  • Part two of a now three-part series. Follow along with me as I plan, attempt, fail, then finally succeed in disassembling the blade on my 2003 Honda HRR2162SDA (S/N MZCG-6759144) lawnmower so I can actually get to the hard part of the repair: straightening the bent crankshaft.
In this part, we use a piece of pipe to attempt [foreshadowing] to take the bend out of the crank.
    Part 1: • I Straighten My Shaft ...
Parts for said mower are actually found under another number on the Honda and other sites. Search for "HRR216K2SDAA" to find the right serial number range.

I did it on mine, using the handle of a Conduit bender, took many tries, but got it close, enough that is. Hard job but saved rebuilding as I'd done before.

The blade holder died( bent terribly) because the two jaw puller was not the right tool for the job.

Most of your energy input via viewed pipe is lost and wasted. The mower platform needs to absolutely immobilized ( thus being removed and stopped from robbing your effort)
