Yea it’s an amazing place, I’ve been looking to buy a wee boat project hopefully one comes up soon. And yea the midges are lethal up there mate but well worth puttingup with. Thanks for watching it’s much appreciated.
No probs -still got a wee day boat but only use it on Lomond now but not had it out since pre-covid. If you end up with a project boat and are going to leave it up there go in and see Richard The farmer at Portinsherrich - we were about £600 a year to leave boat there on a running line (saves a lot of trouble) (that was a few years back though) and in his waterside field in deep winter. Ardbrecknish and Ford is expensive. On the other hand if you are going to tow it about to different lochs don't bother! 😀...wish I had filmed all those years, but too busy fishing! 🎣👍

loch awes my favourate loch,been fishing all my life....and where you are fishing in this video,i have fished there at least 20 times..good wee spot...
Yea it definitely was probably one of the best spots at Loch awe yet, even though I only got 1 wee Jack lol have had so. E pointers though and I know exactly where to cast my bait next time, fingers crossed for a mamma lol Thankyou for watching mate it's much appreciated. Heyup.. sure we've been in that wee bay pal. Caught pike,brown trout and a few rainbow's. They escaped the fish farm due to otters ripping the nets. A few years back now but a beutiful loch non the less👍👍
yea its an amazing bay, and they escaped again around a month and a half ago, around 5-8000 i believe. Steven caught a huge blue trout on a large mackerel dead bait i couldn't believe it. Great Stuff - had a wee fisher boat on the Awe for 15 years, amazing place - midges can be violent...even with a raging fire. 👌👌👌
