Okay 👌 so if I had to pick a cmdr that fit thematically with the lore of Krampus. It would have to be Mogis, god of slaughter, the triggered sacrifice he forces on opponents is symbolic of taking children away, and if your opponents do not sacrifice, then he punishes them by beating them with 2 damage which adds up as the game goes on.

Personally I’m more of a whole deck is a Krampus build. I added the horror toys from Duskmorne since Krampus has toy minions, used a lot of punishment effects, like making players sacrifice creatures, take their things; theft mechanics, incremental damage, and discard effects. I punish players in my pod by controlling the game and slowly draining their life. It’s a 5 color budget deck. I like Villas too.

What’s crazy is that there are now 14 black or colorless cards with half life loss, and 3 of them were printed in the last 6 months! I want to clarify that the triggered abilities will look at the player’s life and calculate the life lost as they resolve. So, Quietus Spike on a creature dealing combat damage to a player with Grievous Wound would result in the player losing half his life then half his remaining life (20 -> 10 -> 5).

This video was so bad... under 3 minutes long and you still wasted so much time just to go, "the card is good." Maybe drop the history angle and give us some examples of good cards to use along side this card. For example in one of the precons is a card that if you tap it, it flips cards.

I never considered tapping it with crew/saddle. Holdout Settlement, Survival Encampment, (omitting Scene of the Crime,) and the O.G. Springleaf Drum. They work great to avoid the downside of cards like Emberwilde Caliph while you pass it around using Assault Suit.

It's also great in any black devotion deck.

Disclaimer, this Combo will probably end friendships. Here's how to break Kill Switch: Mycosynth Lattice Kill Switch 2 mana Clock of Omens At least 2 other permanents Activate Clock of Omens, targeting any permanent you control other than Kill Switch, holding priority. Activate Clock of Omens again, targeting any permanent you control other than Kill Switch or the first permanent, again holding priority. Tap 2 mana to activate Kill Switch. Resolve Kill Switch activation. Resolve 2 Clock of Omens activations. Now everything but Kill Switch can't untap. On the last EoT before your turn, activate Clock with your 2 permanents from before to untap Kill Switch. Untap as normal. Repeat. Net effect: one-sided Stasis lock. Normally Lattice + Switch would be bad because Switch would untap, but prevent the rest of your stuff from untapping. So you need a way to untap it at instant speed before you untap.

Couldn't you also declare attackers and after that tap all creatures, so no one could block?

So any deck that isn't slinging sorceries and instants constantly is just gonna have their turn economy decimated...

This explains why Killswitch jumped to like $9 in price randomly...

Hey I got a question to u regarding the 208 games in 1 ds cartridge. Are u still using it, and if u are is it still working? Ive heard alot of positive reviews on this but I cnt find anyone who's used it long term that can actually confirm that it's usable long term. Like if I wanted to finish all the pokemon games over the course of a year or 2 would the cartridge be alright? No software or hardware issues, no lost saves, etc. It isnt actually made by nintendo themselves so thought I might ask if it still runs fine. Do u have any thoughts, would u recommend it for long term use?

I kind of agree with the iffy-ness of the once-per-turn clause. I like it for balance, but I think there are more creative ways to artificially put that once-per-turn clause into place. And if players find a work around to the artifical barrier, then awesome! Maybe the Wormlet could say something like "When an artifact enters the battlefield, you gain 1 life and put a +1/+1 counter on Teething Wormling If counters have already been put onto Teething Wormling this turn, instead gain 1 life, put a +1/+1 counter on Teething Wormling, and destroy that artifact." (I think saying "sacrifice" would work better for magics rules, but I like the idea of giving the wurmling and indestructible chew toy.)

Ok yes in an urza deck it is ok. It is a mana rock that can sac itself to prevent graveyard recursions. Grafdiggers cage provides a similar effect, but doesnt prevent the graveyard from being shuffled back in.
