Its been a soggy Autumn up here Stephen so you are not alone in getting damp. The colder weather will hopefully bring a dryer spell ..but i might need to get a stove for my vango ..if I can find one I wont roll into during the night. enjoyed your video :-D

Great video once again, surprised being by water no dinghy. I was trying to catch your accent because with your videos mainly in Scotland I thought you would be from there, in the few words you said about rain it sounded more like the midlands but that would be to far surely to travel so much? Thanks for sharing Ray K UK 🇬🇧 YNWA.

      Hi Rod
In Scotland you're allowed to camp in most places after the 'right to roam' act was past.

Guys, I like your videos but please read the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. Open fire is a no no. Fishing is not allowed in Loch Awe either
    The Access Code says:
Wherever possible, use a stove rather than light an open fire. If you do wish to light an open fire, keep it small, under control, and supervised - fires that get out of control can cause major damage, for which you might be liable. Never light an open fire during prolonged dry periods or in areas such as forests, woods, farmland or on peaty ground or near to buildings or in cultural heritage sites where damage can be easily caused. Heed all advice at times of high risk. Remove all traces of an open fire before you leave.

      Hi
Loch Awe is one of the most popular fishing Lochs in Scotland :)
The open fire was small and supervised.

      Hi
We did take all our own wood for the stove but my friend who went for the first time, wanted to build a camp fire .
What's the problem with using dead wood ?
      Thanks

@@pr1tch1 its a huge problem. Up here in Scotland we have the right to roam but that dosn't mean we can do as we please. Dead wood in a forest is just as important to the eco system as every living tree and to ever other creature that lives in that forest so if a wild camper starts cutting up and burning dead wood then the next wild camper comes along and does the same, then the next and next and next ect where does it end? Wild camping in Scotland is being closely watched by its councils and government because some wild campers are doing as they please and wasting it for everyone. I'd hate to see the wild camping restrictions that are in place in England being put up here in Scotland.

@@grahamharkness5744 I never thought about it like that . Thanks for educating me on the subject. 👍
