Excellent job sir, I just brought my swivel kit today, the instructions are very vague, you made it so easy I got this done within 30 minutes. So much easier cut the grass with the 360 wheels

Picking mine up Saturday with casters already on. The larger engine is what made me pick Scagg over the Exmark 30.

I see the new version has the swivel wheel option from the factory, you can still order the older fixed front wheel model, not sure why anyone would want that on a mower this size, but you can still order it that way...should have been swivel wheels from the beginning.
I would love one of those but they're $3k. I don't mow enough lawns for that LOL.
The casters definitely make a huge difference. Maybe the price Will go down soon so you can enjoy owning one. Thanks for watching

I'm still in the process of getting caster wheel for my scag 30 gen 1. It's 400 plus for the caster wheel
Yeah they’re expensive but so worth it man.

Are there grease zerts on those casters or do you remove top castor plate and grease them ( pack ) them ( grease) from the top?
What's up Frank. I didn't notice any way to grease the casters to be honest. Looks like they're self contained as far as I can tell. I could be totally wrong but that's what I see. Thanks for checking out the video.
Currently between this Scag and the Toro Timemaster. Any opinions on the two?
Hey Jason thanks for watching. So I’m coming from a timemaster to this Scag. The Scag is 2 1/2 times more expensive and 1000 times better than the timemaster. If you’re a true lawn Junkie get a Scag. Tons more power and suction. Make sure to pay the extra coin for the caster version. Hope that helps.
Just cause I was in a store today and did the comparison: Turf master is the competitor for the Scag 30.
Can i ask where u got or ordered the wheel assembly from?
I ordered mine through my local scag dealer. You should have one on your area. If not try my dealer. Horizon Turf and Garden.
Curious - blade drive cable … have you seen yours shred ? Just bought one. 5.5 hours in. The blade engage cable shredded / broke
Must be a defective cable. Never had an issue with mine or heard others mention it.

Upgrade wheels due it getting stuck going a flat surface. This mower sucks!!fw15 for the w
This mower has serious issues with the blade clutch. They go out between 85-100 hours. If you try to adjust the blade clutch cable, it will lock up the bearings and it will not pull after that. The steel side chute plug is held in by a fragile clasp. It broke the first week. Also the blade belt broke after 10 hours. Do not buy this mower. Its a well known problem and you will be frustrated. I do this for a living and this is one of the worst mowers I have ever owned. Also, it weighs as much as a motor cycle.
Sorry you’re dealing with so many issues with your mower. Hopefully mine won’t have any of those issues you speak of.

John, mine went out at 70ish hours been in the dealer twice. My pull cord and blade belt both broke at around 15ish hours. Total pos cant wait to get rid of mine. Switched over to the toro 30'.
