They come with the rubber topper for the Austrian bikes to protect the filter getting a hole from the cage. I feel like their glue might be a little subpar though! Twin Air I usually rot the foam before the glue dies, FWF the glue completely dissolved and the foam was perfect still.
I tried two of these , used bell ray foam + cleaning agent + grease on rim. After 2 cleanings on each filter I put them away for the week and when I pulled them out to use the foam was completely falling apart these weren't cheap and I'm disappointed in their performance and quality would not recommend.
Bought one a while back oiled it up just like any other filter. I have done millions of times before. Evenly distributed the oil made sure not to over do it. However I noticed poor throttle response and the bike would die at idle. It wasn’t getting enough air. This filter was choking the bike. I switched back to twin air and haven’t had a problem since. Maybe on a 450 or 500 with a bit more compression it would be fine, my 250 did not like it.

Would this be good on a KTM EXC 500? Also how do you clean these filters? How many times can you clean them before you have to buy a new one?

That's a bummer, I haven't heard of that happening before. Thanks for checking out the video and letting us know how it worked for you.
Never heard of that on mine
