basically you will be in their way going up, maybe this stuff is negligible and I am overthinking it, what is the sane take of this thing

I've only had one other person with issues driving and the flaps not staying, I redesigned them a bit last week when they reached out and moved the magnets flush with the sides. I'll send you a set on Monday. Tested them for a couple weeks before I put them up(and now over 5k miles without issue on my truck) , only thing I can think of is the airflow around the trucks are slightly different, so maybe the air just hits them at the right spot. Apologies on that! Will you be at overland rally later this month?

Bear lights! I like the idea of using the side lights when driving a sketchy trail to help with visibility. They're basically like chicken lights on a semi. Very cool. I also like the app and the port for a diesel heater.

its definitely the best price point for a Wedge Camper right now. testing over the newt few years will really show what they are made of. every time a new one in released they seem to clean up the build format a little more. lead times are 6 months plus though so if your in any sort of hurry you won't be getting it this season. Ordered mine today. I had planned on getting a GFC but there were a few things I liked better about this one. #1 it is going on a 1 ton GMC. I do not care abotu the weight. That does not tickle my truck. And I wanted the big top... the overhang on my truck with GFC is only about a foot. I do photography with a buddy and the ability to get out of bed without disturbing your bunkmate... Priceless. I like the electronics integration as well. Yes, you can do that with the GFC but this is already pretty dialed. Easier... The next thing I love is the front window. I like being able to pass stuff or fetch stuff from the cab of the truck... or just to talk back and forth, between the two. You pay a hell of a lot of money for an accessible back window. Putting a piece of glass 1 inch away that you cannot open, makes that worthless. What I miss, maybe... real glass rear window, Not sure how I like the wires running to the latches on the LP, and color choices. But I will happily trade those for the larger upstairs.
Can the back door lock from the inside? My truck tailgate locks so locking that rear door from the inside would be very helpful. Thank you for the walk around and God bless!! ❤️

Kenny , I love the look of the camper, however it seems like a lot of the sleeping area of the camper is not supported where it hangs over the cab of truck. What is the weight rating. I would worry about that bending with a heavier couple up there. Also it might be worth modifying the leading edge of the camper with a fairing of some kind to lower wind resistance and improve fuel economy.
Nice camper. I have a Vagabond Drifter and I love it. I like how your bed goes up. Thats the only thing I would want in mine. Who makes the diesel heater port? Instead of using that ladder you should place your frig up near the tailgate and use that to get up top. I been doing that for many years without problems.

Also I would think a fan could be added on the roof that would work in that area above the pass through. I think Lone Peak has done one thing best- Listen to their Customer Base on how to improve. I love this it would be sooo perfect for my pickup. But the problem I keep running into is my pickup is a Honda Ridgeline. Same bed size as urs but my pickup isnt listed. No company with these campers list my pickup. 🙄 Sooo frustrating.

It's between this, Super Pacific or a Vagabond. I love the bed lift feature of the Lone Peak. But the fact it doesn't have raceways for wiring is a big minus for me. Unless they do and it's not in this video. Also the ladder brackets look like a scalp ripper if you're not careful moving about your bed. Thank you for this video. Very helpful.

You have to lock them from the outside then climb in and shut the doors. You can open all the side doors on the camper from the inside even if they are locked 👍

The door cannot be locked from the inside. You have to lock it then close it. You can however open it from the inside when it’s locked 👍 God bless!

It’s a great camper! The rectangle box is a water tank from Rinse Kit. The solar panels were an add on from Lone Peak. 👍
