There was probably hundreds of thousands of different bases or outposts that the Galactic Empire left to rot or decay considering how Phoenix’s Squadron literally were getting a lot of Republic equipment in those abandoned bases, and really shows a lack of care from the Empire to securing of their valuable resources.
I like how Kamino and Rothana are so obscure despite how important they are. Makes a man wonder what would've happened if Rothana decided... oh, I dunno... started building a new army to fight the Empire?
@@АлексейМомот-щ7о Well, during the post-CW era Rothana sorta gets sidelined by KDY - only producing a handful of designs. I can imagine that whoever rules Rothana isn't really happy that after all they've done for the galaxy, they've been delegated to be 'just another arms dealer company' and wants to be something outside the shadow of Kuat. Currently writing a little fanfic story wher Rothana is ruled by a branch family of Kuat, descended from Quiberon Kuat who found Rothana in the first place - and his descendents becoming known as 'House Rothana' - and the leader of House Rothana wants their world to become... more.
I always thought that it would make a cool arc if there was an outpost bordering the Unknown Regions that has a conflict with the Yuuzhan Vong and the Republic and CIS forces successfully keep the Vong from invading the galaxy
Just a few days go, when I was watching your video of the GARs many vehicles, I thought: "The kaminoans must have payed well to keep KDYs mouth shut about the secret fleet, but at least one person must have noticed that there was something going on" Now I know better.
Being deployed on a remote base would probably be better overall. Little chance of being involved in a battle, you can relax, drink all day and develop an adult animated series about a talking goldfish with a German accent being held prisoner by a CIA agent and his family.
Remote locations have been used to listen in on communications from adversaries. The CIA has a network in Australia that listens to multiple communications without the notice of others. Perhaps the same was used in remote military outposts that looked strange in their location.
The base on Pantora actually makes a lot of sense if you factor in Palpatine's grand plan. Given the sith conspiracy to make Pantora highly loyal to the Republic and later the empire, separatist aggression in a strategically worthless location should have angered the Pantorans, and indeed it angered the very militant chairman who demanded repercussions and a strengthening of republic presence and thus may have been a very powerful imperial ally had he not been killed by the Talz in an unscripted conflict. Therefore the sith were back to square one and had to kidnap the next chairman's daughters and make the CIS the very clear guilty party, and it worked very effectively.
And if they had taken the sector all that region of both republic and wild space between the separatist pocket south of naboo and hutt space, it would have fallen and the confederacy could have make a pinze movement againt all republic worlds whose only Major hiperlane the rimma trade route is under partial separatist control and that would have made malastare to fall and to the conquest of nearly all sistems south of denon in the inner rim
Aliens find this video and they are like " did we miss some part of space or something?", then fallow it up with " get the probes, not the brain ones, the other ones"
So what happend to all of those clones who recived order 66 but wasn’t even close to other Jedi did they just sit there whispering ”Good soldiers follow orders”
Thanks again Folks! Yes indeed, I'd love to see a vid on the Sepi equivalent remote Posts! I'm sure there are a number of them I (we?) are unfamiliar with or just forgot about. :)
Just a little correction on Kamino. Kamino was inside the Galaxy in the unknown regions just outside republic space. Please refer to the film Attack of the Clones!
Let me guess, they never moved on from their goth teen phase, these reassignments? Edit: By the way, having an admittedly temp outpost on a comet actually is based on possible space travel concepts in our real life space programs. You'll never know if our descendants (lucky them) get to see several of these in the next millennia or less.
That's cool in our world, but you'd think the people of Star Wars would be more advanced than us to have moved past this like they have in many other fields. Also, sorry to ask this here, but I only get to talk to you in the comments of a great Geetsly's video, so there's nowhere else I can ask, but would you mind if I used/took inspiration from you're idea of having the Earth Luz, Anne, and the Pin Twins all come from set up a Multiversal Defense Organization for a fanfic idea I have? I'm more then willing to give you credit in the work when I eventually make it because I believe in giving credit where credit is due.
@@zexalbrony4799 We haven't even put men on Mars yet, so... Let's just say I want to see a more action-y concept introduced in any of those Disney shows. Plus, them being a main foe would at least be something more grounded and even mesmerizing than alien invaders, monster infestations, and even the propagandic and oversensitivized Ruskie/ChiCom/MidEast terror threat (the latter fact mostly because nationalistic storytelling isn't prone to age well in the future, no matter what happens), not to mention the perfect opportunity to lambast the excesses and woeful portrayals of the US military and/or the United Nations (with the possibility of said human organization slowly but surely being revitalized and reformed by mostly young operatives who aren't in bad blood with the protagonists).
@@michaelandreipalon359 Oh you want them to be an antagonist at the start. I was just planning to have it be something set up by Mr. X and have him recruit Anne, Luz, and their friends to be a defense force for threats against the multiverse, not just from other worlds but also from corrupt and insane people on Earth who might want to invade these other worlds because after things like Frog-vasion they see them as a threat.
Well, the IGBC was neutral in the war and thus those bases are at most proxy bases since officially they are neutral and in reality they probably did other neutral business that would give them a cover in case of attack. In legends the IGBC seemed to be a lot worse at covering their tracks, but since they were still considered major at the time of the Empire in legends, it is unlikely that they were deemed too separatist.
When you watch the Clone wars series it sure as shit feels longer then 3 years, just seems really short for a Galaxy wide war. At least Halo had a 30 year Galaxy war
If it's possible to have any vids about the Jedi council members views or even views from the military commanders views from the republic and cis respectively would be neat

Yes please, more Star Wars military base videos would be great! 😊 One about the Separatist obscure bases would be super interesting.
Crait should've been a CIS base with the Rebels unleashing an old droid army against the First Order instead of using those dumb speeders.
Now, which of these would make the best setting for a Star Wars Clone Wars tabletop roleplaying campaign...

Love these kinds of videos, gives us more unknown stuff about the vast world of star wars
I am very curious now to learn about some of the CIS’s remote bases!!
Oh yeah, I want the Separatist version of this video. Whose with me?
Remote locations have been used to listen in on communications from adversaries. The CIA has a network in Australia that listens to multiple communications without the notice of others. Perhaps the same was used in remote military outposts that looked strange in their location.
Keep up the good work geetsly!
oh yeah, when are you gonna work on those sith history videos again, would love to see that series continued
Soooooo...
It's entirely possible that the a CIS remnant survived beyond the galaxy proper.

Yeah.
Pantora was also surrounded by separatist worlds so keeping it loyal and having a small garrison there was a pretty good political move.
😪 Rest in peace brother Mayday your light was extinguished too soon. But you'll always live among your brothers within our hearts.
I really find obscure and isolated locations fascinating.
Obscure and isolated locations are TIGHT! 😂
Hey have you ever considered doing a video on remote Separatist worlds?
If you see a map of the csi in its zenit, orto plutonia and the sector were its located has hiperlanes leading to naboo and christophis

Love the videos, really doesn't matter what it's about just find you talking about anything star wars relaxing.
Have a great day everyone 👍
Always a good day when Geetsly uploads 😎
I love your videos clone outpost are very cool and interesting
I kinda want to see the separatist version because we rarely if ever see the clone wars from the droids point of view.
Being a history nut, I enjoy videos with little known facts, the more obscure the better. So, more tours are fine with me.
Aliens find this video and they are like " did we miss some part of space or something?", then fallow it up with " get the probes, not the brain ones, the other ones"

How is it even possible to build a military base on a comet? Furthermore, how does it have a strong enough gravity so people can casually walk on it?
I guess Pally wanted to keep Rothana save for later plans?
