There are two reasons why insurance won't work for you.
1. If you don't pay your premiums on time, there is a chance the policy will lapse. So make sure you don't miss out on your premiums. Make sure the commitment that you have made is fulfilled to make sure the commitment that comes from the other side is also fulfilled.
2. The wrong size of insurance coverage. If you have too little insurance, it doesn't work. If you have too much insurance which I have never seen happened, it might be overspending which means you will always have a budgeting problem in the future. So make sure you have the right size of insurance coverage that fits you.
