Melee and the smash series were a large part of my life as I grew up with the series, As I got older and started discovering more about Sakurai, his design mentality and attention to detail. It inspired me to put my all into creating videos where I would try to push my creative skills as much as possible.

I remember when this game was going to launch and I was so hoping for WARIO to finally be a playble character in "SSB: Melee"....and I instead see characters like Pichu and Dr. Mario in it....WTH....so boring and uninspired characters that where just major clones of there counterparts. I was dissapointed, but still fell in love with the game non the less and played so many houers with my lill brother and friends for many years. Just as we had done with SSM on the N64, but this was so much better.

This video just enlights how sakurai was a bad manager, imagine the pressure of you as musician trying to understand what this person feelings meant to be 'cause he couldn't make himself clear. I think that videos like this shouldn't be so personalistic. What about everything that is behind Sakurai? What about our fellow programmers, designers and everybody else that made the real hard work? "Oh look how Sakurai was such a 'virtuoso'!" rly? Great video, but software development isn't personalistic as this kind of media make us think that is, there is so much people in the process.

This is and always was a meme made by casuals to poke fun at the competitive scene, you’ll never meet an actual competitive player who will say this unironically. In fact it’s very far from the truth, these last few years the no1 players in the world have been playing peach, jigglypuff and marth, not only that but final destination is one of the most controversial stages played in tournaments right now, there’s a vocal part of the community that even want to ban it from competitive play
