- Paul and Susan Cowsill talks with Network News about their songs, Ed Sullivan and their future. These are two of the nicest down to earth people you could ever meet! . i cant wait to see them again
Thanks, Cowsills. I was in middle school in 67. What a wonderful time to be 13 years old listening to you guys.
Saw them in concert 4 times. My friend and l got to sit on the bleachers with Sue and Barry, at Topsfield fair in Mass. We just asked some guy who was closing the gates if we could come in, thinking he would just laugh at us, but he let us in, just 2 of us, while my mom and the rest of the group were looking for us, we were just sitting shooting the breeze. They were both very sweet!
I was there also. Met Barry over by the trailers. Snuck in somehow, and gave him a t-shirt for his upcoming birthday at the time. It's in my diary.
Cannot say enough good things about these two. Both good people and Susan a beautiful person.

Paul and Susan are my two favorite Cowsills. They are the two who, in my opinion, tell it like it is! Well - Richard was too. They don’t mince words and are straight forward about their past. God bless the Cowsills. I hope I can see them perform soon.

Paul looked after Susan. She actually went to live with him at one point to escape their crazy Dad.
I was in a restaurant 1968 summer in Toronto Canada ,and somebody put on indian lake song. Well all the native Indians in the restaurant started dancing and singing

Thanks for the video. I have been rediscovering the Cowsills after many many years when I saw the Showtime documentary. What a talented family. Paul always seems a little hyper. LOL

Ya know I was a fan in the 60s. Actually re-became a fan in 2000 and rebought several of the recordings. I sure enjoyed the Showtime Documentary.

I really like the way they get along and carry on with each other. They certainly have had an interesting life. Great stories. And I like how they come off in interviews. I just like them. And youtube knows that and sends me everything Cowsill at the moment. So I'm riding the Cowsill history wave.
[Blink!] Movies? Book deals? Box sets??? They're so calm about it all, and I'm going, "Where?! When?? Where are they?!? I want, I want, I want, hurry, hurry, hurry!!" and jumping up and down. (But then, when it comes to this band, I get easily excited) And new abums??? The Cowsills can put out an album a week and I'd scarf them all up. Has any of this ever been updated?
Tell me about it. Check ebay. They want alot of money for cds espically the cd Global it's Oop which means ( out of print) staring price $125. ,another $225. Seriously ? An amazing record...the song " A few good years " which played over closing credits on Cowsills family band documentary...I searched for that song. Can't pay those prices... please re release your catalog
So sad what the parents did to those children there real nice adults after all the abuse they suffered from the horrible parents

Trying to work out when this interview was. I know that at least two have passed away now, Barry, I think killed in Hurricane Katrina. Deeply saddened.

Why does Paul change his voice at 1:44?
He's mimicking Ed Sullivan, a (once?) famous variety show host. Sullivan was the guy that introduced The Beatles to America.
Sounds like they're dissin' the band (especially Bob). Get over it you two. Bill, Bob, Barry and John were and still are the Cowsills.
So are Paul and Susan. And don't forget their mother Barbara, who was also in the band.
