Love this. As a father of two young girls myself I can see what a great bond you're forming with your daughter, as well as giving her some unforgettable memories ❤
Thanks Nathan! Yeah really are wonderful words to hear in the morning as a parent! Much better than can I watch my iPad or tv etc ey? That's awesome how old are yours??
@@EzeAdventurer my 11 yr old girl has wild camped up kinder, my 8 yr old boy, bit more cautious. Not even camped in the garden yet. We’ve got a campervan they’ve both grown up in so used to waking up on the isle of mull or a like lol. 🤙
Just happened across this video and can’t help smiling 🙂 that’s one very intelligent young lady you have there…so heartwarming to see the Love you have for each other ❤
What a great experience for your daughter to have alongside her father, and father with daughter, superb. Stunning scenery topped off with a beautiful sunrise, one of the Lochs I plan on canoeing, so good to see you video of it, all the best🥃.
Eze, you’re an inspiration. I have two young boys and since I’ve introduced them to your videos we pick rubbish up everywhere. Planning to do a canoe trip down the Wye with them soon. Have an inflatable canoe and wondering how much I’ll be able to carry. I’d love a video of your planning and packing for a trip as every one of your films is educational and your enthusiasm makes it an easy lesson. Keep up the good work and much love sent to you and your family.
Thanks so much for the kind words, and what an amazing activity to do with the kids, sowing the seed of good for the planet too, they will lead in turn others in the future. I'd like to do a gear video sometime I know it's overdue just can't get around to it :-)
Awesome, dude. You're doing things right. In 30 years' time, your daughter will look back on these times with fondness and tell her family about your adventures together
Your kids are awesome, well done mum and dad on giving them an excellent upbringing. Your philosophy about life and how you live is definitely for a healthy mind body and soul for your entire family ….. really this way of thinking and living should be explored and tried by many many more people …. the rewards they would reap would be unlimited 😊. You living your best life keep going
Thank you so much!! This is what it's all about. Collecting memories, not things. We still struggle with our kids being exposed to so much materialism, as sometimes we do ourselves, but this is a great way to dissipate all that and connect to a much more powerful source of happiness!
What a great way to unleash your inner adventurous child - to do this with your daughter. I would love to do something similar sometime with mine. Good on you!
Thanks mate!! It's SUCH a stunning place - needs to be loved, cherished with the respect and care it deserves!! Hope you get a chance to visit it soon!!
Thanks Dennis!! Yeah these memories are truly priceless and agree, safety first approach had to be exercised in this instance, was the right decision. Happy new year coming buddy, hope it brings much blessings.
I know those islands well, Ruaridh Mohr was the fist one and an excellent place to camp despite the slope. I’ve also been stuck for hours waiting for the squalls to die down. Great fun exploring!
What an absolutely beautiful area, that deserves the highest of respect, love and care! I should have taken that sloping first site!!!!! I can see how the wind is a major factor!
Thanks so much James! Yeah we were privileged to witness this place, absolutely stunning place. I hope it continues to be treated with highest of respect and care - which it totally deserves. Thanks for watching!
Great resilience faced with several challenges. Well done the pair of you and great guidance from you Eze making the responsible safe decisions. I enjoyed hearing the ‘noise of silence’ 👍🏻
Well, we can see who was the expedition leader and philosopher on this trip...The "noise of silence" and "so hope is always, the thing to feel like." Should be on cups and T-shirts, get that merch out there man. You have an advertising genius in the family.
She really was the leader, very often lifting my own spirits. Those words were beautiful, glad you picked them up mate! She's a gem, my little (but mighty) explorer daughter! Thanks for the comment, I will relay it to her, she'll love it
It is really so beautiful mate!! Yeah it's always a happy time when in a canoe, anywhere in the world really!! 🙂 Pleasure sharing, it's a stunning area that deserves much care and love in protecting it. !
Nice camping trip out with the girl, cant wait to do the same and such a beautiful location. Shame you didn't get the weather to do the two nights, but definitely made the right call. Take care, Paul.

All part of the experience and super grateful it happened as it did. I love the video! Amazing scenery and glad you had a fellow young adventurer by your side! I have a question for you. What Canoe is that and where can I get one from?
Hi, came across your channel and I love it, just subscribed. You do the same types of trips I like to do and I'm always interested to see how other people do things, so I have a couple of questions about how you transport everything. I notice you have barrels. Do you just carry them like that or do use harness/bags. And are they checked in on the plane as they are?
Thanks for the sub! Re barrels: I like to use them when the trip in question involves little or no portaging. They are awesome in the canoe. Not so much to carry them straight. You can buy harnesses too but then I'd rather a portage pack I think to save on weight. You can check them in to airplane, I put my gear inside the barrel, and the barrel inside a duffel, there's an AWESOME duffel from decathlon here's the link: www.decathlon.co.uk/p/trekking-carry-bag-80-l-to-120-l-duffel-500-extend/_/R-p-156360 It's expensive but it's huge and SUCH good quality. Highly recommended.
Hey Josh, thanks man! I like it very much for using it in remote places, or for the logistical gains that you get out of it. However, nothing quiet like a solid canoe in my opinion. I find the normal canoes to track better and cut through the water better too. On rapids, these absorb more of the impact perhaps due to flexibility. I'd always opt for a 'normal' canoe where possible, but sometimes it's just not possible and that's where this one comes in!
I imagine your wife is thankful there is no water on the moon because if there was, you would be canoeing there next. Your daughter's enthusiasm and commentary are priceless. She upstages you.
Hi mate, thanks for the tip, yeah safety wise that's probably the best call. I did have plenty of spare clothes but that's not helpful if you're in the middle of the lake. I did make the call to turn back and cut the trip short largely because I didn't have that margin, and I wasn't willing to be on the water on any wind or waves higher than that.
@@EzeAdventurer Aye, you called it right there. Things can change far too quickly mid crossing when the tempest blows. You can tell I'm a father, too, when I mentioned the wetsuit for your little one. It's the best thing to do as to swim to a lake shore takes a bit of time, and a wetsuit gives you that time.
