Fighting back doesn’t work I tried everything I was bullied in primary, secondary and tertiary education and in the workforce for over twenty years it leaves you psychologically scarred.

It’s a shame to hear that bullying can happen at any age. This is why teen depression / suicide is on the rise. And then as a community we wonder what was wrong with them?

In Singapore bullying and Psychopath is at NTUC supermarket. They have a facebook where customers who are not happy with staff upload their photos.... These customers are cowards and encouraged by organisation. They should be charged with slandering. And the staff be compensated. 🐕💰💰🐕

I think one gets bullied if one lets it happen...one needs to stand up for one self immediately and control the situation....

Technically you are correct but in practice life is often more complicated than that. Victims in the workplace feel torn between rocking the boat at work, and trying to appease or wait out the bullying so as to preserve their vital source of income. Victims can be "outnumbered" or "outranked". Then there's the often creeping nature of bullying. Bullies often start off small with thinly veiled "jokes", aggressive comments, unsupportive gestures, etc. before becoming more and more blatant. Sometimes they may never progress to "obvious bullying". Finally, some people are simply better at standing up for themselves than others. Physical differences are a small piece of this, the biggest factor is mental. We are simply all wired differently. Many people are so naturally timid or averse to conflict that they're the human equivalent of a deer. Others are completely naive as to how bullying can progress because it's never happened to them. A deer would never think of behaving like a wolf. A deer doesn't even know HOW to behave like a wolf. It would be much easier for a dog or even a cat to behave like a wolf.
Not making excuses, just trying to colour in reality. What do you and others think?

Wrong I’ve confronted my bully many times and stood up for myself but no one can stand up to mobbing and bullies that actually gang up on peoole in the work place. Often they are friends with the boss and get a pass to bully.

That's easier said than done. Oftentimes, managers and co-workers will side with the bully and you will be seen as a troublemaker and will be punished, driven out or fired.

I wonder who wants to bully her. But again bullying isn´t neither fair nor rational. It´s distractionmanouver to hide that the bullyers haven´t got a good life either...

Perhaps. I prefer to describe bullying as theft of power. The bully spots a weaker/vulnerable person, they know that person will probably cower, so the bully attacks. For what reason? To feel powerful. But the victim has their power drained.
