  • Amazing time with my partner Zoe spent wild camping, kayaking, flying some kites and a spot of exploring around Loch Fyne and Loch Awe in Scotland, a beautiful place, amazing scenery, amazing locals.
Loch Fyne is a huge sea loch on the west coast of Scotland that reaches from the Argyll mountains to the sea north of Arran. The loch stretches 40 miles from the Sound of Bute, making it the longest sea loch in the country.
Loch Awe is Scotland's longest freshwater loch at more than 25 miles in length, connecting to the Atlantic Ocean via the River Awe and Loch Etive. Traditionally Loch Awe was the home of Clan Macarthur, later followed by Clan Cambell.

@@JeremyWharton I’ve never been Scotland before but am doing research now for next year. This is a spot I’ll store on file. Should I know more about this particular spot(how far from otter ferry etc) so im able find it? Or is there lots of similar spots around this loch where I could pitch at random? Thanks stu

That particular spot was about 0,5mile to a mile east of Otter Ferry there's several spots along that road, watch out for the Scottish midges take a headnet, really is a beautiful part of the world enjoy, we'll be going further north next time.
