    What are the benefits of doing this exercise? Also, I’m only able to get my tailbone to within 5 inch from the wall, I feel it in the legs. Should I work on getting my tailbone closer to the wall?

      The benefits are improving thoracic extension and basic strengthening of the should muscles on your back. It also helps you establish a proper hip hinge. Yes slowly work your way to the wall but don't force it. Do it every day and in time you will get closer to the wall.
