Let's give this woman all the flowers that she deserves while she is still with us. Not because of her acting career, of which I have no very little, but because she is apparently a very intuitive and compassionate humanitarian who spoke truth to power at a time that it was even more difficult than it is today to speak out on behalf of palestinians. She has always been on the side of palestine, and not just at the Oscars, and she deserves a lot of thanks for that. She chose integrity over popularity. Aren't too many actors who can compare to her in terms of that.

I am 69 and I have seen several of Vanessa's movies , she was kind of a teacher for me, she acted in different Historical times, I enjoyed her acting and "the History classes" ..... I was in the movie theater with my mother, who loved cinema too, most of the times during Brasil's dictatorship years, we went to the twin - towns of Rivera - Uruguay and Livramento - Brasil to see the banned / censored films .... , teacher camila, form Southern Brasil.

I would love to have been clever enough to write a play about Garbo (Vanessa) Deitrich (Sian Phillips) meeting in the next life. They could have discussed all the things in life from Plato to Brexit. ❤🎉
