I kind of agree with the iffy-ness of the once-per-turn clause. I like it for balance, but I think there are more creative ways to artificially put that once-per-turn clause into place. And if players find a work around to the artifical barrier, then awesome! Maybe the Wormlet could say something like "When an artifact enters the battlefield, you gain 1 life and put a +1/+1 counter on Teething Wormling If counters have already been put onto Teething Wormling this turn, instead gain 1 life, put a +1/+1 counter on Teething Wormling, and destroy that artifact." (I think saying "sacrifice" would work better for magics rules, but I like the idea of giving the wurmling and indestructible chew toy.)
